Just wow. The store was late opening, I was the first person at the pharmacy. The staff is NOT welcoming at all. I could barely hear the pharmacy tech speak. First off the staff at this location are good. None of the issues I've had are on the people in the store. They've tried there level best to fix it. It's all corporate problems. And there are huge, extremely dangerous and they're probably going to eventually end up killing somebody. The database where they keep all your prescription information is corrupted and has been for months. The prescribing doctor on your prescriptions will be some random doctor you've never seen. I've tried to get them to fix this in store no less than 10 times. Next month it's right back to the mystery doctor. Today I tried to refill and a bunch of my meds have Doctor "Not Applicable". Really? What school did Dr Not Applicable attend? University of Not Available? With them constantly sending prescriptions to random doctors, they will eventually give somebody something they shouldn't and they'll have a bigger problem. When that happens I'll be glad to testify that corporate knew the database was fried and did nothing but continue business as usual. I see lots of 1 star, "They never called my doctor" or "Never get my refills" reviews. They called "A" doctor. Just not YOUR doctor. I talked to the staff at this location they know it's happening but it's not something they can fix. It's at headquarters and they can't fix it. I've talked to other customers and they're experiencing the exact same thing. No matter how many time it's fixed, next month it's corrupted again. Run as fast as you can. Anyplace but CVS. Any CVS, because this issue is at a corporate level. All CVS pharmacies use the same fried database. They're going to kill somebody. Get out of there before it's you. read more

Denise is the worst pharmacy technician ever she hates her job and her life. She was so rude, threw the medication in the basket and walked away even though I had more questions about a different medication. She seen me sitting there and didn't come to the window until I pressed the call button. She then said 2 words about my other medication which wasn't covered by insurance, printed it out walked away again didn't even ask if I needed anything else. I can't believe she works in the medical field. Definitely taking it up with corporate . I was so appalled. read more

Let's call it like it is because, maybe it's the New York in me but, I can't tolerate BS or poor service, especially when snooty, Prima Donna employees forget that they're OVERHEAD and the CUSTOMERS are PROFIT. Welcome to the CVS Pharmacy at 9628 Rosedale Hwy. The STORE STAFF, in general, AWAY from the Prima Donnas at the Pharmacy...all good experiences with any of them anytime we've been in. The floor staff and everyone up front..terrific!! The Pharmacy? Uhhhh.......not so much (and I'm being kind giving them even THAT much). The gamut from complete indifference to outright rude; including the phone call my wife just made 25 minutes ago to see if the prescription the doctor called in was ready. FEMALE, UNNECESSARILY RUDE, CURT, INDIFFERENT. As soon as my wife said OK we'll pick it up...."CLICK." Nothing. Nada. Zip. No "OK, it's here when you're ready" (or anything similar). No verbiage of ANY kind -- no sound -- no grunts -- no guttural gruffness -- no acknowledgement at ALL of the CUSTOMER on the other end of the call....just..."CLICK". Management should be ashamed of having their company repped like this. I'm in the entertainment business, and having been in "service' to producers and studios and fulfilling their needs for DECADES, I KNOW what it takes to 'deliver' the goods as professionally as possible and build a reputation to be proud of. Attitude-wise? This CVS Pharmacy doesn't make the cut. Not even close. The female who answered the phone earlier obviously skipped class that day when they taught "customer service." And she's not the only one back there with that toxic attitude. When we experience great, even "GOOD" service, we tip HEAVILY and what's MORE -- we make SURE the restaurant owners, or business owners, managers, whomever etc. KNOW how great their staff performed; how terrific THAT team member performed. I want to take a minute to tell you guys that this pharmacy location is a total joke! They don't follow through of contacting your doctor, calling you back when they say they would and also have made mistakes in your prescriptions! I would give this place a 0 star if I could believe me that! The staff itself are ok at times but they don't follow through of anything like I said and I've gone to this pharmacy for years and years. There was a time when the staff were great and they actually did their job! And then they get rid of those staff members or they leave for whatever reason. Then they hire people that don't do their jobs right or they at times act unprofessional for different things. This location has two lines at the drive thru, COVID testing and Pharmacy pick up. I waited over an hour with two people in front of me in the COVID testing like because they will serve pharmacy customers first. Someone can pull up into the pharmacy line after you've been waiting for over 30 mins and be assisted first. It's extremely disorganized and I tried calling while in line because they were way past my appointment time and my call was never answered. RITE AID has a better testing system and friendlier staff. read more

Started coming here to get my prescription because they have a drive thru. During the pandemic I decided not to go into Target to get it as usual. At the end of October I decided to try their free 1-2 day delivery. My order was placed on 10/29, and promised to me on 10/31. On 10/31, it was handed over to usps and sent to Santa Clarita and now said to be delivered 11/5, way outside the 1-2 day delivery and well past the promised 10/31 delivery date! This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable! I had issues with this pharmacy before with them it having my prescriptions ready on time, and having to return hours later, but this is too much! read more

I've never used their pharmacy, so this review is strictly for the store. I walked into this CVS for the first time and at first glance felt like I was in a Rite Aid. How does one review one of these stores? They all seem pretty much the same. They have a pharmacy, carry a better selection of over the counter medicines, makeup, toiletries, and vitamins than most grocery stores - though that comes at a higher price. Usually it's worth it to pay a little more to get a better selection. On this particular visit I was here just to get some munchies and a drink. This is where I started to notice a clear difference between CVS and Rite Aid. At Rite Aid I have to walk past a whole bunch of other things to get to the food and the refrigeration unit with the drinks. At CVS this is set up near the front of the store just past the cash registers. It was a straight shot from the door to my energy drink. A lot of stores periodically run a special on energy drinks - either 2 for $5 or 2 for $4, but you have to buy two to get the deal. Here, my Rockstar was only $2.19 everyday price. Score. The bottled sodas were slightly more expensive - $1.77 instead of Rite Aid's $1.69, but still comparable (though the soda machine at school sells the same bottle for $1.25). The candy bars were on sale, too - some were $.75 each and some were buy 2 get 1 free. I also noticed that they have very convenient signage overhead with print that even I won't need my glasses to decipher, delineating where each department was located in the store. The store is open from 8am-10pm daily, but the pharmacy department is only open 8am-9pm Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm on Saturdays, and 10am-6pm on Sundays. pros: convenient store set up, prominent signage for departments, ease of access to my favorite caffeinated treats, convenient store hours, friendly service staff, better selection of nonfood products than grocery stores cons: prices seemed higher than at grocery stores, particularly on food items Don't forget to get your flu shots while you're there! read more

I'm not a fan of CVS Pharmacy locations, but I do stop in from time to time. This location is the standard CVS store. Nothing great or bad about it. I can say that it is well-organized and clean. Sign up for their rewards program for good deals. Also, buy their private label if you want to save additional money. Their private labels are cheaper than the brand names. The quality of their private label items are not bad either. I still prefer Rite Aid locations because I'm a fan of Thrifty ice cream. Sorry CVS....get Thrifty Ice Cream, and I'll stop in more often. read more

I used to live down the street from this CVS so I tried forEVER to convince myself that it was okay that the cashiers were rude and snobby because of the convenience of the location. No more! As far as location and what is in the store, you can't get any better than a corner drug store. They're obviously over priced but you're paying for the convenience. As far as customer service, on more than one occasion, I've been scrutinized and interrogated like a criminal just for couponing. I can guarantee you that my coupon trip is FAR less complicated than most and I'm also just a nice person in general. Never met or seen the pharmacist I don't with any other time that I've been there and as soon as I show up and tell him what I need he acts like me being there is an inconvenience. The young gal processing the drop off in the pharmacy is one of the rudest employees I have ever come across. No greeting or smile, simply said "I'll help you here." She argued about my insurance without even looking at insurance card- "guessed" from her view of it in my hand. After telling her the same thing- three times, she finally looked at my card and simply said, "I've never seen this before" now we are told there will be at least an hour wait. Since this pharmacy opened, I have not yet to pick up my prescriptions on a timely manner. They always have an excuse why they don't have them completed. Also, another big issue is that they never fail to charge me more or tell me my insurance doesn't cover it even though my past purchases show differently. Either they are trying to get more money or they need a new system because I am arguing about the price each and every time I go in. Then I will wait another day and they will have the price fixed and blame it on something... I have had enough!! Going. Back to Walmart even though it's a zoo there, I can all ways pick them up on time and the price doesn't change constantly. read more

After exhausting all my CVS locations from Madera to Bakersfield; I finally found this location that carried the medication I needed. When my insurance made it difficult to get a 30 day amount instead of 90 (which CVS did not have) they worked with me to find a resolution to the problem. The pharmacy staff went the extra mile to make sure we had our medication while on vacation. I just received the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a drug store. So I am waiting for my prescription and decided, it's been a heck of a day I think I need a bottle of wine. Well luck would have it they had some on sale!! So I grab the bottles of wine and goto the register we're Johnny helps me.. if you can call it that - help. So he charges me the .10c for a bad which I said, oh I don't need a bag. I actually had a bag in my car. He says "um no you do need a bag, it's alcohol and that's the law!" Okay force me to pay .10c for a bag I didn't ask for. Then I hand him a $1 coupon and say can I use this, it was on the bottle. He says yah sure. He scans it and the machine tells him it's expired. He said, guess you can't use it it's expired. Then I said it was on the bottle on your shelf... his response... what are we supposed to do check all the coupons in our store? Umm yah.. now I wonder do they check anything? Food Expiration dates? Etc! Well thanks John for solidifying my choice never to shop at that CVS again... BTW, The Bureau of alcohol tobacco and firearms specifically states there is no law that says alcohol must be bagged.
