The dude and I came to this CVS Pharmancy on Christmas Day 2021 as he needed last minute gifts for his little cousins. We were surprised how fully stocked this place was especially on Christmas Day! Their holiday aisle was still fully loaded! They had plethora of awesome gifts available and even alcohol gifts. The dude and I were so tempted to get their Kahlúa gift set as it was literally only $20 which is a steal in my opinion! Wish we snagged it. It was pretty busy inside and they were totally enforcing their MASK policy. So wear one or they can't ring you up. I heard staff say that to a few customers which I think they just forgot to put it on. The store was clean, organized and staff was friendly. I always sign up for any awards program as you get deals! I had so many coupons here for CVS but left them at the hotel :( ugh but that's okay. The lines were long but it moved fast. We did but Trulys here which they were decently priced no complaints. Overall, love CVS in my opinion they have better selections of items than their competitors Walgreens. Would definitely be back. Oh yah! Staff was friendly and warm. I have been using this pharmacy since I moved to Concord in 2019. Since then I've seen dozens of pharmacy workers come and go. And the current CVS pharmacy staff sweating their asses off to fur-fill orders. I see their gates being protected like Mama Bears before their shut down between 1:30-2:00 p.m. Let's also mention their cash registers. They're constantly locking up at the pharmacy and if you haven't happen to you at least once in the last one month, well you're not part of the club. read more

If I could give this CVS location a negative zero I would. There's a good reason why this location has 2.2 star rating. It's quite alarming. My first, and last time doing business with this location. At first, Vanessa the store Manager seems to be kind, and helpful. I've attempted to contact her numerous times without any response. Eventually, she gets around to returning your call Several days later. With many excuses behind the incompetence. I discussed with her in great detail the importance of photos I needed for my terminal ill brother. She seemed sympathetic, and helped me through difficulties of the restrictions of her printing machine. We printed several different images. Non of them were satisfactory good enough to display for her and I. She requested I return late the next day in order for her to accommodate her door dash customers. Upon my arrival 11:00 pm. She ran around for several hours helping other customers while I was waiting for her assistance as agreed. Unfortunately, she sent me home due to the store closing. Instead she requested I order online. I returned the next day to pick up the prints. Vanessa, had left for the day. Trent her Assistant Manager had no knowledge whatsoever of our several previous conversations. He was EXTREMELY rude, condescending and proceeded to embarrass me in front of his employees, and several customers. Trent, contacted Vanessa at home, to fill in the details. Apparently, her instructions to Trent were inappropriate and unacceptable. She made things much worse than it should've been. I in turn became irate and frustrated with the accusations, and the whole situation. For these, and many reasons. I'll be contacting her District Manager, and file a formal complaint with the Corporate Office against Vanessa, and Trent for the unnecessary, and inappropriate conduct of both employees. both employees needs additional training how to treat a customer with respect, and retain a repeat customer. I strongly suggest you take your business to another location to avoid getting accused of ANY wrongdoing in their store. For the record. Vanessa the Store Manager cannot be trusted. read more

Avoid at all costs--dangerously incompetent and lazy If I could give this pharmacy negative stars, I would. Dealing with the people at the register have been a nightmare from start to finish. Every visit feels like rolling the dice on whether they'll actually get your prescription right and spoiler alert, they rarely do. I'm pregnant and dependent on medications like insulin and glucose monitors, and this pharmacy has repeatedly failed me: wrong needles, wrong meters, missing insulin all while acting like it's somehow my problem. I've had to go back three times just to get the correct supplies. Most recently, they completely botched a crucial hypothyroidism prescription. My doctor's office confirmed it was sent to the pharmacy. When I went down in person, they told me it never existed in their system and told me to "call the doctor." However in calling the Dr. they confirmed the pharmacist sent confirmation of prescription that morning! And thanks to their AI phone system, you can't actually speak to a human, so the only way to even start fixing their mistakes is to drive down, only to be met with the same laziness and apathy. They push people aside when the line gets long, refuse to take responsibility for errors, and seem incapable of basic pharmacy competence. This isn't just frustrating, it's unsafe. If you depend on your medication and don't want to be treated like an inconvenience, go anywhere else. This place is a hazard to anyone who actually relies on their prescriptions. read more

Terrible service!! I would give them 0 stars if I could. I waited 6 hours for a prescription. Called twice to find out status of prescription. Was told both times that prescription was not ready and that I would receive a text once it was ready. I finally decided to just go and see what was happening with my prescription, only to find out it had been ready 30min after my doctor had called it in. read more

Service at the pharmacy. I went over to switch my prescriptions from the other Clayton pharmacy cause this one was closer. I waited in line over a half an hour with only two people ahead of me. Two pharmacist are in the back, working chatting it up ignoring the poor tech in the front. The computer at the register craps out stop working for some reason the text starts smacking it around like that's gonna fix it. She takes the lady stuff and move to the other register. Text message sent 3 days prior that my RX are ready- arrive to pick them up- and nothing!!! Had to wait for almost an hour extra for the meds. And to make it worse- the staff (Shirley) was aggressive & short. Stating over & over- that they are doing a million things at once! Their lack of employees should not be taken out on customers. Three different doctors offices sent me prescription, they sent in prescription and said the pharmacy confirmed to receiving the order. Two days later, none of the prescriptions are still ready. This isn't even in a crime ridden area at all and the $5 toothpaste was behind a locked cabinet so I had to ring a bell, then wait and eventually about 5 minutes go by and had to find someone to come open it. They didn't have any bar soap at all so I didn't get that. What a ridiculous store. I'll either go to target next time or buy Amazon. No more CVS. I already switched my prescriptions over to Amazon. I went to CVS tonight because I was shopping for an Instacart order. There was only 1 item to shop for, so it should have taken me all of 5 minutes to get the item, and then check out. I don't know how many people are aware of this, but Instacart times their shoppers from start to finish. I was allotted 7 minutes to shop for this order, but it ended up taking me about 15 minutes. CVS locks up certain items and I just happened to be shopping for one of those items. I pushed the buzzer and the loudspeaker announced, "Help needed in the digestive section." I waited for someone to come but no one came. So I pushed the buzzer again, and again a message came over the loudspeaker. After pushing the button 3 more times, I finally walked down to the end of the aisle and yelled loudly "Is there anyone working in this store?" No response so I went back and pushed the button 3 times in a row. Still no response. I pushed it again 3 times in a row. Again, no response. So I went to the middle of the store and yelled "Is there anyone working in this store? Anyone at all?" Still no response, so I went back and pushed the button 4 times in a row. I figured if I was annoying enough, someone would come and help me sooner or later. If it was just for me, I would have left long before this, but it was an Instacart order so I didn't have the option to just leave. Finally, an employee came and he told me that he was the only employee working because everyone else was on a break. He got my item for me and then I went to meet him back up front, where he had 2 customers waiting in line already. This is very irresponsible of CVS to send everyone except one person on a break. It is disrespectful to the customers and makes it difficult for the employee to help everyone. If you are going to lock up your products then at least have someone available to help your customers. I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this store manager, Venessa Ochoa. I waited patiently at a closed lane to ask a quick question, but she rudely told me to wait in line--despite having a "closed lane" placard on the register. To make things worse, she then proceeded to help the next person in line from the adjacent register, which made no sense. She continued to tell me misinformation. I simply told her STOP TALKING ME. Thankfully, I patiently waited to gather my thoughts and the cashier next to her was helpful, pointed me in the right direction, and provided the contact information that is at the front of the store regarding her name. My sons doctor ordered an inhaler for him. When I went to pick it up the cost was over $200. pharmacist argued with me about it being on the formulary but that was my deductible. I don't have a deductible. My insurance agreed the medicine is not on the formulary and he should be recommending an alternative that is on the formulary. He argued with me so much and it was getting late so I decided to pay it and take it up with my insurance. I've filed a grievance and hope to get reimbursed. But I worry this pharmacist is doing this to other people that may not advocate for themselves. read more

The worst! Last week I made an appointment for my second HepB vaccine, and when I got here at CVS Treat Blvd., they told me that I was two days early for it. I totally understand the policy. They told me to come back next time, anytime, and they'll accommodate me even without an appointment. Well, I did today, a week after, and this lady at the counter, who was not accommodating at all with her attitude, told me, "We're busy now; come back next time!" How rude!?! I stayed for like 10 minutes and watched her. She was not busy at all. Great! By the way, she's the pharmacist named Kim! I like the CVS store, and their staff are super nice and friendly, but not the pharmacy, their pharmacist, to be specific. I always go to this CVS pharmacy because it's the closest to where I live. Some of their pharmacy staff are so helpful except for Shirley. Shirley doesn't have a good customer service skill. She needs to learn how to listen to customers. She cannot talk all the time while the customer is talking. This happened more than once. This CVS completely let me down, not only were they out of everything I needed but the customer service provided to me to assist me finding alternative items was absolutely awful. I was shocked to find out the CVS was out of multiple essential items. It's incredibly frustrating and inconvenient especially when relying on them for specific products. The lack of inventory management and restocking left me disappointed and questioning their ability to meet customer needs. The fact that they were out of items that I needed, combined with unhelpful customer service, made it clear that they do not prioritize customer satisfaction. visited this CVS pharmacy today as I do shop here periodically. There were two new ladies working who I had never seen before, both seemed like managers. Both of the checkstand's were closed and they were directing everyone to the self check out. Several people left the store because of it and when I asked if they were closing the checkout lanes, she did not even look at me and very condescending said no. Of course, when my items did not scan, she had to say three separate times. " Oh, it's only popcorn. This never happens." They were continually using almost scripted, kind verbiage, but never looking anyone in the eye, almost like they were trying to make everything look perfect when in reality, they were changing everything in that store by not allowing the checkstand to be open. I thought it was just me, but when I saw people leaving, I realized something was wrong here. Horrible customer service. They do not tell you can't return items. I went to go return a blender with a receipt and the manager said they don't accept returns. My receipt says I can return thru 8/7/202 I called customer service and they said the store should accept my return. I asked the pharmacy if they had any clariton-d on August 26th at 1:30 pm. They said they did but they close at 2:00 pm and didn't have time to help me. The stores not bad, most of the clerks are nice. But the pharmacy is horrible. They always try to tell me I don't have insurance. I actually have excellent insurance. Then they tell me they can't find me because my name is spelled wrong. I've give them my correct name 5 times but they never fix it the system. Service is awful. They lied to me and told me my Doctor spelled my name wrong, but it was clear in my paperwork that it was spelled correctly by my Doctor it was them and they didn't want to own up to the mistake. They frequently lose my prescriptions and make up all kinds of excuses. They are the worst! I wish I could go somewhere else, but Cigna only uses CVS. read more

This store pushes you to check out via self check out even if there is a cashier and with this all things wrong can happen and they make you feel like you're stealing like putting at the wrong side of the check out area your item or when then there was a miss scan in the purchase again the sensor would complain. I explicitly told the checker that this would not be happening if there was a cashier and WE SHOULD NOT BE DOING THEIR JOB! I do not like it when they make you feel like you're stealing when your intent is to leave as quickly as possible because it is raining and the weather is gloomy, and it is downright terrible to have this kind of experience, dreadful! If you want CVS to honor their cosmetic return policy, skin care Is not covered. I have never returned a cosmetic but I bought EvenTone Super Glow Serum for $21.79. It smelled so bad, I washed it off and still couldn't get rid of the smell. The gal in training couldn't find it in their register (she asked if I bought it there tho it showed on my receipt that she sold it to me)so I went and got it off the shelf. The trainer said it was returnable but now there are 5 people in line at the one register that was functioning. I waited and Gal in training still can't pull it up. So I provide the box. And now the 'manager' shows up to say that it's not a cosmetic, it's skin care and not returnable. She points out the very small print and long return policy on display. I ask if she can provide a store credit and she firmly says NO. I am in this store almost every week and grew up in this area so shopped there back when it was Longs...but no more. read more

Our prescriptions are always behind, told they would be ready in the morning and we show up later just to be sure and still they make us come back the next day 35 mins each way, today was particularly bad. We dealt with a pharmacist Kevin, who seem to hate his job and take it out on us. We showed up at seven giving them an hour to fill the prescription since it still wasn't ready and he said "nope, go home what you say to me I'm not filling it." my wife was almost in tears. I'm submitting this review hoping top management will see it and make improvements. I go to this CVS regularly and it's not the pleasant shopping experience it once was (before the pandemic). I will comment on what I experienced while shopping there yesterday. *There were no registers open to ring up customers - only self check out registers were available and the store manager directing the line of customers to the self check out area - Why the inconvenience? Self check out takes longer, especially if you have a cart full of purchases. And this is the third time I've had to self check out in the month of January. 'The manager who is a young Latina women, speaks poorly to the employees working on the floor. Embarrassing for both customer and employee. And she loudly discussed how she had to cut hours because upper management was "on her". It's becoming an uncomfortable shopping experience lately. I just moved to this neighborhood and transferred my meds to this location. The lady in the afternoon screams at me in line and during the transaction. I had a really annoying prescription problem today and the pharmacy assistant was very patient and helpful! Thank you guys for all you do.

I stood in a short line behind an employee named "Jeff" who was on his break. Sometimes I prefer to stand in line when I just want to slow down and be alone peacefully with my thoughts. If I'm eager to get what I need and get out quickly, I go the self-serve kiosks. After about 5 minutes in line, Jeff goes up to the counter and places the "next register" sign down to show the line is closed after him. I let him know that I had been standing behind him for a while, and now there were other people behind me. Additionally, there was no other register open, just one kiosk. The other kiosk was inoperable, and the man using it was there at least 30 minutes with staff assisting him to get his cash out. Meanwhile, Jeff is becoming irate because neither myself nor the people behind me are using the one kiosk that people are not desperately trying to retrieve "cash back" from. He's commenting that the kiosk is faster; it makes no sense to stand in line; it's a waste of time; it's stupid...and he's getting increasingly more irritated. He finally angrily grabs his hostess snack and soft drink and walks off. I tried to wait to speak with the manager of the day "Trent", but he was helping the man who was trying to get his money out of the kiosk. I have not had any problems like this before at this particular CVS. It's not the best CVS, and the one on Ygnacio Valley Road is closer to my home and generally better. However, I was profiled about 7 months ago at the CVS near my house and decided to get my goods at the nearby Lucky instead. If I happen to be near the CVS on Treat, I have shopped there, but on rare occasions. After being profiled at the Ygnacio Valley Road store and experiencing Jeff's need to control what he cannot control at the Treat store, I am finally over CVS. They can do much better with their customer care. read more

I didn't think it was even possible, but this CVS sucks even worse than the Bancroft Rd. CVS. They never have anything in stock (both the regular store as well as the pharmacy). The employees are absolutely clueless and just DNGAF. Forcing customers to go to the self-checkout line?! How about hire more competent people? The biggest problem for me, which I will be reporting to the County, is that every single time I buy their shelved bottles of Coke or Diet Coke...I have to throw the entire thing away because they stink and smell like foul mildew. Many items are expired well past their expiration date, so check everything. Either it's happening on the truck or it's happening in the store. Either way, it's been happening for months and like I said, DNGAF over there. I've seen a few people just fill up a cart and walk right out of the store without paying. The entire store stinks, the air conditioning is always broken or never on, and I have no idea where managers are. If the self-checkout machine bleeps at you then good luck finding help-- you are in a total wasteland.
