Fast. Kind polite service. Pretty tasty donuts. It's literally an old bank, but it's so cute and cozy. Next time I'll stop by with a little time to sit and enjoy the vibe of the spot.

This cafe has an inviting ambiance. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu options, and quite accommodating to out of state visitors. I love the bacon and egg Croissants.

For starters I love that this location is right outside of my neighborhood. It's so easy to just pack the kids and go down the road. Customer service is 10/10. They are always very sweet and very quick as well. I come here almost every weekend and the place is very clean and I've never had any issues. If I'm by myself I always get a breakfast sandwich. The biscuits and the croissants are great. The bacon croissant is my absolutely favorite The kids LOVE the donuts from this place. We get regular, chocolate, sprinkles and donut holes. Sometimes they are sweet enough to throw something extra in for us as well free of charge.

Great selection and friendly service. We got the apple fritter which was great as well as a dozen mixed. They look even better than they taste! The meeting room is convenient for small groups and studying as well. A nice addition to the area.

Support this local business! Newly opened donut shop and it's quality is just as amazing as the older shops like Krispy Kreme or Mary Lee Donuts! I would say even better they also have burgers which are HUGE in size and delicious. The service is always amazing with sweet staff throwing in freebies. And the ambiance is nice and calm with many people often chilling eating or working.

What a great idea! Donuts and Hamburgers. Who would go to a coffee shop for donuts? After today, I would and will go back again. The most elegant Donut shop we have ever been to. love the fact they have rooms where you can gather for a meeting or lunch. The owners are very nice and cordial. Had jazz music playing, felt like we were fine dining. The owner took time to explain menu items that we had questions about. We ordered the DC&B Special! Wow what a treat. One of the best hamburgers we have eaten. Juicy cooked to perfection and all the trimmings. Fries ame out in a little basket and were amazing. A lady sitting next to us told the owner, "my granddaughter wanted donuts, my grandson wanted a hamburger so we came here." This is a gem waiting to be found. Now that you know about it, check it out. You won't be disappointed!!

Breakfast was good, and now I'm anxious to try lunch here, especially the Korean corn dogs (and burgers of course)! Our family stopped in to taste some donuts (and I'll admit, compare them to Mary Lee as is our typical Sunday morning pre-church fave), and I was quite impressed! DC&B shouldn't be compared to Mary Lee though as for one thing, and no offense to Mary Lee, there's no ambiance for eating at Mary Lee. DC&B transformed a bank into a sweet dining spot with at least two private dining rooms that I saw. One lady was in there having her breakfast and appeared to be remote working, which I thought was brilliant really. Anyway...huge menu to choose from besides all the goodies on display, such as breakfast burritos and donuts galore. We tried the chocolate donut holes, a pinecone donut, fruity pebbles donut, blueberry cake donut, and a bacon, egg, & cheese kolachi. All super yummy. I've also tried the breakfast burritos at work events and been impressed. I prefer protein for breakfast, so I love all the options here. Overall, I'm very impressed and hopeful for DC&B to stick around for many years to come. I love supporting local, especially when the service, quality, and location are all great as was my experience. Check it out for yourself!

    Apple fritter is heavenly!

Great new place. Better than all the donut places nearby (and I've tried them all!). I recommend the apple fritters and old fashioned donuts

Having thought I've eaten through most donut shops in BR, I was surprised to learn the existence of…read moreCrispy Donut, which has supposedly been around for the better part of the last two decades. Located along Highland Road just outside of the LSU campus, this Asian-owned biz has been hiding behind a popular Chevron gas. station. It's not much to look at from the outside, but fans of donuts and kolaches will be able to enjoy something here. The inside is quiet and has limited counter seating and goes heavy on the LSU decor. It feels like a cafe that is dated but still hasn't finished the renovation. I imagine the idea is to pump some gas and get a donut, which has a staple format for so many BR peeps. The menu will always elicit a double take from me, with its awkward placement of numbers and the fact the stickers are so large that they had to abbreviate kolache to "kolach" and jalapeño to jalap. What's not condensed is those prices, which show nearly $40 for a dozen boudin kolaches and $12-20 for a dozen donuts. The breakfast croissants are $44 for a dozen, which just feels very steep. If a donut maximizes the taste, then the value is sometimes justified. However, trying their glazed, sprinkled, cake, fritters, and chocolate donuts, I can't say they're exceptional. The jalapeño kolaches and boudin kolaches were solid, but I'm not likely to order them again. The fact they still have Yoohoo in the fridge, is a nostalgic throwback I can appreciate. The owner is a sweet Cambodian man and is welcoming for every customer. Any attempts to use a credit card will incur a 50 cent surcharge for any purchases less than $5. Parking is limited to the gas station spots, but it's never crowded enough in here to be an issue. Lastly, every pastry shop is guilty of this, but the mini flies stuck inside of the display case is a massive turn off. ___________ (#1) Thank you, Yelp app.
