I was prescribed a cream for the dark spots on my face and that would not generally be covered by…read moreinsurance. The dermatologist's office suggested this pharmacy because the cream would be a bit more affordable. The pharmacy called as soon as they received the prescription and even though insurance would cover the prescription at a much higher cost, they still checked. The cost would have been close to $300 if I went through insurance but if filled directly with Wellness, it was $90. Communication was smooth, I got regular updates via text, even an option to prepay before gong to pick up the prescription. I went by to pick up my prescription around 3pm on a weekday and there was no line and I was in and out with my cream. I removed one star because of the parking situation - I can never get parking here, I used to go to a RN in the same building and it was always bad. For the number of businesses in the building, there is very limited parking in front. You can go around the back and park in the dirt and walk up or park in the underground parking. Basically, it's a bother. Great service and people!

And to my surprise they were great! The clerk had to call my insurance and figure out all this insurance stuff, which meant long hold times and required a fair amount of patience. I think it was because it was my first visit, my medicine wasn't coming up as covered under my plan and their system. They were nice and very prompt when calling me to update me, every time something changed. They got it all sorted out and I got my prescription and was happy! I will continue to go there.

So, that's a reason to like this photo location, even though they currently only have one person who knows who to operate the machines. I've been on 3 occasions and it's the same situation. 1. Don't have any patient by that name. 2. Oh found the patient. 3. The meds aren't ready come back in a couple of hours. 4. Return: we don't have that patient. 5. Oh found the patient but your insurance is expired. 6. No it's not. Okay, wait 20 minutes for the medication to be filled. 7. 20 minutes later and still not ready. 8. Oh, we will fill now. Get back in line and it will be ready. Hours later I get the meds. Imagine the silly faces we all made when we realized the 3 Diet Dr. Peppers rang up as 3 for $13.99, when the price was advertised in the aisle as 3 for $10.99, but the in-store display advertised 3 for $9.99, and the app advertised them as 3 for $8.99, but we ended up paying 3 for $7.50. This new math is crazy! The fun began when the cashier and manager engaged in a whimsical back and forth regarding the in-store display, which they claimed was only for regular fat Dr. Pepper and not the diet version. The face I made should be a new emoji! Imagine if Huh and WTF had a baby and that baby did a face-off surgery with the confused John Travolta meme. Then, I looked online to see if we could figure out if it's 9.99 or 10.99, but the website said 8.99. The manager laughed warmly with a great smile, and by laughing warmly with a great smile, I mean that she decided to help other customers for 14 minutes. In the end, I should note the manager gave me even a further discount. And as I left, the cashier was very thorough and thoughtful to make sure I paid for my newspaper, assuming it had perhaps been refunded.
