It's official and I am done with this pharmacy! Meds are almost NEVER ready in a timely manner. Today they told me they never recieved the script from the doctor, yet the doctors office told me they confirmed that they (cvs) recieved it before I even got there. You can't even get a person on the phone...You can leave a message and someone will get back to you in about an hour, they claim. What kind of way is that to do business? As if CVS didn't suck before!! Now they do not answer the phone anymore you have to leave a message and if they feel like it.... They may or may not call you back and.... it may take weeks or months. Try to get a refill on a prescription. They refilled the wrong prescription. I couldn't get them on the phone so I had to drive there. Sit in the drive-through and ask the girl questions who was on the phone who would ask the pharmacist for the answer who sounded like they didn't really want to be bothered answering the questions. Not only did they have the wrong prescription. They had the wrong doctor listed as prescriber, it's a shame these conglomerates take over and treat us like crap!!!!!!! the only person that works in the CVS who is a five star employee is Victor. read more

Slow to fill a prescription called in days ago, then just shrug idiotically when it's not in stock. Not in stock??? This is a medication I've taken for over 5 years that gets reupped every 30 days that I get from this same location. Yet once again... It's out of stock bc this is a sloppily run CVS who can't do basic ordering 101 via inventory. They provide zero accountability to customers and cannot do the basics. Smithtown, NY on Main St. unpleasant experience with Pharmacist (Diana) and support staff. This is NOT your friendly next door pharmacy. This group has zero intention to establish good relations with the community members they serve. I Strongly recommend you go next door to Walgreens or the # of options within a stone's throw. I like this CVS because the pharmacy staff is always friendly and professional. They keep making sure that my mother's prescriptions are updated and renewed regularly. The store is clean and well stocked. Prices are reasonable and with the CVS rewards coupons, you can get some really good deals. read more

Pharmacy and stuff. CVS has all the daily things you need to get clean, shiny and smelling good: soap, shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste. They also have food and assorted other stuff but those are the basic reasons I use CVS. I needed a prescription filled and this location was handy so I popped in. The pharmacy guys were extremely helpful and had the whole thing processed in record time. I was able to do a little shopping, come back, grab my stuff and get out. The pharmacy people were more than helpful to work up my new insurance information and took a few extra minutes to do whatever they do back there. All in all a great experience - plus this place seems rather new, so it is spotless. They also have a drive through prescription pick up if you are just too lazy to walk in - or are squeamish about picking up your STD meds in front of other people.... (NO, not me!) I needed a prescription filled for a narcotic. I understand that these things are sensitive and have a lot of red tape. But, after I jump through all the hoops to get cleared- don't tell me you're out of it, and that you're going to order it soon. On top of that, the pharmacy was rude to me and my doctor. This CVS is great, they are very well stocked and organized. For most of your general needs, as well as things like school supplies, magazine, games and toys. Sometimes the front register is a little under staffed with one person shuffling between the main register and the photo processing center. But since the place is never that busy, it's never a big deal. The pharmacy has been through it's ups and downs as far as the people working there. The current pharmacist and team are great. They are quick and courteous. When waiting for my prescriptions, you can see the care and respect they give to the elderly customers. It's good to see. read more

The pharmacy is ALEAYS sooooo helpful! They will always go that extra step in case there's an issue with either the doctor or the insurance (which there ALWAYS seems to be). They'll always cal/fax or do whatever they have to do to get the job done. The young blonde girl that is the pharmacy tech is SOOOOOO HELPFUL. As well as the younger girl at the register with the black rimmed glasses. Very good spot! read more

I am not sure if the other reviewers have actually been in this particular CVS, because this is a dump. This CVS branch is run down. The carpet is stained and they don't have a well stocked inventory. This location is in a state of neglect. I dropped off a prescription to be filled. They told me to come back the next day, it wasn't in and no one from the store called me to let me it was going to be delayed. When the script did arrive two days later (yes two days!) , I asked them if it was refrigerated and they told me it was. This med must be refrigerated or it will go bad quickly. When I felt the package was clearly room temperature. When I questioned them, they told me it wasn't refrigerated. (What the???) Was it or wasn't it? The pharmacist was backpedaling. In addition, the CVS form generated by the pharmacy indicated the medication would expire in Feb 2013, but the bottom of the package stated July 2012. This is dangerous. Order Xmas photo cards this morning online. Cards were supposed to be ready by 1pm. Went to the store at 4pm and was told that they ran out of photo paper two weeks ago. You would think that out of courtesy since they had my email address and phone number that they would reach out to me to advise me of the situation. I wasn't the only one that was impacted by this inconvenience. Next time CVS... Email/call the customer!!! read more

I live right down the block from this CVS, but changed to the one at 82 W. Main street. They never have my prescription meds in stock and are not helpful or sympathetic. I needed pain meds after surgery and told me to come back in 3 days! They wouldn't even call another CVS to help me out....even though I've been going to them for more than 10 years. read more

Friendly staff, very helpful and the store is always well stocked. I also like the rewards discounts.
