I really liked this store and the staff here was really friendly. I came to return a product and was nicely greeted and also did not have to wait in line which is always a plus! I also loved the layout of the store, it was spacious and candles, body care, aromatherapy are all in different sections. The store was clean, neat and had a variety products in stock.

This store should be every woman and man's best store to shop. If you're looking for the perfect gift for anyone. Male, female, young or old this place has the perfect gift for them. When I'm store to get a friend some candles and got candles, lotion name holder, and body spray.....omg. This is why I stay away from that store. Love it.

I really like this location. It's big and easy to find what you are looking for. When they have huge sales it's more like a zoo in there and you can be waiting in line for at least 15min. The employees here for the most part are very nice & eager to help you find something. This weekend the guy working the front door spent about 10min looking for a particular candle I wanted which I thought was super sweet. I didn't care to much that they "gave" me a shopping bag upon entering the store then during checkout I saw they charged me $1.50 for it and I told the chick to take that off I am fine w/ the free paper bag. I went on to tell her they should inform people that the bags are $1.50 before giving them to us right when we walk in. She was like well there is a sign saying they cost. I told her we (customers) are not looking at a sign if they are putting it in our hands as soon as we come through the door. Anyhoo she was a little rude and I feel like bath & bodyworks were trying to sneak another $1.50 out of people. Other than that love this location. I usually park on the street & put $1 in the meter. That gives you like 20min at least. Wish they would bring the $5 off coupons back for leaning a review. Overall they get 4 stars.

    First receipt with total.

Whew the manager was so unbelievably rude to me when I asked a question. Sorry she's that miserable. Otherwise, the store itself was nice.

The many scents that hit my nose as soon I opened the door hit me hard, but in a good way! I, at first, thought I was in a soap store, Candlefish is at the north end of Ponce City Market close to the parking lot. It's a nice, open, bright space, with welcoming and friendly employees. After I realized that it was multiple various candle scents that I was smelling at the same time, a smiling employee came to me, and told me to let her know if I needed any help and if she could help me find anything. I told her that I was just looking. After picking up a variety of candles, such as mimosa, pina colada, Bloody Mary, and others, and smelling each of them, the candles started smelling similar. Not that they actually did smell similar, it's just that the scents throughout the store were just overwhelming me. This was my queue to leave. I will most likely be back to take a closer look at what Candlefish has. The store smelled really nice.

Our class had about eight people and kicked off with a lighthearted icebreaker, which helped set a relaxed, social tone. You can also enjoy sparkling wine or sparkling cider during the experience, which was a nice touch. Our instructor clearly walked us through the candle-making process step by step, making it easy to follow even for beginners. One of the highlights is their scent wall where they offer 40+ fragrance options, so you can create a custom blend that truly fits your vibe. This is a great activity idea for a date night, bestie outing, team-building event, or girls' day out. They also sell premade candles, wax melts, and scent drops in-store and everything smells amazing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, hands-on experience in the city.

Ehh, not the best, but it is definitely worth it and it was free. I was invited here for a real estate event. Don't know how I got on the list, but I'm not going to question a free experience in the A. This place is divided into two sections. One section for body scrubs and butters and the other for candles. We chose the candle experience. It was really fun! Very engaging and interactive. There was plenty of staff readily available to assist you with any questions you had. Regular price would have been $43.56 per person, but even then it would have been worth it. The whole experience lasted an hour or two if even. You'll have to forgive me, there was some alcohol involved in the process which made everything all the more lively. The owner is the sweetest! She made sure to connect with everyone. The candle aroma oils were expansive and you could quite literally create just about anything and everything you could think of, including any of the premade candles (available for purchase) on the walls. The best part? You get to name and keep your candle to take home. 10/10 ATL experience. Highly recommend.

I tried the custom sugar scrub-making class with my best friend, and we left with soft hands and full hearts. Every part of the experience was thoughtfully curated--from the scent options to the shimmer and self-care vibes. It's not just a class, it's an experience. Whether you're planning a girls' day, date night, or solo reset, this is the spot. And yes, they also offer body butter and candle-making classes (which I'm already planning to come back for). Bonus points for being Black-owned, woman-owned, and so clearly rooted in community and creativity. Atlanta needs more places like this!

A class was about to start in 15 minutes and there were still a few spots left and I was able to join in. The class size was close to 20-25 people split between two large long tables where you had plenty of room to create. The entire run time for the class was probably about 2 hours. Very chill environment and you are provided the opportunity to create scents until you get the exact smell that you want for your candle. There were two people overseeing the class and they encourage mistakes and do overs. I did notice that people were able to BYOB. I thought that was neat as most people in the class seemed to be celebrating a birthday with a group. We were offered water during the class which I felt was considerate. The space doubles as a retail store and you're able to buy candles from known candle companies and some local companies as well. For the experience, I felt that value was fair. $50 to make and take your candle the same day. We were notified that it takes some time for your candle to set so you can't take it immediately which was fine because they will hold your candle for up to 6 wks for pickup which was gracious!
