Incompetent. I got a prescription from my doctor for a medication and my usual pharmacy had run out. I called this CVS and after 5 minutes of hold music, I asked if they had it in stock. The gentleman that answered said. "I can't tell you that. You need to bring in the prescription". After arguing with the guy about not want to waste my time driving up there if he didn't have it in stock, he asked me what mgs it was and without checking, said, "we don't carry it in those mgs" (even though it is practically standard with this medication). Later on while bitching to a friend about it, she said, "What? I get the same prescription for the same mgs filled there all the time". Seriously? The guy was so lazy, he didn't even feel like checking and just wanted to get me off the phone. I get 6 scripts filled a month and was really considering transferring them to CVS. Thank you for making my decision to go with Walgreens easy. read more

For Pharmacy Dept; The pharmacists are some the rudest people I've encountered in the CVS. More specifically the younger pharmacists tend to be very rude and condescending. I understand working with people can be tough but I honestly come in with the kindest demeanor and I feel like they take advantage of that. Please learn to be polite and considerate to all kinds of people, CVS. read more

Overall this CVS is okay. I realized if you have MFC and printed ECB's you need to really make sure they have gone through. Twice I have gone in to this location and some had "supposedly not scanned properly" and luckily I checked before paying because I knew what my OOP would be and realized it was off. They are nice and friendly which helps at least but just be careful if you're trying to save money. read more

I'm giving two of the Pharmacy folks 4 stars, noting these are the only two Pharmacy professionals at this location that are professional, helpful, and show genuine care: Pharmacist James Perry and Brenda Rosales. When either or both are working at CVS on Chino Hills Pkwy, I'm happy. If they aren't there, I leave and chose to return when they are there. read more

This pharmacy is the absolute worst. They are slow, never get info correct, are out of stock, communication is poor. I avoid when i can.

ZERO star , but the system is making me put at least one star. Not deserving of that one star. One star represent that there was an attempt to provide Service. I had outpatient surgery ( cut into the body and stitches, the whole 9 yards- severe pain ) this reason the surgeon prescribed me heavy duty pain meds, being that it's a controlled substance I understand that it's not readily stocked. I went 2 other pharmacy's close to my house , however the soonest they would have it stocked would be 2-3 days, my tolerance for pain is pretty high but I was feeling pain level nearing 10. I finally went to this CVS pharmacy . I waited inline , Karen , pharmacist on her name treated me like I was just a number . A lot of back and forth , but most insulting she told me she didn't have time? Your a healthcare provider , that's your job to make time for your patients. I asked to speak with her supervisor , her name Jessica S. , better, but same nonchalant I'm busy can't attitude. Treated me like I was a drug addict. Sure , there are true cases of abuse, but shouldn't be so jaded - treat each patient individually versus a broad stroke. More compassion and sensitivity training. Come to find out I was flagged by the pharmacy . I wasn't provided my rights to review in a private setting which is in their standard operations process . My surgeon called the pharmacy as she was appalled by their treatment , my surgeon told me do not go back there, never in her medical profession faced with that type of behavior . If Corporate needs to fill bodies , please reconsider as their years in school may have given them a license to dispense meds, but looks like they failed their human kindness and compassion class read more

How sad that this CVS has such poor overall ratings. I do understand however why. Don't get me wrong there have been great people here but the service is not consistent and sometimes poor. The lady that helped me at the drive through window which the way didn't open at 08am as stated as hours of operation for today. She didn't apologize but did her play dumb look that she did when she made an error with me once before. Come on CVS, who's driving This? I've been tempted to jump the fence to Walgreens. read more

This place is great! Always have decent prices and sometimes there are items on sale for really good prices! I've won some good money out of that Lotto machine too ;) also, they don't have cigarettes here anymore. It's their new way of saying, "Quit" but they do however have nicotine gum for about $60 bucks... This place has a redbox outside too for movies and has a pharmacy, and a drive through one too..What more can you ask for?... A del taco next door maybe? read more

This is the worst cvs ever! They don't always honor advertised deals if you have coupons. What's the point of having coupons if they cancel out a cvs deal? I believe what they're doing is called FALSE ADVERTISING. Also, the person we spoke to was completely not understanding and seemed like he was too lazy to help us figure out why the advertised deal didn't go through. Advice for this cvs: stop making up rules and honor your own advertised deals. read more

This is a convenient location when running errands. The lines are always short and staff are always friendly. I like the large parking lot.

I have had very good experiences with CVS pharmacy. They always send a text when my Dads prescriptions are ready or if they need doctor to authorize again. They are always Very helpful & polite. Waits are usually less then 10 minutes if at all. read more

This is just your basic CVS Pharmacy. It has a drive thru pick up for the pharmacy which is nice and convenient. The inside isn't bad. Like I said. Just a basic CVS. I've never had any issues when coming here. All the employees I've interacted with have been helpful and polite! read more

A couple Fridays ago I called this CVS Pharmacy to fill a prescription for me that was normally out of network and super difficult to get filled and they did an outstanding job! I called and spoke to a guy named Michael. He literally went above and beyond to help me with my medications! He's actually the reason I added this business, he was so great. I guess Kaiser's pharmacy personnel went on a work strike and there was no pharmacy in my area with the hours i needed to be able to fill my prescription. Michael and I played phone tag for quite a while trying to piece together how we could make it work. He even looked into another pharmacy for me and called to see if they could do it and priced it so I could compare! Although my medications cost a little more at the that CVS I will definitely go there if something urgent comes up again. On another note, I brought my child there to get her vaccinations for school next year and they treated us great. The pharmacist that administered the shot was calm and patient and had a nice hand. All in all this is the best pharmacy I've ever been to! Thanx guys! read more

Theres too many good things to say about this place! This CVS location is great with great stuff! This is where I get all my prescriptions and medicine. Big store with tons of candy, ice cream, soda, you name it. Prescriptions are always correct and on time. They even have a drive-thru at the pharmacy which is super convenient! Prescriptions are always correct and right on time when I get there. Pharmacists are super friendly and helpful. Need I say more? read more

I am in the midst of a CVS nightmare. I bought my nephew a $50 Shell gas card for Christmas, which he attempted to use. It had $0 on it. I contacted CVS in late December and was told it would take 10 days to investigate. Finally, I heard from CVS on Jan 16, saying they needed more info. Not only had they copied down the wrong account number I gave them in December, they said they would have to investigate further. They acknowledge the transaction but are not resolving it. Horrible customer service. I would caution anyone against buying gift cards at this CVS. Somebody pocketed $50. read more

Love this place when it comes to cashing my lottery tickets. I usually walk in with a handful of scratcher tickets and the staff here is really patience with scanning each and everyone of them. I am so frustrated with this pharmacy. There is no communication at all. I had two prescriptions to refill. I called them in on Thursday am. I chose to pick them up Friday at 4 pm. I didn't get there until today Monday. 4 days. I arrive tell them I have two prescriptions to pick up. They have no prescription for me. He looks it up and says "oh looks like there is a hold up on one of the prescriptions from the insurance company". Why do I have to go in there to find this out? When I was with Savon, Rite Aid or Kaiser, they would call or text you there is a problem and to call them. This is the third time this has happened to me. I ask how long for the prescription that is approved. They say an hour. I called 4 days ago and now have to wait an hour for the prescription to be filled. Told him I would come back. I call cvs my insurance carrier for prescriptions. They tell me I have to have a 90 day refill. I told them I do. Last refill in March was 90 days. Oh he says they entered 30 days. I said I had the same issue the last two times and my doctor called and changed it to 90 days. So frustrated and I can't leave cvs because they are the insurance carrier. I hope management reads this. Better communication. Better administration. This pharmacy is a mess. 3 times and the same issue??????? read more

I come through the CVS pharmacy on a regular basis. Generally everyone is very nice. No real wow factor.

This particular CVS needs major overhaul! They seem to have twice the number of employees working there (compared to the CVS at Target on Grand Ave), but yet their lines are usually long and slow. When you ask them to do something for a prescription, you find out later that it isn't done. Your request goes in one ear and out the other. read more

I visited this CVS today to pick up my wife's prescription after she'd just been discharged from the hospital. I have never experienced such bad customer service experience in my life, starting from the pharmacist and worst with the pharmacy technician. This CVS pharmacy is very under staffed and incompetent. A while back, I was in the process of completing a purchase at the check and had a question about the price of a product. The store manager went to check the price. I was left at stranded at the check out station for at least 10 minutes. This is a task that should have only taken 2-3 minutes. On another occasion, I noticed the price of a product was mislabeled. I brought this to the attention of the store manager and he looked at the product price for about 10 seconds and couldn't say anything about it. The other day, my mother while at the checkout had a question about the price of a product. The store manager went to check the price and also left her stranded for at least 10 minutes. She was very angry and upset. I have since taken my business across the street to Walgreens. They are kind and courteous, very good customer service. read more

The store customer service is good, but the pharmacy customer service could be better. Several times I have dropped off a prescription advising them I'll be back in a few hours, come back the next day and still not filled simply because it was overlooked. This has happened to me at least 3 times. Also, some of the pharmacy techs lack some customer service tact. But the pharmacist himself, is a courteous and knowledgeable person. read more
