Line of 13 deep. Under staffed. Awful.

Once again, shame of me for going back to the same CVS. I came at 6:58 they close at 7. She entered my name and a message saying it's not filled popped up. On the ap it says it's ready. I asked her how does that work? The pharmacist said come back at 9am. We are closed. I said, I just asked a question. She say we are closed if you need it go to another CVS open later. I am fine if not ready, but I wondered why the ap says it's ready. I drove across town quickly, I didn't want to make this mistake again. This place has gone down since they have revolving pharmacists. I'm sure no one wants this under staffed pharmacy to be in charge full time. I truly think it's the CVS business model. They cut hours and over work the people. I'm she, the pharmacist gets grilled for any OT hours. I only had a question about the ap and why. Note to self,Keep doing what you doing and getting what you get. Got to stop going here lol note to you, find another drug store.

For some reason, my health wasn't that great in 2012, and I have become a regular at this CVS location. I'm at the point where I know all the employees in the normal store and most of those in the pharmacy, and I at least look familiar to them. The more I talk about this, the more depressing this seems. So moving on. I've found that this CVS has a pretty good selection of items. Also, the pharmacy staff is really helpful in finding the medicine I'm looking for... and offering up cheaper generic version for consideration as well. There's enough parking right around this location, but the main reason I come here is because it's near my Publix, and I'm one of those people that will always come to this specific Publix even if I'm on the other side of town. Being in Ansley, I can hit the grocery store, a tennis shop, my dry cleaners, and CVS all in one shot. Now for some things I'm not a fan. Some of the aisles are a little tight, and occasionally there's a suspicious character hanging out on the bench outside or wandering the store. Also, the pharmacy always seemed slammed, so if you're waiting on a prescription it can be a little slow. One other thing. This location has one of those fancy coupon-printers if you scan your CVS card. So you don't have to keep track of all your receipts. Win.

If you advertise your pharmacy is open til 7 pm, you don't close at 6:57 as a customer is walking in and say come back tomorrow.

Today I bought a set of birthday week surprise boxes--a set of 7 colorful miniature boxes for someone to open each day on their birthday week (or likely the week leading up to their birthday). Each box is supposed to contain something joyful, like maybe a little popper or a birthday message. Currently the seasonal items they have out include UGA football, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. There are also sections of wedding, baby, and birthday themes items, as well as things that are good for a "just because" gift. I'd say the items are priced anywhere from "moderate" to "more than I want to pay."

I needed to pick up some distilled water. I forgot to get at the grocery store and stopped here to…read moreget it on my way into work. You would think a pharmacy, that sells tons of different humidifiers, would have distilled water. That's what you're supposed to use the machines so it doesn't grow bacteria. Nope, couldn't even find a space on the shelf for it to be sold. During the pandemic I had gone to three or four different pharmacies because I couldn't get any distilled water. For various shipping, people out, not being able to restock, etc. reasons. It is a disgrace that pharmacies which sell products that require distilled water could not supply people with CPAP, and other required medical equipment, with distilled water. So, I decided to write a little quick disappointment review of the store in general. When I went in, there was only one person at the front, two people at the pharmacy, and I didn't see anybody in the store. The store was trashed, it looks like there was a Super Bowlparty held in there. Ive never seen it this bad before, literal trash on the floor as well as product on the floor and half empty bins that were left out from restocking that had to be navigated around. I'm not saying it was dirty though, it seemed reasonably clean for a public store. They also no longer have push carts, instead they have little cheap plastic baskets. You have to pull along behind you like a kids toy. For someone with arthritis who has a hard time carrying things in their hand, so has to have some sort of basket it's very awkward. Not only do you have to bend over to put things into the basket, but you can only carry a couple of things at a time. So if I'd have picked up 2 gallons of water, I would not have been able to get anything else, much less picking up the water from the basket and scanning it, and either carrying it in my arthritic hands out of the store or bending over and putting it back in the basket to carry it out of the store and picking it up again to put it into the car. My insurance wants me to use CVS, I'm assuming for bulkpricing reasons, but from now on I'll only be picking up prescriptions at the drive-through. Any other purchases I'll have to make at Walgreens or the grocery store. The store employees, and pharmacists, have always been polite. Not sure what's going on, maybe there were people out sick today with bird flu or something so if you were half people have to do more jobs. But since it's a self check out and somebody has to watch the front that one employee I saw in the store couldn't possibly have gone around and clean things up or put things on the shelves. I hope they get this resolved because this is a convenient store to my job and I would like to be able to visit it again.

Although I have a number of masks I wasn't wearing mine but I did maintain about double the recommended six foot distance. The sheep that follow the guidelines to the letter stare at those of us who aren't covered like we are secondary citizens or have leprosy hey news flash you don't intimidate me so back off lol. Don't take me wrong I fully respect the seriousness of Covid-19 but I don't trust everything I'm told (it wasn't necessary for everyone to wear a mask when they weren't available unless your were a health worker or first responser now that the supply has caught up with the demand it's fast becoming a requirement) is that how it works? Okay enough politics - I'm walking around this store in awe of how nice it is and it's so clean, so my mask off the to management team and employees here, this may be the best looking Kroger's I've ever been in. There appears to be some hoarding still in play, the meat section was a little bare and the toilet paper shelf was a little lean I think these items best represents the barometer of the pandemic panic. There are some tricks to shopping in this new age of paranoid behavior, as with most challenges there are a few things that will fix some of the negative trends - if someone is idled too long in front of the wine section for example, just give a few short coughs as you round the corner and they will give you some space and move along, these may seem a little extreme to some but I've experience a few pretty ridiculous stall tactic in front of the produce sections, come on people make a list and get in and out the days of trolling the aisles is over and please leave the kids at home with a sitter. Kroger's has made some adjustments with how their employees interact with the customers and they all seem reasonable so we should support our local business that have put in the efforts - I'd definitely return to this location. Ok so why four stars there is a rent a cop at the exit that asked to see your receipt and never looks into the cart - get rid of the Barney Fife want to be he's irritating...

For the most part these employees look overworked and need a break probably because of all the folks coming in to shop. Today I saw a guy who was clearly foreign try to insert his card to pay for his items. The card reader didn't work so employee EVELYN- short older ugly black woman, yelled that he was doing it wrong, came around the register, snatched his card out of his hand, tap it, then push it back I his hand. So RUDE!!! EVELYN you need an attitude adjustment and a life lesson on being kind to someone who is foreign and didn't speak English and asking for help.
