Don't lock everything up and have assistance buttons that play a loud speaker announcement that help is needed if you aren't gonna go and help open something. Legit stood there for like 20 minutes just waiting for someone to open a case in isle 18 and pressed the button 6-7 times and no one came to help. Store was dead too. Typical CVS store. This location is close to my family's home out in the burbs. Dropped in here to pick up some toiletries I forgot to pack for the long holiday weekend. Organized and decently stocked. Found the things I needed pretty quickly. They do have a drive thru in case you just want to pick up a prescription and not leave your car. read more

Very disappointed. Attempted to call in a prescription for a patient at 1:27 before they closed for lunch and was told to call back when they reopened at 2pm and then hung up on. The need to go on break should never impact patient care, especially during working hours. Very unprofessional read more

I don't know if I'm fully vaccinated! I had my first shot at CVS in  Islip Terrace, NY on 2/21. Everything went well - no issues. Had my second shot today, 3/21 at the CVS in Centereach , NY.  After I was  painfully injected the individual administering the vaccine turned to her coworkers and said "I don't think there was any medicine in the syringe. I didn't see or feel anything when I injected her." Her coworker swore up and down she filled every syringe with the vaccine.  The person administering the vaccine stated  "If you're sure, I'm sure." Before I left I spoke with the syringe filler and asked her how would I know if I am indeed fully vaccinated. Also asked about the danger of air being injected into my arm. She swore up and down once again that every syringe was filled... Also air injected would not hurt me. Now, it's up to myself to find out if I fully vaccinated. This is unacceptable on so many levels. The public should not have to guess whether or not they are fully vaccinated during these stressful times. read more

This pharmacy is really fantastic if you enjoy huge attitudes, incompetence, and extremely long wait times (especially if your prescription is being sent over from your doctor and you need it ASAP. I've been told that can take them 2-3 hours to receive). I've had more issues here than I care to say, because it's embarrassing that I've stuck around for so long. The last straw was them losing my insurance information, and not saying anything as they charged my card the rate for not having insurance. I then had to stand there for 20 minutes, while getting extreme attitudes from the pharmacy staff, to have the charge reversed. I wouldn't even recommend this pharmacy to someone I don't like. The pharmacy never has your script, I waited on line for 20 minutes at the drive through. When It was finally my turn I was given a dirty look from the old man, 1 young girl was putting scripts away and ignored me, the other was on her cell phone. I was then told my scripts were not ready I went back the next day at 7 pm. Only had 3 out of 4 scripts, still not ready. This place is a joke. Who ever manages these stores need to get on the ball. Lastly, you get an attitude from some kid who could care less. I will be going to a different pharmacy, there are so many in the area. read more

I gave them 1 star for the following reasons - they have filled my scripts incorrectly (wrong amount of pills), forgotten to fill a script or dispense it to me along with the others scripts, taken many hours to fill scripts, had me on hold on the phone for over 20 minutes only to disconnect me and I've been on hold for over 30 minutes with no one ever answering the phone. I think those are deserving reasons. It's a shame because years ago when Emma Letts was there it was great. read more

I rate this place a Big Fat ZERO!!! Every employee is rude and very unprofessional. They Never know wtf they are doing. The women was in the middle of trying to help me and just left because her shift was over. I have never seen this in any company. You always finish with that customer. Worse part was they lost my personal papaer work. Nothing ever got resolved of it the manager called and asked.questions and says they will look Into it. It's been 2 months and still never heard back from manger. The employees give you attitude fight with you. DONT USE THIS PHARMACY! read more

BEWARE...If you don't mind waiting and waiting for your prescription to be filled, this is the place for you. Every time my doctor sends my prescription into Centereach CVS it takes the pharmacy at least 24 hours to fill it. Meanwhile, the doctor wants you to start the medication that day. When you do a refill online and the system tells you it will be ready in two hours, think again. I have waited two days before the prescription was ready to be picked up. If CVS is seeing that prescription are not being filled in a timely manner, than you should start hiring staff to account for the backlog. read more

Having a problem filling a prescription. Dropped it off May 2. They said that it couldn't be filled until May 10. I explained that the dosage had changed. The tech checked with the pharmacist, she checked and agreed. It had to be ordered and was to be in May 3. They called last night and I asked about it. She said it couldn't be filled until May 10th. Crazy! Went through explanation again! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'M NOW OUT OF THE MEDICATION. Very frustrating and potentially dangerous! read more
