They could make recommendations for common ailments and have a supply of products to assist. Terrace Apothecary is truly reminiscent of that point in time. They're not random schmos at your local Walgreens scowling at you when you ask for a recommendation on OTC medicine for migraines or noxious foot order or whatever is currently plaguing you. The staff does not change from week to week or even month to month. Mark has been around for a long time and both him and his staff are genuinely knowledgeable, courteous and are much more favorable to deal with over "pharmacy assistants" at local chain drugstores. They also can often fill your prescription while you wait, leaving you time to browse their vast selection of Chapstick and vitamins and whatnot. The only downside is that they don't accept digital scripts. D'oh.

I went in to refill a script. The young lady can barely speak English then pulled up a medication I…read morehadn't taken in years. When she finally found what I was asking for she claimed they didn't have it. I left then called asking to speak to the manager then asked him to cancel my acct for those reasons. Six months later my doctors office sent a script there in error. I called the 2 current pharmacies I'd been using, neither had the script. Called doc then called Islip Pharmacy. Yes they had it but weren't filling it because I cancelled my account-CLICK. She hung up on me!! I had been waiting 3 or 4 days now for my script the least they could've done was to call me and explain. I asked to speak to the manager she replies 'I am the manager'. I don't want someone who can barely speak English and get so much wrong to handle my needs.

I recently started using this CVS as my go to since moving to the area. It's not bad for retail or…read morefor pharmacy. I did have to wait for my prescription (rx) to be filled but they provided me with an accurate timeframe for when to expect rx filled. The stock on the shelves was consistent with other CVS stores I've been to and despite Covid-19 they even had toilet paper. Some of the associates are a bit chatty amongst themselves which is not something I care too much about. It's kind of sweet to see co-workers getting along. There are self check outs to use when you are ready to purchase.

There is a prior review from about two hours ago in regards to the same cashier who was not only extremely rude she looked miserable and upon ringing me up I had my CVS app out and I said excuse me so she could scan it because she was ripping my items without asking if I had a phone number or the app and her response was "I could scan that at any time you don't have to be nasty about it" . I was baffled at the fact that she was so unprofessional first off and second off I don't know who she thinks she is but it is literally her job to ring me up and I'm pretty sure there's also qualifications in being in customer service to be kind. I honestly think she doesn't have a place working customer service and like the prior review stating the gentleman was about to not even make his purchases I felt exactly the same. this Pharmacy is located on Brentwood Rd. Brentwood. The pharmacy cashier (with glasses and a…read morehorrible attitude) is incredibly rude; as well as the Asian pharmacist. I was unable to get their names so excuse me for their vague description. They make customers wait online while having private conversations. when stoof in front of them they ignore me for literally 2 minutes. this means no look, no response as if the customer was a ghost. or if the customer wa a child interrupting an adult conversation. once i had their attention both the pharmacist and the cashier gave me a stare of death with such a grim look in their eyes. a firm tone in their voice directing me to stand by the cashier register and wait there. After 5 minutes of waiting post directing me to stand by the cashier the cashier assisted me. The cashier rudely handed the items to me in an abrupt manner. When they say "have a good day" it actually sounds as if they were telling me off because of their tone of their voice. Their facial expression show a demeanor of disgust for being at their jobs. I would strongly recommend trainings be provided to each staff on how to better deal with customers. I feel like I was taught better at an Applebee's restaurant when I worked their as a waiter than in this pharmacy. Politeness and a smile go a long way.

Person who answered phone called Janine who said she spoke to me yesterday - no, she didn't - they were still awaiting authorization. I called my dr's office frantic. I wouldn't be able to even get out of the car when I got home from foot surgery without this equipment!!! My dr's office called another store for me, faxed over the authorizations they had & the store called me in 5 minutes. "We have everything you need, you'll have it today."
