Very unorganized and many are not properly trained. I was told they cannot access my prescription because they are out of it and it will be in within the next week. Rude, unhelpful, and seemingly transphobic. I've been picking up my HRT prescription for an estrogen capsule here for over a year now. Last week, I received a call telling me that my prescription was ready for pickup (after specifically requesting their prompted refill days before). When I arrived, they told me they were still waiting for my doctor's approval (despite the doctor sending me confirmation it was sent), and they proceeded to misgender me twice through the intersection. Keep in mind I was at the counter with long hair, makeup, a purse, and a dress! When one person at the counter looked to the other for help they said something about "his" prescription, to which I said "I'm not a he," and then not 30 seconds later they did it again! So I said louder this time "I'm not a ****ing he!" They came back and said "well YOUR CHART says male, so we weren't trying to offend you," and proceeded to say I needed to call my doctor for approval again despite the CVS system being the one that called me to tell me it was ready. I asked them then and there if they could update my name in the system, or put my name in a "preferred/nickname" field as it had just been legally changed, but they said they couldn't do that. 4 days later, after calling my doctor again and receiving another voicemail from CVS telling me it was ready for pickup, they told me the same thing AGAIN! When I told them I once again received a confirmation call, and showed them the message from my doctor saying it had been refilled, they still refused to acknowledge there might be a problem in their system, and said I had to call my doctor again. Through this second interaction, the clerk almost immediately took an attitude and got very aggressive with me, and said everyone there would lose their job if they gave me my prescription without "confirmation." I walked away and took a minute to calm down after being treated like I was the one inconveniencing them for asking them to give me the prescription THEIR SYSTEM said was ready. I came back and asked for them to look it up under my new name, or a combination of my old last name and new first name, and asked them to make sure it wasn't my insurance that was waiting on approval, and they then found the prescription sent under my old first name and new last name. They proceeded to tell me how this was the fault of me and my doctor, no one there apologized for the inconvenience or the attitude they took with me, or their lack of looking into this any further than saying "call your doctor again." Keep in mind I brought up the change of name the first time, and no one there thought to maybe look into that as a source of the issue. I no longer feel safe or comfortable going to this CVS, and I got a very strong impression that the staff treated me as poorly as they did because they were uncomfortable serving a trans person. I will be looking into transferring my prescriptions elsewhere, and will rarely, if ever, be returning to the Target the pharmacy is located inside of now that it no longer provides the convenience of a reliable pharmacy. read more

Probably the best CVS I've shopped in in several years. Newer store, super clean and organized, nice parking lot. Convenient location. Pharmacy was moderately busy and I had to wait a minute to purchase my decongestant, but no biggie. Staff was friendly. (Note: it is easier to buy a decongestant at Walgreens because the cashier doesn't need management approval.) The store manager who assisted at the main checkout was wonderful. She asked me if I was looking for anything (which I've never been asked in a CVS store) in particular. As a matter of fact, I was looking for some of the new Coca-Cola collegiate football bottles and she graciously checked back-stock to make sure there wasn't anything I wanted. I left with at least 20 coupons (yes, they are plentiful), so get that Extra Care card. Downside: not much time to use them. I tend to get coupons for make-up/vitamins so mine go unused. CVS is a lot less busy than Walgreens. Check the Sunday ads, sales, and clearance items. I always leave with way more than I intended. Recommend. read more

The techs were great. Very nice and communicated well, specifically Anne was great. On the other hand one of the pharmacists was a terrible healthcare provider lacking empathy and basic people skills. She was not helpful and extremely rude, name not worth remembering. read more
