Had to make a trip out this way for an unfortunate reason but it's okay cuz we got us sum WAWA!!! Totally took advantage of our geographical location and grabbed some hoagies for lunch. We got 2 BLT's and 1 Italian. We ordered seamlessly on the self-serv computer and customized our order however we liked. After a short wait our order was ready & we paid in a jiffy. It was easy-peasy! Hoagies were yummy, as always, store was very clean, and staff was super nice.

At last the new WaWa is open! I have come to appreciate their great approach to one stop convenience. They are very competitive with their gas prices They do an excellent job with their easy order kiosk for made to order sandwiches and subs. The quality is consistently good and the prices are reasonable. They also have an excellent selection of different types of coffee. This location just opened today and already it's a hit!

This Wawa is very clean and convenient. I like the new location here. Things are looking pretty good so far. You gotta come for the Hoagie-fest deals in the summer. They have fully loaded subs around 10 inches for $5 bucks. Its a healthy portion and its better than subway by far. There are tons of choices but I just got the wildwood custom hoagie. It had fried chicken strips, chopped beef, creamy chipotle dressing topped with roasted red peppers, banana peppers, jalapenos, pickles and old bay. Pretty tasty stuff... The topping combinations are endless. Check out the beer selection too. The whole store is very well organized.

Wawa is Wawa I don't care where you go, just great service... now they are getting onboard with these meal deals and one price subs

Do not use the Wawa app it sucks. You order food when you go to pick it up and they tell you they don't have what you ordered because they don't carry the food on the actual app in the store. It's just enough to make you mad especially when you have your mindset on something that you saw on there that you know you want and then you get to the store and they don't carry that item it's just a pretty picture on their app. They don't actually carry these items. They're just there for looks. Wawa sucks. Go to Sheetz. At least they have what they advertise.

I don't smoke or chew, but it looks like they have that area covered.

It's a Wawa. Good food, relatively clean restrooms and gas. Everything you need from a convenience store and gas station.

Before going in, I read some Yelp reviews and they were on point. The ambiance is clean, decorated, inviting, with soft lighting. The cashier and cook were quiet but nice. Not shouting or overly excited to chat me up. He was soft spoken, cautiously shy, but nice. Once he realized that I was cool and knew what I wanted, his serious face softened and he opened up. The cook easily smiled. There's no music, just sizzling sounds from the grill. There's a funny message on the bathroom floor the sink needs updating and it needs a nice soap dispenser with quality soap. Other the that, the place is nice. Would be a spot to go on a date. The vibe is grown and sexy, not kiddish like other burger joints. So don't expect crayons on the table and high chairs. Now to the food. I ordered the Chicken Over Rice platter. They plated it quickly. It camed with fresh salad, pita bread, and a few French fries on top . They covered everything with their delicious white sauce. I asked to have the hot sauce on the side bcz I wasn't sure how hot it was. I like spicy but some hot sauces can ruin the dish. Their sauce wasn't too hot, but I'm glad I got it on the side. The chicken was moist, flavorful, well seasoned, marinated, and lightly grilled. Everything was fresh, moist, and piping hot. I could tell the meat was halal bcz it had a fresh chickeny taste. If you know, you know. I ordered extra pita bread. The platter comes with 2 pieces but the extra comes with 4. I'm so full! I took half my platter to go with 3/4 of the extra pita bread. I'll save it for dinner. The platters come with a full tray. If you come for lunch, you'll be stuffed probably sleepy like I am rn. Take the rest home. If you come here starving, you'll leave full and satisfied. I only paid $12 plus $1.50 for extra pita bread. That's a steal in this economy! I hope they don't increase the prices after reading this. I'll be back, inshallah . Thanks for the good lunch and chill energy.

I added this casual spot to my list a couple months ago, but didn't have concrete plans to check it out. Driving to Manassas and back on I-66 from where I live would cost half of my brain cells and all my patience. However, a few friends and I drove out to Shenandoah this past Friday evening, and I made a convincing argument that HawaU would be on the way. By the time we arrived, we were all incredibly hungry and ready to wolf down anything edible. The ordering process was easy: we ordered and paid at the counter, grabbed a seat at one of the few tables, and waited ~10-15 minutes for the food (parts of it are made to order). LOCO MOCO (BOWL) - 9.99 The chipotle-sized bowl was topped with loco moco: white rice base topped with hamburger patty, fried egg, grilled pineapple slice, and a generous pour of beef & mushroom gravy, plus sides of fresh cabbage salad and mac salad. The gravy nostalgically reminded me of the ones I'd get from cafeteria-style school lunches -- thick, salty, slightly starchy, yet oddly comforting. The egg, hamburger patty, and rice were pretty standard, but the familiarity of the gravy tied the whole dish together nicely. Both salads were good -- the cabbage was more light and refreshing, while the mac salad felt a bit heavy after all the loco moco. Since it's my first time eating loco moco, I can't say how it compares to others. However, I found HawaU's incredibly comforting and hearty. It really hit the spot for me, and I ate the whole bowl within 10 minutes. The loco moco is definitely their signature option and a must try. My friends who got the spicy pork bowl and udon thought both were just OK and not special.

I got it to go to run some errands and eat later. Food was good. Fries were a mix of crispy with a little softer (which were fine.) Seasoned, but not overly salty. While it may be just misremembering, I feel like the tenders were also better seasoned this time around. I feel like the prices skew just a little high, but I've had good experiences at this location. It's not close, so maybe the occasional treat.

Cons - honestly the fries are not worth the price. For a place called shake shack, I didn't find the shakes that impressive. Pro tip - order online prior to arrival. The restaurant chain was established by the sons of a World War II veteran, Frederick Simon. The walls in the restaurant, including in the restrooms, are covered with photos of the guy, many of them detailing Freddy's accomplishments. In summary, I would definitely come back, largely by dint of the expansive menu. Service has its quirks and can be uneven because of the youth and inexperience of the staff. You pick up your hot food from a different counter than the one for desserts. In an unusual twist for a fast food establishment, they have a staffer come around periodically to customers at the tables to see if they need anything, even if that is nothing more than straws or napkins. Restaurant cleanliness was decent. Now on to the food... As an introduction to Freddy's I ordered the Freddie's Original Double Burger. You can customize them because I ordered mine sans pickles. The default Original Burger comes with 2 patties, cheese, a couple strands of onion and a whole bunch of yellow mustard. They have a catsup dispenser by the soft drinks, so I added catsup to mine. Mayo would have been good too. I would say this was an excellent burger. The tasty meat was kind of like a smash burger, flat and wide. The bun was sturdy. I then had a very good Signature Turtle sundae, a confection with frozen custard, chocolate and caramel sauces, pecans, adorned with whipped cream and a cherry. When all is said and done, I think I prefer frozen custard over ice cream.
