Ok, now I hate this store and every other store which has been body-snatched by CVS. No more tchochkes, lots and lots of the unusual food items gone, all the sale stuff that used to be stacked in front gone, plants, all gone, gone, gone. But prices are up, up, up. You may as well shop at 7-11 for stuff. They have the same minimal selection and the same sky-hi prices. Poor Longs, we'll miss you. CVS, go back to where you came from! read more

After being a Safeway pharmacy girl for years, CVS is a revelation! They do so many things better than Safeway, like page you on the intercom when your 'scrip is ready, instead of having to check back at the counter every 5 mins. In fact, it took them less than 5 mins to fill my prescription...I was happily blown away, and changed all my prescriptions over to them on the spot. Never again will I have to roam the aisles of Safeway waiting for them grab a box of pills for me. I'm a CVS convert as of today. read more

I don't have negative feelings about this place like a lot of reviews tend to. It's a chain drug store close to my house with a great parking situation. I've filled my prescriptions here out of convenience, and they have them ready to go within minutes typically. read more

Typical drugstore--not very spectacular. The little old ladies who live around the corner all come here so they have a good selection of medical stuff and cosmetics and plants. The parking lot can get chaotic so watch out. read more

first time ever trying to return something here after frequenting this location for 3 years, and they hassle me about having cut off the tag. I returned a cane. The tag was zip-tied to the shaft of the cane when I first bought it. of course I had cut off the tag, used it for a couple of days, found it not to my liking and returned it with the tag and receipt. They ended up taking the return but not without grumbling about how they didn't have a way to attach the tag back to the cane. After telling the cashier that I have several bags of zip-ties -- at about 100/bag -- at home and that I guess I should've used one to put the tag back on for them, she replied 'yes, you *should have* but you didn't, did you?' ... anyway, she completed the return, but not without making me want to avoid this place like the plague going forward. cvs, news-flash, just checked amazon and 100 zip-ties are only $3.22... and since you're a major retailer, I imagine that you could get them for significantly cheaper at wholesale. just say'n. read more

A note to CVS: Give me my Long's back!!!! I don't like the way they discount. I don't want another card in my wallet or company having my phone number. The pharmacy is awful. The new employees are underpaid robots with bad attitudes. Remodeling was a mistake and makes the store look trashy. Yes, I am upset CVS took away Long's. I don't see how they will ever make it in this area...but I know I will be wrong, unfortunately. Target here I come. read more

This is a normal CVS. Nothing out of the ordinary positively or negatively. They did fill my prescription very quickly. But the shelves seemed rather empty and the pharmacist was rather short with me. But he was also quick about filling my drugs. I'll probably be back but won't go out of my way. read more

Joey's definitely a fresh addition to the staff here! He's very helpful and patient with us as we bought several items in 6 different transactions ( plus 3 women talking to him at the same time!) As far as pharmacies go, this is a good one. But as a store goes, this one blows. Every time I've gone they always seem so understaffed and the lines are longer than they should be. They're not the best at keeping their shelves stocked, but when they are stocked they have a pretty good selection of things from makeup to skin care to snacks. read more

I don't usually go to this location, but I came today because the Clayton store didn't have my item in stock. My experience was brief but very pleasant! I was immediately greeted by one of the staff members and she asked me if they can help me find anything. I told her the cosmetics brand I was looking for and she showed me the section, and said to let them know if I had any other questions. I found my item, but didn't see the color I wanted. I asked the same associate if they might happen to have more in the back. She led me to a promo display with more of the item, and we found my color! Checkout was smooth and the cashier was friendly as well. Overall, I was very pleased with my quick stop here! I wish I caught that first woman's name, but she was slightly older and had dark straight shoulder length hair and was very nice, her service for my simple visit was so exemplary I simply had to write a review! read more

The staff is rude and so is some of the managers. They seem to think that customer service is a nasty chore. I had bought something that didn't work out for me. I asked if I could still return it if I didn't have my receipt but had bought it on my CVS card. I was told that I could, and that was it. Never bring your ID or anything like that. Well, my husband tried to return it and let's just say that the older woman didn't seem to believe that he bought it due to his skin color and tattoos. I had to go in and spoke to a manager who took care of my and was nice. I got a cash card and bought some cigarettes for my husband on it. A few days later I went in to use the rest of the card and had a almost $4 balance left on my card. I asked the lady what the cheapest cigarettes where and she looked at my pregnant belly and told me that she would not sell to me because I can't use the cash card for that. I asked to speak to a manager who was some girl, and said the same thing. I called corporate and they said that policy is they have to side with the manager.....WOW! The DM tried to call me a few days later, but at this point I'm so done. Gone are the days of the customer being right, or even wanting your business. Run far, far away from this store!!! read more

I came to this store because it was close. But I am thoroughly annoyed at how every CVS I have been to has had such a slow checkout. Typically due to slow checkers or a lack of checkers. Other than that, the store is fine. read more

Horrible customer service. I have never been to a place where half the stock was missing. Asking someone for help forget it!!!!. I asked one person for help and I swear she was under the influence of alcohol because of the smell and the way she was acting her name was Mercedes. I complained to the store manager and he laughed, seriously he laughed and said he would talk to her! are you kidding me!!! read more

I love love love this store. The people that work there are so friendly and helpful. They have a reward program that is fantastic. I never shop at Walgreens anymore, because this store is 100% better. Sometimes the check out can be complicated and their cashiers do a great job of making it all work. read more

See I first thought CVS was going to be a complete 180, but they are actually well organized than Longs. I like going here because the items are not scattered all over the place the the other one. Yeah sure you may be used to where items are placed, but then again this is CVS and not Longs, so Yes things will be different. I feel that the people are so much nicer and friendlier. I have been customer for years and go to this CVS on Treat in Concord and the one on Broadway in Walnut Creek. I have never had a problem with employees asking me for help when I don't need it ' or seeming to follow me around. I don't steal so I don't have a problem with. This employee who work there name Christina was the one who followed me around and cashier when I paid for my purchases. In cash and had a receipt. When I left to go outside this Black female security guard came up to me to say she got a call that I was in the store stealing. I never stole anything ever. This Is grossly unprofessional for CVS employees to approach paying customers with stealing when they have no bags and only they purse with 3 items I bought in it. I am pissed off because I am Black this employee called security. She would looked stupid because it wasn't but 3 items I bought in it. I really thought she got me mixed up with someone else. Is CVS too cheap for surveillance cameras. So you can zoom in and actually catch the people who really do steal and not some incompetent employee who watch the wrong people read more
