They said their system is scheduling 8 times the amount of actual available slots. I know from friends they've had this issue here for weeks. There is always an issue at this store They seem to forget I have insurance frequently. I get texted prescriptions are ready when they're actually not. Avoid at all costs.

I was very disappointed with the service at the Costco Optical Counter when I went to pick up…read moreglasses that I had already paid for two weeks earlier. Costco had repeatedly texted me that my glasses were ready, so I came in specifically to pick them up. There was no line, and staff had time to speak with me, but I was told I would have to wait while they finished assisting another customer. I explained that I could not wait. If Costco is going to repeatedly notify customers that their glasses are ready for pickup, I believe there should be a reasonable way for someone to simply hand over glasses that have already been purchased and paid for. Customers picking up completed orders should not feel like they have become unimportant once the sale is finished. Unfortunately, that was the message I took away from my experience today: the attention was there before the purchase, but not after. I would recommend buying glasses from an optical provider that makes customers feel valued both before and after they pay.
