Their selection on shampoos and beauty is huge, but the prices are a little bit higher than target or Walmart. The store is pretty clean and the clerks nice. read more

The submitted my wife's medication twice so based on that the insurance company rejected because it was monthly dose and they kept on submitting it for multiple prescriptions. Something needs to be done about this Pharmacy. I, like any other person on this planet, thinks "hey let me pop into cvs and pick up my meds that are ready" And instead I stand in a line behind 5-8 people while a single person works the pharmacy system for medication pick ups. I thought it was a fluke one time that I waited 30 minutes to pick up medication. So I kept going back. And it's doesn't matter the time of day. You would think there would be no line at like 9:30pm. But no. It's always a really really long line. 30-45 minutes of waiting for a medication that is already filled is ridiculous. 2 stars instead of 1, because I don't think it's the staffs fault. They are genuinely nice people and help you when you finally get to talk to them. It's just a management or something issue. There needs to be 2 workers receiving clients, not 1. Unfortunately, I now have to transfer my medication pick up to another location. Which really sucks because this location was most convenient for me. read more

I use this location to pick up medication prescribed through my work injury. It's hit or miss on how many people are here to pick up medications. When it's busy it's busy and you can wait a long time. Other than getting medication I check out there liquor area to see if I can get any harder to find bourbon. I used to be able to get Eagle Rare, but have not had any luck in the last 2 years. read more

Super disappointed with the pharmacy today. I had my prescription sent to them from my doctor and when I arrived, I stood in line behind a gentleman waiting for his prescription. When he was called up, the pharmacist tech told me to go into the line closest to the aisle, but when I got there, someone was just walking up. Rather then let them know I was first since I was already in line, the tech allowed me to awkwardly be sidestepped while the person who came after me was helped. No biggie, I can wait. When my turn finally came, I was informed that it would take 15-20 min and advised to step to another window to confirm my insurance. Again, no problem. A pharmacist helped me get started on checking my insurance, but midway through, scurried away to do who knows what. Another pharm tech stepped in and finished it off. When 30 min pass, the pharm tech notices me still waiting and checks on my prescription only to tell me the insurance wasn't marked, so I had to wait an additional 10 min for them to fix it, and find the right medication that works under my insurance. Again, no biggie. I finally get my prescription after 50 min of waiting only to see that they're missing one of my medications. I go back to the original pharm tech, and he said it wasn't listed and to go back into another line to have them check for it. Another line and another 10 minutes later, another pharm tech got pulls up my prescription and says she doesn't see it on the list my doctor sent and informs me to call my doctor. She prints out the list and, low and behold, I see the medication she said wasn't on my list. I point it out to her, and she tells me she's "sorry she missed it" and to wait an additional 15-20 min. At this point, at least 6 other customers have come and gone. I'm in the middle of my work day and left for a quick "15-20 min wait" that ended up being almost 1.5 hours long. I had to push back 2 of my calls, and at the end of the day, couldn't afford to wait an additional 20 min for them to find my prescription. I just left and now will have to come back to have them pull me around and tell me to wait despite their multiple fuck up. Don't let the "fake" 5 star reviews fool you. It's probably employees leaving those. There's a reason there's an overwhelming amount of 1 star reviews at this place. read more

For years this store has ( I believe) suffered from deficiencies related to management and leadership. The employees are generally good to occasionally great but I suspect leadership could be affective at gaining some consistency. Employees want to do well. There is and should be an expectation that leaders do their jobs. The store is generally filthy and doesn't appear to be maintained and the message that sends to your customers is that you don't care. You can't argue with that, can you? I don't use the pharmacy so I don't have any comments on that area. Management- and I mean top management- has an obligation to do their jobs. It's not happening in this store. I wouldn't blame the local managers who do have some of the responsibility to lead, but where is anyone with real authority. Do they visit the store and lead the team? I don't see it and that means they don't care or complacency is the norm. At the very least, clean this pigsty and train the team. They're good people. They just need support from higher up levels. It would be nice to visit the Diamond Bar CVS and come away with a good impression. There's a store nearby on Valley Blvd. It's clean. So it can be done. Everyone benefits. read more

A very large CVS store and it is more than just a pharmacy. If you haven't been inside before, this place sells almost everything you will need. They have a large beauty section, food items, and what I usually go here is their seasonal section which changes during the season. They have Christmas items, Halloween, and just super cute items. Great for gift giving or getting a get well card and some small items. Overall if you are needing a few Christmas presents for co-workers I usually start here first because the packaging and different branded items are pretty good and a great deal! Also, this one has a large parking lot! The service is also really friendly! read more

I'm almost afraid to say something positive. Seems like everything's closing we lost Kmart Continental burgers excetera excetera. But it is Handy Dandy little place. It's been here for years. How do you just delete a prescription from someone's profile?? I have an RX sent last month, that i never filled because i wasn't due yet. i attempted to transfer all my prescriptions to other pharmacy. and magically my prescription was deleted with no trace of it on their end after it sat on my profile for a month. and i could see it on the CVS app. and magically poof. gone. This CVS has become incompetent. 90+% of the time, you start by waiting in line (no problem), get up to the counter, the order that I verified over the phone in advance is not filled correctly, then I am told you'll have to wait, again! . My scripts are auto refill. I refill the same scripts once a month; have for years! Each month CVS sends me a text stating my scripts are ready. I call in advance to confirm the order is accurate. I explain that there is always a problem. They blame their computer system. I then go to the store to pick them up. I hand them a list of all 10 meds! Yet, they still get it wrong. They have 8 or 9 ready, but not the correct 10. Or, they have a total of "10" meds ready, but 1 or 2 of those meds I don't take anymore, but are stuck in their computer! Then 1 or 2 of the meds that I actually do take are not there. Then they tell me "sorry" you'll have to step aside while we get the correct refill! Each time I ask what is the point calling in advance if you are going to mess the order up anyway? read more

Came here for a Covid vaccine. It was a bit hectic, but the staff remained friendly and patient with everyone. I appreciate it!!!

Came in to get a passport photo. There's only one worker behind the register, a long line, and nobody working the Photo Booth. We asked about getting the photo taken and were told that we needed to wait for the whole line to pass for assistance. When we finally get to the register, the cashier told us that we need to go stand in the Photo Booth line and proceeded to say "I didn't know you were going to get back in line." We were never informed that we needed to go to a separate area for the photos even though she clearly saw us remain standing in the line. Directions as to how we should get the photo taken and where we should go to pick it up afterwards were unclear. Overall the whole vibe of the situation wasn't positive and it felt as if the cashier did not want to be there at all. read more

There was a time I went in there and I was supposed to go visit my daughter who is USNS and that day was the day that I was going to get to see her. I was trying to hairsprays and a very rude lady came up to me and told me I needed to buy them. Wow no "testers" out? I didn't come into the store for a long time after that until the other night and then I was greeted by the most nicest ladies working the register in the store they helped me get my medical supplies they helped me smile and kept the conversation going over a candy that we both shared a liking for and it was all together a pleasant visit during this terrible virus time. Service is just "really bad". Please go somewhere else to shop. You must present driver licences to get any refunded which caused by their own mistake. What I really didn't like was the attitude of this particular cashier. He was unbelievably rude. Terrible experience, never want to go back! 1. This guy never asked the customer card or number. And he charged the full price. (He claimed laker that he did ) 2. I walked to the shelf and showed him the discount but still denying until I pin point it out. 3. I must give him my driver's license number otherwise he is not going to give me any refund. The manager came fixed the whole issue later. But I can't believe their poor customer service. read more

Larry went OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP MY MOM AND I. My 86-yr-old mother has an electric recliner. The remote control went out. After trying EVERYTHING to get a replacement as soon as possible, he let us borrow the remote from their sample chair. We were able to get one the next day. If only I could give zero stars. Every pharmacist I have encountered at all CVS's are idiots. They must recruit from the bottom of the barrel. Today they lied to me and said they were filling my prescription. After waiting 20 minutes they said it wasn't in stock. This was after my regular CVS had already called to confirm it was in stock. I drove 20 miles away to get it. When I brought that up they remembered they did have it in stock then made me wait longer to figure out how to fill it. Horrible customer service!!!! Even manager is a Dick! My first visit here, I return 2 items and I remembered I purchased them at Full Price. I wasn't sure if they went on sale since then but I didn't bother to check before going up to the Register b/c I didn't want to look suspect! The girl at the Photo Center assisted me and she said it was currently "buy one get one half off", so I said ok sure whatever. The manager comes up, and older dude, he looks at me and accepts the return. after I get about $15 back on a Money Card. I walk towards skin care and cosmetic aisles in search of a few lipsticks and cleanser. I noticed the same Items I just returned were REGULAR PRICED. So after shopping I wait in line, the girl that helped me the first time around was on the phone, so I just stood in line, and there was a lady at the reg to the left near the entrance, she turns around to look at me, so I look back at her, (I only looked at her cause she was looking at me) I was NOT expecting her to help me..as she was helping the other lady, she turns to look at me again and so what do I do? I LOOK BACK AT HER. So she proceeds to put her finger up and tells me "I AM CLOSED"... and turns back.. So im like oook wtf. Cool? So after helping her "LAST" customer she turns to look at me again and with an attitude says "Okay come here, one more customer" while moving her pointer finger for me to come towards her.. So she (GLORIA) throws my stuff down in the bag with an attitude, and I am just staring in awe at how possibly rude a person in CUSTOMER SERVICE could be... She was an older lady so she must have been having HOT flashes or something.. Moments later, a young man stands next to me and I tell him she's closed.. she looks up at him and says in a sweet voice.."No Danny I can help you, Danny come here, I can help you" She tells me he comes everyday. Which makes me believe she's biased!!! She is super sweet to the regulars but to new faces she's a bitch!! so standing next to Danny was an Indian woman with lots of cereal boxes, and here Gloria goes..in a bitter ass tone " UH I'M CLOSED" I grab my things and proceed to the next register since that woman at the Photo center was still on the phone. I asked one of the girls with the blotchy forearm tattoos, why I received a discounted price for the items I had just returned when they weren't currently on sale. She says ...well they were on sale last week. I said ..well I didn't buy them last week, so you should be giving them to me at regular price She says.. "We have to give it to u at the lowest price" I decided to leave because I knew if the manager was a dick and acted that way, then no wonder why the staff are also ignorant assholes. I gave an extra star cause the aisles were nice and clean. although the layout was quite confusing.. wall aisles were cosmetics than it skipped to skin care, than cosmetics again. I went there on Christmas morning, I'm very thankful and appreciative they opened on Christmas Day. My nose bled badly that morning, probably because of a bad cold I had, and I blew my nose harder than usual. I read on the internet that a nasal spray could temporarily stop the bleeding, but I thought I should probably check with the Pharmacist to see whether she could recommend any other remedies. Waited and finally met up with her. She seems cold and distant, not surprise it was a chilly morning and I presume no one really want to work on Christmas day if they could help it. She just said nasal spray is only good for congestion not for nose bleeding and she's not able to help, she then left without even looking at me. Letting me stand there looking like a helpless idiot! Called pharmacy cause my child was at local ER. Trying to expedite medications so that he wouldn't be in pain any longer than needed. Was on hold forever just to verify if they received order via fax. Pharmacist hard to understand, had to repeat myself. Wasn't at all helpful, needless to say not going to visit this location. I have been coming to this pharmacy since I was 4. Despite the fact I no longer live in the area, I deliberately make an effort to get my prescriptions filled here because of the great service I usually have. Today, I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered! Many of the staff had an attitude, were horrendously rude, and there was even an argument between the staff that occurred while I was waiting for my prescription. When I spoke to the manager, he showed little concern for what happened. I am very upset as to what has happened to this pharmacy! It is so sad that sick patients who are terminally ill, people in pain and discomfort, and even exhausted people who are down with the cold or flu have to go through the horrible experience here in order to get the medication they need! I remember being deadly sick with the flu and wondering where would be open so that I could get some OTC medicine. Everywhere I searched was closed except for CVS. When I got there and asked where the medicine was, the staff directly walked me and explained which medicine was for what. I was truly touched that they cared for their customers to that extent. Since then, I have always been coming here whether it be for medicine, candy or any snacks that I am craving. I am always thankful to be treated like a valuable customer to them. read more
