Rules may change but, if so, they should explain it, but not blame the customers and doctor and argue about it. Do they have a responsible higher up, a "manager". Yes, but he told me he would follow up to tell my doctor what was needed and never contacted him. News alert! my doctor is busier than you are and has people's lives in his hands. Yes, you have peoples lives in your hands also, but you don't act like it. I am talking about a specific incident but it continues to happen too frequently. Same story, lack of communication and blaming the doctor! If they talk to the doctor they probably blame the patient. I also notice that getting questions answered when you have questions about how to take a medication or side effects sometimes is good sometimes not. Why should I trust it then? The current crew working in the pharmacy is doing a superb job. I had a prescription to fill and had a few issues with it, the doctor's office put the wrong birth date on it, my workers comp prescription card expired. Tina in the pharmacy took the time to call both my doctor's office and my worker's comp office, all while maintaining a great attitude and doing what seemed like a thousand other things, that girl can multi-task!! Easy on the eyes too. Tina: I expressed my appreciation while I was there but you seemed too busy to really sense the depth of my gratittude so here it is again. Thank you Tina! Management: Please treat Tina right so she stays with you. I got help from another Asian girl the night before who was amazing too but I didn't get her name. Emily the cashier was pretty nice too. They will not give you more than a 30 day supply of painkillers, even though Frank's Pharmacy has no problem doing 3 months. (When asked about this they will lie and say they can't do more because Gabapentin is a controlled substance.) Note that they will give exactly 30 days of pills and not allow you to pick them up on day 29. This is extra inconvenient because they are closed Sundays!! I am in pain every month because of the ridiculous policy. They void prescriptions after 1 year without warning, even if you still have refills. Last month I made sure everything was in order with my prescription; that it was current and that it would auto-refill. But they managed to screw me anyway and when I went in on day 30 (because they don't allow wiggle room,) they had cancelled the script because it had been in their system a year. No phone call, no warning of any kind until I found out I would once again have to go without my pain meds. This is one thing for medications like painkillers, where I am in agony without them but no worse. I simply do not feel safe bringing a prescription I cannot miss a dose of to this pharmacy: they screw things up simply too often to be trusted with something health critical - which is a terrible thing to say about a pharmacy! I wish with all my heart we had some other good local pharmacy to go to. I'm not sure what I'm going to do instead, but I do know I have lived in pain for too many days thank to the failings of Horsnyder Pharmacy!

The people who work at the counter were pleasant and helped me right away. Both pharmacist I saw were great and this last time I told the pharmacist I wasn't going straight home and since my medication need to be refrigerated would it be a huge deal. He went in the back and got me an ice pack and wrapped my meds in that. Just went that little extra mile for the customer.

So the manager and I walked back to the aisle, and she saw that the price sticker sign was in the wrong spot, BUT she gave both bottles to me for $8 anyway, even though I didn't ask her to. They are incredibly slow--it seems like they hate their jobs and take all that negativity out on their customers. They are deceitful; you show up, and nothing is ready. And I won't even get started on the fact that they could at least call or send a text message to let you know your medication is ready. On top of that, their attitude toward customers is completely unprofessional. I've only had to visit a pharmacy twice this year, and both times--based on my personal experience--were absolutely atrocious. I have since switched to a different pharmacy.
