This CVS is huge and is fully stoked whenever I come by. Also it's super nice that it closes at midnight if you need to run out for something last minute. That was me just the other day when my white Christmas lights at home went out. I drove here after trying 2 other stores in the area, and only this CVS had 3 boxes of the same lights so I got those and put them up at my apartment. This CVS coming in clutch big time! read more

USES A Pedatory towing service that towed my car while I was shopping at the CVS and then the tow company was very rude on the phone when I tried to get my car back. THe pharmacists are fabulous at this location. I went in with a perscription for a medication. After looking it up on the computer, the pharmacists determined that it was going to cost me me 900.00 for just two doses. Trying to save me money, she called the doctor for a new perscription for a generic drug that was a perfect substitute. The new medication was covered by my insurance while the original was not. Of course, I was overjoyed with her extraordinary effort and thought she had gone beyond the call of duty. read more

I'm not sure "what-in-the-Dwight-Shrute" policy the manager has here but I parked my car in the FURTHEST spot from the door, BEHIND the building in an EMPTY lot and they had me towed in under 10 minutes. I cannot tell you how upset I am... I am sick, not feeling well, and my doctor sent a script into this in the morning. I called to check that they received it and asked when it would be ready... was told 15 minutes. Over 2 hours later, I stopped at the drive though window, had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up, and was told the script was not yet ready. 20 minutes later, I was able to pick up... 2-1/2 hours after it was promised. The excuse... a lot of people showed up for flu shots. So because they are a profit center for the chain, people have to wait many hours for their scripts? Really... how dare you, CVS. I am calling corporate to let them know (or course, they will probably say the store made the right decision... profit over customer's health, right? What a horribly managed chain... really bad priorities. read more

Manager is a moron. Not sure how he's a manager when he's a glorified doorman. Couldn't figure out how to get our purchase prices done correctly and kept just telling us "the machine won't let us do it," even though he agreed that we were right. I hope machines take over his job sooner than later bc what's the point of his role at this point. read more

I walk in planning to print photos and, because it's often out of service (so often I almost wonder why they bother having it), I leave with photos in my hand about 50% of the time. BTW: Self checkouts are all gone here, which is not a + in my book. There are now lines to get out because, so far, there doesn't seem to be enough staff on-hand to man the 2 registers (plus 1 in the photo area) when it's busy. read more

Brand new, huge, and blows the one up the street outta the water for so many different reasons. The parking lot is bigger, wider, and there are two different street entrances. More space so you're not tripping over aisles or people. The manager greets everyone as they come in, helps you find what you need, and assists with the self check out. They have a self check out. Wahoo! Now I can't give 5 stars because their Hallmark selection is kind of small given the size of the store... also, we'll see how long the friendliness of the staff lasts... but for now, this is my pharmacy of choice! read more

This store refuses to give customers advertised discounts unless you join their big brother card program so they can watch all your purchases. All other cvs stores provide customers the discounts via a courtesy card at the register. .. Do not shop here!!! read more

I like coming to this store. The front store (retail part) has nice and helpful people working there. They always show me where the products I am looking for. The back of the store (pharmacy) is not great. I always have an issue with the pharmacy staff. This time I needed consultation on a product so I stood at the consultation counter. The pharmacist was stupid enough to ask if I had a question.... Of course I had a question or I wouldn't be standing there!! What was he expecting??? He sent his intern to help me which he already stated he didn't know. The intern should have asked the pharmacist if he knew about my product. But he didn't. The pharmacy here is a waste of my time. The 24 hour store in Watertown has better service than this place. So disappointing. read more

They only have self-check outs, which never seem to work properly. The poor employees have to run around trying to get the machines to work especially when there's many people trying to pay at once. It would be much faster and efficient and less frustrating to have one person checking people out. Multiple times I've just left my basket of things and gone elsewhere after trying to check out and the machines don't work and there's no one available to help. Also, I've bought milk there before only to get home and notice the expiration date on the milk was over a week ago. read more

Nice mid-size CVS with a good selection of household items. Definitely get the CVS card otherwise things are way too expensive. They actually have a not bad amount of semi-real food in the refrigerated section, like fruit, eggs, etc. Sometimes it can be a little bit of a madhouse but no biggie, the staff help people get through the self checkout. Private parking lot which is huge so that's good. read more

Even when the pharmacy is overwhelmed, understaffed, and lines are ringing off the hook they still somehow manage to put on a smile and answer, even the most absurd of customer questions, with patience and thoughtful consideration. While this CVS Pharmacy is no longer the closest pharmacy to where I live, I go out of the way to go to this one because of how the staff has treated me as opposed to many closer CVS Pharmacies. It is obvious that the pharmacists/team at 207 Market St., regardless of the other employees in the store, have the best interest of their patients/clients. I have been going to this pharmacy for 2 years, very well more, and they are the only one I have found to date that doesn't judge you or treat you with distain when you drop off a prescription... or pick one up. read more

It's got everything you'd need and then some. Plus, it's big, clean, and convenient to get to -- a few steps away from my place, but also right on the bus line(s). It's well-stocked, and despite what others have said, I've always found the employees there to be a) present and b) pleasant. The self check out is my payment method of choice, but there's always someone ready to man the real registers, if that's more your speed. The pharmacy is great: the pharmacists I've encountered there have always been courteous and professional. For a CVS, I think it's pretty nice! And certainly larger and better than the one on Washington St., and even the ones in Harvard Square. read more

The smell of animal feces and other pet supplies permeates the entire store. Yes, it's gross. It is unbearable to walk through this CVS without gagging. I would suggest going to the slightly less convenient CVS stores rather than this one despite its enormous parking lot, because of the terrible-ness. read more

Brand spankin' new. I was thrilled to find out a new CVS was opening up in Brighton, especially because it is near my house and I no longer have to go to the hell hole CVS on Washington Street. The place is huge, wall to wall of everything you could possibly need--food, drinks, snacks, meds, hair and body products, seasonal items, etc. The pharmacist was so friendly, and she even gave us $5 off our purchases as well as a $25 gift card. My favorite CVS! I love the self-checkout. There's almost never a wait. I mainly shop the makeup department here, but I will also grab cold medicine and other little things. Selection is always good of whatever I need, and it's always clean and organized. read more

It was a lovely Saturday afternoon, when my wife asked me to buy Neosporin & a gallon of water on the way home. So I parked next to the local CVS store on Market street in Brighton at around 3 pm, spent about 10 minutes in the store, purchasing what I needed, left CVS at 3.10 pm and put all the CVS goodies in the trunk of my car. Due to the fact that the parking lot has a sign, limiting customer parking to 1 hour, I thought I had a few more minutes to get a coffee from a store next to CVS. I was surprised, when just a few minutes later I didn't find my car at the CVS parking lot. I panicked that the car has been stolen and called the police. As it turned out the car had been towed from the CVS parking lot by Robert's towing company. The CVS manager on duty - Rosa - told me to go to the towing company, which was just a few blocks down the road and show them the receipt from the CVS store in order to clear my car from any associated towing charges. So naturally, I was surprised to find out that in order to release my car I had to pay $143 cash to Robert's towing Inc. I've spent the next 1.5 hours walking back and forth between the CVS store, the towing company, ATM , along with making a couple of calls to Brighton police department. I was extremely exhausted, frustrated and upset, as was my wife. As it turned out, my problem was outside of the police jurisdiction, outside of the CVS manager responsibilities and outside of the Robert's towing common sense. There were no rules I've broke, but I still had to pay to get my car back, simply because nobody was responsible and the towing company invented its own rules on the go. So the lovely Saturday afternoon turned into hell, and the trip to CVS for Neosporin and some water took me roughly 2 hours and cost me over $150. I was highly surprised when on Monday morning I received the email from a store manager Hilary offering me the reimbursement for the towing fee. To be honest, I couldn't resist to get my money back and look at the CVS manager in the eyes . Not only Hilary reimbursed me, but she offered a sincere apology. I'd like to thank Hilary for treating me with respect and kindness. This CVS store is my favorite now, because it employs fabulous and professional people who share people values and develop high ethical standards. P.S. I'm still planning to file a complain against Robert's Towing Inc. to the Transportation Oversight Division. read more

I'm not terribly a fan of this CVS location. Everything seems very cramped, starting with the parking lot and all the way through to the cash register situation. They have a few self check out stations, so you can move through a bit quicker, but their placement doesn't look too thought out. Overall it just seems pretty disorganized. read more

Very good pharmacy staff they are really helpful. Instead of me arguing with my insurance company for my vitamins, they do it for me. If I have a question, they help me to best of there knowledge. read more
