If your husband was so offended and truly thought he was being discriminated against, why wait to come home, tell you the story and then YOU feel the need to report such hearsay. Our 24hour CVS rocks my socks. Please take a moment and think how you're husband spoke to this associate, what was his tone of voice, what were his facial expressions, what words did he use. Ah! Open late clean and has everything that you probably in the need. 24/7. The staff seem engaged in their work and always busy. They can always help you find what you're looking for. When it comes to gift cards, their area is very clean and organized making it very easy to find what you're looking for. I especially like this!!! read more

Worst CVS ever! It's the closet one too my house and I'm glad it's opened 24 hours if I ever really need anything but this place is always understaffed. Long lines everywhere. Says open 24 hours on website, on phone, and on door. None of the various papers on front door say anything about a change in hours, other than dedicated hours for elderly. However, the front door does say open 24 hours every day several different times. Apparently 24 hours does not mean 4am, even though I could clearly see several workers in the store. Called the store while staring at someone, triple checked the hours on the phone, transferred call to the front store and rang rang rang until it hung up. Did that 2x and no answer. Eventually the guy looked at me and hand motioned that they were closed. If you're not going to be open during the posted (everywhere) hours, then change the damn postings. 3 Stars because I'm a sucker for drugstores with carpeting. Also, plastic forks and paper bowls were on sale and that's all I needed so it was nice. I can see where the lines here can get pretty crazy but that's not always CVS's fault. For instance, I was in line behind a seemingly nice couple who didn't have a CVS card and then wanted to maybe get a card (and hold up the line) but refused to give out their phone number and/or email... which does not get you a CVS card. It does make you kind of a jag to everyone else in line because everyone in the first world knows that if you want one of those cards anywhere, you need to give up some bit of personal information. That's how sh*t works. So everyone waited and waited while the guy fumbled through trying to make up a number and it was mega annoying and I half wanted to just give my CVS number but it wasn't worth getting the points to save those bungs 30 cents. The staff here were helpful and friendly and pointed me right to the forks and paper bowls which is just the cherry on top of them having everything you need on sale already and plush carpeting throughout. read more

Ignore the low ratings. How can you not like a place that is open 24/7? This is the ONLY CVS or place in Silicon Valley that I know of that is open 24/7 aside from Denny's & a handful of other places. This place is clean and NOT ghetto! It's almost right by Whole Foods & Ross. My only complaint about this place is that they usually only have two cashiers working at a time. They should hire more people here. Actually, that seems to be a problem at all CVS stores that I've been to. If you don't have a CVS savings card or don't have yours on you, just ask the cashier to use theirs and you'll get any savings on CVS sales. I digress...This place is great for those of you who are out of town travelers, those having guests over, night owls, those who work the night shift, etc...For those of you who aren't familiar with Silicon Valley, it tends to be like a grandma and grandpa town as most places, even grocery stores tend to close at 9p.m. I'm not kidding! Some do open until midnight, but very few do. Most restaurants also tend to close early at around 10p.m unless it happens to have a bar area. So if you forget your toothbrush or whatever, no problem! This place has a large selection of just about everything that you'd need at a place like this including a pharmacy. I don't think that they're open 24/7 though. Although the parking lot in this area is big, it's usually packed during the day and on the weekends unless of course you're they're when everything else is closed! read more

Working in Health Care, I know a thing or two about customer service and let me tell you, the pharmacy staff at CVS need a refresher course. Let's begin... Sunday - 1:30pm: Go to pick up a medication I have been taking for years. Front counter staff says the pharmacist is on lunch and I will have to wait 30 MINUTES for her to get back so I can have a mandated consult with her. I politely say, "I decline the consult because I have been on this medication for 10 years so do not need one". Counter staff girl "Sorry you have to wait." So I leave. Pissed off. Day one without any of my daily medication. Monday - 8:30am: Come back to pick up the medication I should have received the day before. No one is working in the pharmacy except the pharmacist you looks at me and completely ignores me. I stand there for 5 minutes (which feels like a lot longer when you're actually standing there). Then, he gets on the phone. I say, "Excuse me, can someone help me?" Pharmacist: "If you'll notice, I'm on the phone and it's just me working. I can't do two things at once." So I leave. Crying (no joke, he was so rude it put me in tears). Day two without medication. PS. Asked to speak to the manager who said he'd "look into it. I'm not saying you're lying but I need to talk to him." Awesome. Monday - 8:00pm: Come back AGAIN to pick up the same damn medication. There is only one person working at the front counter so I stand in line with 10 other CVS customers. Waited for 20 minutes and received my medication. Kicker is that I never was asked to have a pharmacist consult! Wasn't that the reason I couldn't pick it up the first time? I'm switching all my meds to Walgreens and never looking back. read more

Oh Longs Drug Store -- how I miss you. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it possible to take a very old, dated store and somehow make it look OLDER! When was it a good idea to rip out TILE and replace it with CARPETING? Not your typical indoor/outdoor mind you, but 2'X2' SQUARES of carpeting! I think it also was installed with *wet-dog* smell, since the place smells funky too. But Longs, wherever you went in pharmacy heaven, you probably laughed all the way to the bank. Good for you. Now we are paying higher prices for items to cover that icky carpeting. I know, I really can't get over the carpeting. I know! (I'm not bitter) I pick up my Rx there each month, and marvel that the exact same chain made this beautiful Beauty 360 store next door. Maybe that's what justifies the higher prices. Why the 2 stars? DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ANYWHERE ELSE. JUST NOT HERE. The pharmacy here is completely mismanaged and the employees don't care. I had surgery and went to pick up pain meds. Even though the doctor called them in ahead of time, they weren't there when I arrived (even after waiting in line). They told me "20 minutes." Annoying, but whatever. So I left and came back 35 minutes later to give them some buffer. Waited 15 more minutes in line and got to the front and was told, "Sorry - they still aren't ready. You'll need to wait another 10 minutes." By now, I am in pain, still loopy from surgery and wanting to be at home in bed. Had I known it would be more than 20 minutes, I just would have gone home to begin with and sent someone back to get them. But even worse - a tiny and frail 80+ year old woman with a walker who could barely move gets to the front of the line after doing her 15 minute wait in line and she is told that her meds aren't ready either. I could hear her say to the employee with her tiny little voice, "But I called it in and it was supposed to be ready an hour ago." He told her she could wait or "go home if she wanted to." She said, "But it is getting dark and I can't drive in the dark." Still, he sent her on her way and she disappeared down an aisle. What could she do? I was furious and wanted to do something to help, but there was nothing I could do either. I complained to the supervisor on duty and the response was "I'm sorry, but I have worked here for 35 years and this is just how it is." Seriously? Well, then someone needs to re-think the staffing plans for peak hours and try to make it better. Clearly, they don't care though, so I recommend that you just skip this store altogether and go ANYWHERE BUT HERE. If you decide to go here anyway, just plan to wait a long time and expect to be treated poorly. It is just "how it is" after all. read more

Shameful customer service. Whoever is in charge at this location must be running a social experiment on the limits of human patience! I am so done with having to chase down my meds EVERY month even though... surprise! My order is the same every time... and I need them every 30 days... and they have an auto refill option... and hey I even get a pseudo helpful text saying my rx is ready.... when surprise (not!) Credit/Debt card users be advised, your magnetic strip had better be working. I loved Longs. That's where the BF would get his Rx filled. He went today to grab a couple of things while I was at Whole Foods. They couldn't read his bank card and they could NOT enter the card number manually. The only card numbers that can be entered manually are the CVS club cards. He was told that it was for his protection. Um, okay. I went in and had to wait in line for 8 minutes since no one bothered to open another register until the 5 people in line in front of me had been helped. The guy working the register called for help, but maybe the other cashiers figured it was optional. Oh and yeah, there is nothing but CVS brand and entirely Hispanic product where everything is in Spanish. I mean, not to be racist because I am Mexican, but at least half of the products in that store look like they came from the San Jose flea market. Take everyone else's word for it about the limited selection, crappy layout, etc... I would have given this less stars but I guess it's not an option. Go to Walgreens instead. read more

This review is for the pharmacy, and to be frank it's horrible. The worst I've ever used. Over the course of the last few months I've had occasion to fill four or so prescriptions here, and there has always been a problem. I've had: - Prescriptions filled hours late because they needed to call me about something but didn't get around it - Prescriptions filled hours late for no reason, just late - Prescriptions filled a full day late because I said I'd "pick it up after work today on the way home" and somehow the pharmacy tech heard "I'll pick it up tomorrow" (this one just happened today). If you're wondering why they couldn't fill it for me while I waited, the pharmacist wasn't there. Another gripe is that their consult area is right next to pickup and drop-off lines, so much for privacy I guess. This one outstanding prescription will be the last one I fill here. I'm not sure which pharmacy I'll use next, but I'm pretty sure whichever I choose will be better than this one. read more

Review only to the supervisor from yesterday around 6pm 12/26/15. It was the most awfull moment whe a the supervisor decide to reprimend her employee in fron of us, costumers. Im a manager my self, and is important to give respect and love to employees to get good work from them, when i decide to talk to the supervisor and let her know how we as costumer feel whe she is calling her employees stupid and slow, she decide to pick a fight. W/ me.. does she know there are laws for harrasment?.. prov. Not.. i only told her not to be rude to her employees . Well , the store is slow because of her. This review pertains to the pharmacy. This place, I am not kidding, is the place where customer service comes to die. I have never picked up a prescription here, even if it is supposedly ready, in under 45 minutes. Most of the time I am asked to wait and told they will either text me or page me over the intercom when they have my order. Most of the time, they do neither, and I decide to wait in the endlessly long line again, only to find that when I get to the front, my order has been sitting there, ready! Frustration central. yes they are a 24 hour pharmacy but if you can find one elsewhere, even if you have to drive a little bit to find it, it will be worth your time. read more

This place is INTERESTING, to say the least. At any given time of day, prepare to witness: -Garbage galore in the aisles (Empty soda cans, used napkins, empty chip bags, cups from Una Mas) -Products for sale that have been used (On at least 3 occasions in the cosmetics department I have seen USED false eyelashes in the package...CLEARLY USED, with eyeshadow and glue all over them...GROSS. It's so unsanitary that CVS would even accept products like that and put them back on the shelf. Pink eye, anyone?) -Crackheads and tweakers -Incompetent and slow employees -Odd attempts at "security" (I have been stared down by multiple "security guards" and one time was actually asked by a cashier as I was buying multiple items to open my purse to make sure I didn't steal anything. I would like to give a special thanks to the manager, Michael aka Mike. He was very nice. I called him on the phone asking for an in stock item on the limited edition Halloween themed hello kitties. He told me he had a few in stock and that if I wanted too, I can swing by and look for him. He also told me what time to he gets off too. My best friend & I have called multiple cvs' for them, but most of them either sold out or never received shipment. Mike went out of his way to go to the back and grab us all the hello kitties he had left in stock, wished me a happy birthday, made jokes & told us that he was happy we called before coming because it was meant to be. I really want to thank Mike for all of the hard work. Cashier was very friendly as well. Made a nice conversation with us and wished me a happy birthday as well. Review for pharmacy only. Told me it would be 20 minutes for expedited pick up when I dropped of prescription. Checked in at 30 minutes and not filled. Checked in at 50 minutes and not filled - told me they would announce once prescription was filled and it should "just a few minutes". At 75 minutes I finally go back up and surprise, surprise, they had filled it and didn't announce anything. Other reviewers are right - worst pharmacy ever. read more

I am very disappointed with the business practices of this particular location. The lines are always long and this there is never enough staff. No matter how much advance you give them to fill a prescription, it is rarely ready when you go to pick it up. Lately they have been calling me and my husband on a weekly business to try to get us to fill prescriptions that are eligible for refill. We tell them that we don't need it yet and they fill it anyway. When we complain about it, we get an attitude from the staff and they deny that they filled it without our permission. CVS, I know that you are trying to profit by filling medications like Advair and Flonaise because the reimbursement you receive is a huge money maker for your business. However this practice is terrible and you should focus more on your customers instead of trying to profit from the insurance companies. They also like to stock only CVS brands. Try buying any brand item and the shelf will be empty except for CVS brands. Perhaps you could get rid of that dirty disgusting carpet and hire some professional staff. I will be transferring my prescriptions to your competitor. read more

This is review based on the pharmacy only. I went there because I had got out of a dental procedure really late it was a horrible experience, I was in a lot of pain. They were the closest cvs to me , I got there at 8:59pm I under stand the close at 9. But they were shutting down before they were even officially closed. I asked if they could plz just fill one prescription for me and they just told me no. It was really upsetting that something they would have taken 5min that could change my whole night they just rejected it like that. I guess they don't really care about customers, people take others business for granted. Some day they will need something really bad and they will get turned away. It's called karma. Very upset with this CVS. On December 13, 2018 I was shopping with my Mother. Both of us purchased gift cards. I bought and thought activated two Starbucks card for $25.00 each and 1 Kohl's for $50.00. Looks like I got the bait and switch on the Starbucks cards. I gave both to co-workers and both were not activated. I have the activation slips and the card numbers do not match. Thank goodness the Kohl's was okay. I know it will be impossible to try and prove that he cards I have (totally different numbers) are the ones that went through checkout. Buyers beware of purchasing gift cards at that location and if you do check your activation receipts. I'm out $50.00! read more

I had the most awful experience at the pharmacy here this past week. The pharmacy should keep in mind that they are often dealing with sick customers and be MUCH more courteous and accurate with their service. My doctor's office was supposed to transfer my prescription from another CVS to this one and they forgot to do this- I learned this upon my arrival at the CVS, however, I was understanding. The tech said she'd get the prescription from the other CVS location and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. I came back 45 minutes later and talked to another tech. She couldn't find my order anywhere and she asked me if I had been to CVS before. I pointed to the tech who I had word with 45 minutes prior and she explained to the tech I was working with that my prescription was supposed to be transferred from another location. They didn't really tell me anything, just went frazzled to the fax machine and told me "we didn't receive a fax from the other location". I, with my double ear infection and awful allergies, asked then- was I going to have to wait another 30 minutes? From a distance, the tech serving me said "well, it depends on how long it takes for the other location to fax the prescription to us." She then was on the phone and then I noticed she started working with other customers. I stood there for about 10 minutes and since no one seemed to even address/notice that I was still waiting there, I went up to the technician. She was NOT clear with telling me that they were still waiting for the fax (really, CVS, you don't have software capabilities to transfer prescriptions through your computer platforms)? AWFUL service and 0 communication of clear status. She should of told me that it would likely take another 30 minutes + and that they would call me when the order was ready. However, at this point, I told the woman I could of driven to the other location and back by now... I walked out of this pharmacy in tears and swore I will never go to a CVS again. read more

If I could give this pharmacy a zero I would, this is based on the pharmacy only. Every time Cvs would call me to pick up my medicine I would go in the next day. They always tell me either "o we called you?"or "you didn't pick it up for a week or two and we put it back" The final straw was yesterday. With my insurance my medicine is suppose to be $10 each, when I went to pick it up cvs told me it is $165 because my insurance changed their policy. I called my insurance and they told me they have not changed. But the pharmacist pulled from the wrong tier not the one that covers my insurance. Do not trust anyone at the location make sure you know your insurance. If you don't know your coverage call the insurance company they can tell you. read more

If i could give negative stars i would. This store is by far the worst pharmacy i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They never have my prescriptions ready even though the automated system says they are. When i had back surgery they couldn't get my prescriptions together for two days because they said they were to busy. They have even told me my prescription was read but didn't even have it in stock. I don't really get what everyone else is saying... I love CVS. I never have had an issue with my prescriptions being ready on time, the staff is always extremely nice and helpful, and the savings you get with the club card save me a bundle every month. I especially love my cash back rewards... I get all my prescriptions and makeup here, and have never gotten less than $30 back. My last reward was about $70. I haven't noticed prices going up on items, either (at least any more then they've gone up elsewhere)... but I rarely buy anything anywhere if it's not on sale, and the sale prices here make me happy! Recently I was able to combine my club card and a coupon and score a ton of Campbell's soup for about 15 cents a can. The pharmacy department is great, helpful, and always a pleasure to interact with. If for any reason something goes wrong, they call me... I can't say this happened when it was Longs... it definitely didn't happen at Walgreens. read more

I'm an insomniac and a procrastinator. These two things don't go well together. So that's why this CVS gets an automatic three stars for being open 24/7. You see, since I procrastinate so much, this leads me to finally doing my errands at odd hours..and since there are very few places open at the obscene hours I shop, that's what makes CVS even better for being open for me. Today was the first time I discovered that they were even a 24 hour store. Everything was clean, organized and they seemed to have a large selection of just about everything one might happen to need at ...uh, 3am. Yeah... anyway! (no I'm not a meth addict) lol Staff that I encountered were few and far between but what do you expect at that hour? They were pleasant despite the fact that nobody (except me I guess?) likes to be up at that hour. She even let me use her CVS card because I couldn't find mine. The prices seem to be even better than the 24/hr Walgreen's on Winchester also. Hmm.. do I HAVE to choose?? Ah well, if you need a random item or have an emergency or something.. I sure review a lot of CVSs. Despite working across the street from this CVS, I tend to avoid it. But in my never-ending quest to use up these facacta Extra Bucks, I sometimes have to cross Campbell's Busiest Intersection(TM) and endure the Bascom CVS. So the trend in retail is, if you bring your own bag, to offer a discount and NOT BAG YOUR PURCHASE. The former has been around for decades in some circles, but the latter? I think that originated in CVS. Our kids will be telling us, "what do you mean the cashier bagged your stuff? That's not their job." Of course by then there won't be any cashiers at all. Fine. So during the past week, I've noticed this CVS has stopped bagging my stuff if I show them a bag. And I know they see it, because it isn't as if they bag it in one of their own. (This is Campbell, so they still provide free bags.) Even Andrew, who is probably their best cashier, even has gotten in on this act. I don't blame him, but it still breaks my heart. He also didn't scan my green tag because I bought only one thing with a free coupon. Sure, it's an advantage play, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't scan the green tag! Parlay that with not putting my st00pid candy bar in the bag, and you end up with a 2-star review on Yelp. The one on Leigh and Southwest Expressway isn't open 24 hours and has its own problems, but it is better than this location. read more

The staff is super friendly here, especially Rick. On my wife's birthday, I was rushing back home and left my wallet here. The staff called information in order to find me, and had it waiting when I got back. Customers get greeted by name and the feel is totally different from other big box pharmacies. One of the managers even told me, after I complained about the wait time, that she goes elsewhere to fill her prescriptions because it takes so long. Really?! Pretty sad that this place decides to charge over $15 for an eight pack of toilet paper during the coronavirus pandemic. There should be some type of law that protects people against this type of price gouging during a pandemic. Why's everyone being so down on this cvs? [ [ [ OMG, absolutely revolting carpeting, and with that cheap shelving! And I've been warning all my friends and family of the LINES!. At least it gives me a chance to inconvience those lazy pharmacists and make them ring up my groceries! ] ] ] I thought... "did this lady really admitt she makes the pharmasist ring up her groceries right after complaining about her perscriptions taking too long?!" Really though, this cvs is ALWAYS OPEN. The people working there are nice and will usually chat about something for a second and then leave you alone. I hate feeling hurried or pressured to make decesions when I'm not even in a hurry so i guess I like it better with less employees buzzing around. However during rush hours the lines do get kinda long, I hate seeing people taking it out on the cashiers tho cuz really a manager should be doing something (helping ring, scheduling better,ect). They have yummy snacks and treats (some independant brands) and a good selection of cleaning products, makeup and medicine. One specific employee I noticed was DOMINICK. On my last visit we talked for awhile about the store and working for the company and I left our conversation noting how he had given honest, interesting opinions without ever badmouthing anyone or thing. In turn it actually heightened my own opinions on certain stuff. From a customer's p.o.v. this guy stood out as being cool and I wanted to get him some brownie points if you managers ever happen to read this :) So hang in there guys. I'll keep coming. read more

I'm done with CVS Pharmacy and will transferring all my prescriptions somewhere else. The pharmacy staff is completely inflexible and sold me a drug at full price, which turned out to beunnecessary, instead of helping fine another solution. Honestly, I hate the way pharmacies have consolidated leaving consumers little choice. The topper, at CVS, are the constant soliciting outside the store. It's annoying and I feel like I need a 'No Solicitors' sign around my neck! read more

It's clean and one of the cashier fellas is pretty friendly. At night the line goes sporadic, sometimes you get in and out quick, or you'll have to wait 15 minutes because of the long line and one cashier. Good selection of beauty products, and they have the Beauty 360 in this one. read more
