The people that work here are the sweetest. I'm a regular here and know the workers from coming here so much. Debbie and Ben (manager) are super helpful. Today Debbie helped me purchase items to maximize the use of my extrabucks; normally someone at the register wouldn't care about this and mindlessly would ring you up. Another time, I was taking care of wild, injured birds and needed random items (dropper, cat food, and apple sauce) to make a concoction that they could eat and a store worker ran about the store helping me look for items. This is your average, run of the mill CVS pharmacy. That is, if yours is awesome and clean and staffed by unnaturally nice people. I mostly come here for the fancy drive-thru pharmacy because I may or may not be a form of drug fiend, but I've been inside and it is always an impeccably run store. I never find products on the floor (take THAT Torrance CVS!) and there are rare occasions when there might be a line of people waiting to pay...but again, this is RARE. They even sell Ayala high school memorabilia/gear in the store. Kinda nifty. Only gripe is the suburbia hours...they could stay open a little later but I guess people round these parts go to bed with the cows. read more

This location had generally friendly staff members, and the ambience was that of a typical drugstore. Why it gets only 3 stars: The cashier allowed my friend to keep swiping her identification card through the machine so that she could buy alcohol before finally telling her, five minutes later, that he only needed to look at it..the machine wasnt working. Also, there were several items in the store that weren't marked, or had inaccurate pricing information. The friendly manager honored the lower prices, but it made me wonder what would've happened if she hadn't been there to approve that. read more

I called the pharmacy Sunday morning and we went over all my medication that needed to be refilled I gave them my phone number again. When I went to pick them up on Monday night after waiting in line for half an hour they missed to the medication and then they expected me to go back in line and wait for another half an hour! 98° out there I have my dog with me and they want me to come inside while there's a reason why go to the drive-through. I must agree with the negative comments posted here. Who is the Pharmacist in charge? The Pharmacist is the one that orders the meds., and then blames the system for not having the medication (on backorder, maybe a month, really?). There is little, to no concern for the customers' needs. There is no call if they don't have your meds., there is no admittance of negligence on their end, everything is always somebody else's mistake. I'm tired of being told "I'm sorry". That word is misused at this location, they are not sorry. The customer service is not good. It appears to be a toxic workplace, most employees show nothing but contempt. I have had meds mislabeled, lost, or just don't have any in stock, it's on backorder with no legit time of delivery (nothing I have ordered is unusual), I was told there would be notes in my file for the future, to avoid any issues (nothing is recorded). On my last order, I was again told "it was on backorder, maybe I should go somewhere else", so guess what, I absolutely will. I had called my Insurance Co. to check whether CVS even called for verification, they had not even called. This CVS is not worth my time, they win. So Jessica, I will go to Walgreens, thank you for the push out of your door. This is medication we are talking about. How sad it is to play with people's health like it was meaningless. read more

I have lived in the area for almost a year and this pharmacy is the worst! Just as another review said they seem to make up their own rules- based on who is the pharmacist for the day. Had issues getting a prescription filled because I was paying cash but they refused to take cash as I had insurance. I have done this many times with no issues but this particular pharmacist refuses. She insists my Ins does a preauthorization - which has to come from my dr- and my drs office does not do these. Call the next day - different pharmacist- medication pushed through and I paid cash. They make up the rules as they go along. I have had the same issue with Jessica twice- with her rudely hanging up and only giving me her first name. I call a different cvs that is willing to help but does not have the medication in their store. That cvs pharmacists suggests to go to Walgreens across the street from this cvs. Funny.... I did and they are great! They have treated me like a real person. I suggest you save yourself the hassle and do the same thing! read more

Pharmacy is terrible (for medication) unfortunately the one on Peyton closed (they closed the wrong one FOR SURE). There's always 10+ people waiting in line and only one person working. They're not able to handle the number of people and don't hire more staff. read more

Consider changing store hours- CVS website and yelp says it's open till 11pm but I went there at 10:45pm and after standing there outside for 5 min waving and knocking at the employees 8 feet away from me in plain sight(likely hoping I'd give up), was told they close at 10:30pm. There were at least 4 employees inside. Either they don't actually stay open till 11pm or they just don't want to because they want to close earlier. Steer clear of this one if you're trying to get in there 20 or 30 minutes before closing. read more

Awful, absolutely awful. My wife dropped off my 3 year olds prescription for an inhaler and steroid to help him with his newfound asthma, and they lost it. She dropped it off on Wednesday, we received the text that it was ready on Friday, and when I went in, I was told they had nothing for us. They have zero urgency, they had zero care for my son, and they were really just plain careless. If you texted us it was ready to pick up, you had something in your system or the prescription was pulled. The woman helping me didn't lift a finger, she didn't look, nothing!! She just looked at the computer and saw nothing I guess so she felt the need to do nothing. That's completely pathetic and really you shouldn't be in any sort of medical field if you are that careless, especially regarding a THREE YEAR OLDS HEALTH. We drop off the prescription with CVS, leaving them the responsibility of handling it and taking care of it. If they lose it, they better do everything in their power to take care of it, especially when THEY TEXT YOU TO PICK IT UP. I definitely want to be put in touch with someone higher up regarding this because it's ABSOLUTELY INSANE, my child has to struggle longer because of their incompetence, carelessness, and lack of responsibility. read more

Every time I try to give this place a chance, they go out of their way to prove me right. The pharmacy is designed to piss you off entirely so you get out of their line. Apparently, they cannot read dates on a prescription. They thought it read '14 not. '16. I asked them to verify the prescription by calling the doctor. They said this isn't the sort of thing they can resolve over the phone. (They didn't feel like it) My husband went since it was his prescription and he cannot function without it. The same pharmacist gave him the same crap. CVS you lost a customer for life. Your pharmacy staff is unhelpful and highly incompetent. My husband lost a work day because of you. read more

The store is clean and well lit, but what I don't like is that I have to call my doctor several times about an RX that CVS says that they never receive, and the doctor says said they already send it. This is our regular CVS and usually it's a decent experience - nothing spectacular but nothing awful either. However, today's service was pretty terrible. On 02/25 around 8:45PM, two older female employees were working. When we entered, they didn't even acknowledge us and just kept chatting. When we were ready to check out, they didn't acknowledge us again. We ended up utilizing self-checkout. We finished and walked out and they still didn't even look at us once. They were busy talking the entire time about how one of the ladies was "too old to be sleeping with a 45 year old." Seriously jokes of employees. I get that their jobs aren't glamorous, but they're being paid to do a job (regardless of how little that may be). Terrible service. I used to come here a lot, it was pretty good and well stocked. Came here today to buy some stuff and was sorely disappointed.. Denise, the cashier (a middle aged white woman), was extremely impatient and rude towards me when I was checking out. All I needed to do was use my coupons, and she gave me attitude. What happened to customer service? She made me feel like I was wasting her time, which I wasn't. She needs to take her NASTY 'tude back home. Cvs pharmacy is a disorganized unprofessional pharmacy. IIt doesn't deserve your business. Pharmacists provide clinical advice without qualifications. such as COVID-19 vaccine booster prohibiting based on their own, CVS, policy. They make you return to the store several times to refill am prescription. They don't coordinate dispensing several medications. They dispense a prescription today, then they contact you an hour later for another medication. They tell you come back in an hour, but medication is not even ready then. Stay away from CVS. I switched over from Walgreens after they weren't in network for my new insurance's prescription plan. It was great for about a year. Friendly people and fast service..until now. I called in to ask CVS to send in a prescription request to my doctor's office. They said they did so and it was reflected in my app. A week and a half later with no status change, I call my doctor to inquire. He said he called them and sent one in so they should have it. CVS told me they didn't. So I ask CVS again to send another refill request, and then call my doctor to confirm that he received it (which he did and said he sent it back in again). So I call CVS to confirm they received a call-in prescription from him, and they said they hadn't and to have my doctor call them because there could be a problem with my doctor's system or something. With it being a Friday I decided to wait until Monday to call my doc. After he calls the pharmacy, he calls me and informs me that the pharmacist was giving him attitude and said they had actually received both of his call-in scripts but that they didn't fill them because they didn't know when they were going to get the medication back in (a very very commonly prescribed med). So instead of giving us a straight answer instead of saying they hadn't received anything, they kept giving us the run around for whatever reason. I'm off to Sam's club Pharmacy now! read more

I asked if they can call to check and she told me no they need to wait until they come in. This place sucks!!!! I would give "0" star if they had one. I went in to fill in helium on a metallic balloon. One lady who seems to be in charge and a guy was there. I asked for the refill on the balloon, and this guy got the balloon from me and proceed to go to the tank. I walked away to next isle to do shopping while I am there. He waived me back and said that they will not fill it because it was not purchased at the store. BS!!!!! I told him that I had already filled it once at another CVS and this is my second time. I also told him that i paid $1.99 for it last time. He said that there isn't even a code for him to charge and he refused to help. I know the names of those two, but I would rather want to keep it discreet. What a couple of lazy people who doesn't want to work. Management!!!!! This pharmacy has a real problem with the female staff. I have been going to this pharmace since it opened and the last year has been horrible. The staff is rude and when I tell them about it they say I can go to another pharmacy if I don't like it here. This is horrible customer service, I think if they don't like their job then they should find a new one. Being rude and unhelpful is not the way to do business. Worst customer service ever in their pharmacy! I used to get my prescriptions filled at staters bros and never had any issues. When they closed they automatically sent all my prescriptions to this pharmacy and they have been nothing but difficult. They always misplace my prescriptions or they fill them when I don't need them and do not notify me. Then when they do notify me and i try to pick up they claim it's been there too long and was sent back ugh. Three times they have gave me a run around telling me I do not have insurance and all 3 times have been shown proof of insurance. Today my mom went to pick up my prescriptions and was told I don't have insurance. So my mom tried to just pay out of pocket and was told medical didn't allow that. Now if they are claiming I don't have insurance than what does medical have to do with anything. I call and try to get this resolved over the phone and ask them to search my social. Diana on the phone was extremely rude and said she couldn't do that. After arguing back and forth with me she asks for the last 4 of my social. ( u can't search a social with only 4 numbers smh) I tell her and of coarse she says nope nothing comes up ... I ask her to search my whole social and again she begins arguing with me and says I don't have insurance. Then proceeds to tell me tht my mom could have taken the prescriptions but she didn't want to. My mom tried to pay and this Diana would not let her. Obviously this did not get resolved tonight, but it's ok I will never use this pharmacy again. They honestly have been nothing but trouble. I will be contacting corporate asap. They really need to address this issue and by reading these reviews I see I'm not the only one having problems with them. read more

I have been. Loyal customer of CVS for almost 10 years. This is our go to neighborhood store. Today my son mad a pretty massive oral surgery and they refused to fill a prescription citing new FDA law. The female pharmacy manager went as far as telling me her computer would not process the medicine because he was h see 18. Mind you this entire time I son is groggy and mouth is full of blood sitting in the front seat. I pick up the phone, call his oral surgeon, FDA and oral to a pharmacist and CVS corporate. They were all in agreement these pharmacist failed to do their jobs consequently making my son suffer unnecessary pain in the process. I took my prescription went across the three to Walgreens and had the prescription filled without any issues. Is CVS now making laws? Do pharmacist have the ability to override medical recommendations? I think joy. The two pharmacist on staff should be ashamed for their lack of etiquette and inability to comprehend and interpret law. How about picking up the phone and contacting their manager or the FDA themselves. Completely ridiculous and out of line. Patient care should. Come first, my son has never had a pain prescribed to him. He is not at risk for opioid abuse. Not everyone is out to abuse drugs some people actually have a medical need, like my sons 3 days worth to heal from oral surgery. I am filing a complaint with your corporate office and whatever regulating company oversees your license. Did you think lying to me would get you anywhere? Came the next day 5 hours after 3 and was told unfortunately it didn't come in and they ordered it again and it will be in after 3 the next day. Well I need it tonight. Oh and now they don't have it at all don't even sell it and I need to go to a specialty store. At 8 pm at night. They could have said this yesterday or called to tell me this. Never ever going back.
