I ordered my usual, Juan's shrimp chimichanga. It also seemed that servers on staff were attentive to customers, both in-house and those waiting for takeout. Even for a smaller dining experience, it's still cozy and enjoyable. I normally have my food delivered, but decided to save a little money and pickup on my way home. However, ordering for pick-up today, it seemed chaotic upon arrival. Staff were calling orders/names, but much of the food sitting was not for anyone there. I placed my order in advance (1:41 p.m.) so it would already be done when I arrived (about a 15-minute drive), but did not receive my food until well after 2:20 p.m. This restaurant on food alone would receive 5-stars from me, but due to today's wait, I'd have to leave it at 4-stars. If I were dining-in, I would not mind waiting for the food, but for a pickup order and my family waiting in the car for an order that was supposed to be ready, it was a bit disappointing. I've seen some restaurants shut down delivery services during peak restaurant service times so they can focus on customers, or vice versa. It takes a great deal of balance to manage both sides effectively. Otherwise, I highly recommend the food!!

The blackened mahi was my hands down favorite. It was super flavorful with just the right amount of heat. My friends tried some awesome dishes too! One had the Coconut Curry Mahi (blackened mahi, jasmine rice, edamame succotash, with a rich coconut curry cream sauce) and the other had the Duck Confit Taco (with cherry salsa, pickled carrot salad, and cilantro-lime creme). It doesn't look like much on the outside but do not be fooled (as I was), they offer authentic Mexican cuisine at fair prices (a rare and dangerous combination.) I started out with a Ice cold Corona as I perused the menu options. I decided to try the burrito carne asada. This was a large burrito filled with beef (carne asada), beans, lettuce, tomato and rice and covered with melted white cheese. It came out quickly and it was delicious. I also tried the chicken tacos. They were served on two corn tortillas with a generous portion of chicken and cilantro. It was awesome.
