This is a review for the pharmacy. We live super close so we've used this pharmacy on multiple…read moreoccasions. I've never had a good experience here but I haven't had a bad enough to leave a review until today. My husband had a prescription sent over from telehealth on Sunday. He called first thing this morning to ensure it was received. It was an antibiotic and steroid that needed to be started ASAP. He was advised that they received over 55 prescriptions so understandably they couldn't give him a time of when it would be completed. However, he called again around 1pm to check on it. He was advised it had been filled and was ready for pick up. They have a CB lunch break from 1:30-2pm so around 2:15pm I waited in the drive thru line for about 20min with 3 hungry kids to pick it up. When I arrived at the window I was advised it wasn't filled and to go wait in the parking lot or swing back around (even though no one was behind me) and wait another 15min while they fill it. I asked why we were told it was ready and I was met with a short tone simply saying "he wasn't" I was irritated and asked if it would really take 15min... the response was that I needed to move along and go wait somewhere else for 15min and no one told us it was ready. I took the kids home and then went back to get the prescription. I waited for a couple cars. One took 15min at the window (I did time it, so I'm assuming they refused to wait elsewhere) the other car was just 2 min. I was able to get the prescription on my second visit. Although I was able to get what I needed this time, the interaction was short and definitely did not leave me with a desire to return. We've found another pharmacy to try for our prescriptions going forward, I don't mind driving farther for better service.

would never recommend this pharmacy, slow filling prescriptions, never on time when they are ready…read more Sometimes you have to wait days. I miss the days of RiteAid. Would not recommend at all

Pharamacy does a great job, for being as busy as they are!…read more Posted signs indicate that pharmacies are falling in line with the "remote" trend, many "standard" Rx will be filled and verified elsewhere, then sent here. Pharmacist could not find my vaccine appointment even though I had my confirmation number. She could not have been more apologetic, and I know that's a function of technology and not human error. Still, be EARLY for appointments, because they wil almost certainly be a line! And plan ahead to drop off Rx to pick up later. Be kind to staff, y'all!

Apparently, the pharmacist on duty decided she knew what was "best" for me and took it upon herself to short my prescription instead of simply filling it correctly. Good to know my doctor's instructions are apparently just optional suggestions now. For context: people don't usually take medication because it's a fun hobby. Some of us actually depend on it to function and, you know, stay alive. So thank you for turning a routine prescription pickup into a stressful scavenger hunt where I had to go elsewhere just to get the medication prescribed to me in full. The professionalism and customer service were honestly shocking. Nothing says "we care" quite like acting dismissive toward someone whose health depends on their medication. At this point, I'd probably have an easier time shopping for a casket than refilling prescriptions here. Needless to say, you've lost a loyal customer. I sincerely hope the customer service improves before someone else has to go through the same experience. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

My boss highly recommended Irwin's and I was soooo confused initially ("you're sending me to a pharmacy for food?" haha). I looked it up and made a to-go order. I ordered the philly cheesesteak with a side of ranch. I walked in and the whole place is a vibe. Even the customers in line with me were smiling and friendly. The staff was great and welcoming. The prices are soooo much better than any of the other local places I've tried. My cheesesteak was awesome- tasty and a good size. If I had a longer lunch break I'd dine-in because the place is this adorable diner-style place and clearly has a solid history in the community. The only downside to this is that now I have to admit to my boss that he was right about something (just kidding). Anyways, check it out!

When I said I was using cash, the price went up to 85 cents. I had plenty of pennies but nope, they round up no matter what. I don't think that is very fair business. Others I have gone to knock the price down to the lowest non penny denominator. They do have a very nice "fountain" with delicious limeade and some cool items for those who want to shop there. UPDATE!!! Randi from Irwin's actually called me moments after I posted the review. She explained they did in fact round up when they should have rounded down. Therefore I have changed my stars and am very impressed that they called asap and offered to reimburse the change. Thank you Irwin's.

We go here mainly for snacks, fruits, and household needs for the kitchen and bathroom. We are typically in and out pretty quickly and it never feels too busy here when we go. They had tiny bottles which were completely overpriced and high end water that was 4 times the price. Since I needed water, I bought a case of the overpriced ones cause there was a sale on the brand. I also got a case of coke which was also quite overpriced in my opinion. Since I am a loyal Costco shopper from Hawaii, I couldn't believe the prices here in VA were the same price or twice as much as Hawaii. I still looked around but couldn't find anything I needed so I got my drinks and left. When I had more time, I went to Costco and guess what? The prices were much cheaper than Sam's club and they had tons of stock of bottled water which I filled my cart with. If you have the time and membership at both, go to Costco for better deals and stock.

It's a pharmacy with basic…read morehealthcare items that also administers vaccines, located at the end of the shopping strip with the Food Lion. We normally get vaccinated on military installations, just to keep all our records in one place since we move around. However, the military doesn't seem to have a consistent inventory of the particular vaccination we are looking for, so I found the Chesapeake Rx location on the vaccines.gov. They were the only ones in our area that had the particular vaccine AND who would also administer it to children under 12 (pharmacies like Walgreens will not administer it to children under 12, so look out for that when booking appointments FYI). I scheduled an appointment in advance and the staff member was kind and answered all of my questions. The morning of, which was yesterday, however, one of their nurses called me about an hour before the appointment and notified me that the order they had placed did not come in. The supplier had shipped them a different vaccine for children. We were already on our way, so my husband and I got ours. The nurse was the same one who had called and she was super nice and very apologetic. She was very gentle in administering the vaccine as well, as I HATE needles. The process is pretty quick. You have a one page form to fill out (only top portion, then sign at the bottom) and they will submit it to the Department of Health. She was also kind enough to fax over the vaccine record to my military home clinic. She gave me the carbon copy though so I could have it and also filled out my vaccination card. Notes: - they only schedule appointments for vaccinations on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. They go up until 5:30 so you can bring them after school if time is an issue. The pharmacy is very clean and quiet. The inventory for retail items are very sparse, but probably best suited for impulse purchases while picking up your prescription. They have the small private room in the corner to administer the vaccination. She said that she would give me a call as soon as the right vaccine comes in for the kids, so looking forward to going back and getting it done! Stay safe, Friends!
