Alright peeps so this will be short and straight to the point. If you can change your location to pick up your medication or anything in this store I suggest you change it immediately. Unless you want to wait 1-2hrs to get your prescriptions and 30min to check out in the front. The drive thru is not not open which makes it more difficult to get your meds. Not only that but there is one lady that looks Samoan helps one person and then goes and gets distracted for 10 min comes back helps again and goes off again. This is BS customer service sucks at this store. Not to mention almost everything is locked up so if you wanted to get something from nail clippers or nails stuff or make up or electrical toothbrush heads you must wait till someone hears the ring on the over head and comes to you after you waiting that long. Walgreens or to any store if you have these stuff locked up be sure to schedule people that can come and open these locks when customers need them. If not then leave them unlocked you wanted them secure but now paying customers are getting frustrated that we have to wait multiple times to get something at this store. Will we go back to this store sorry but no I just switched my stuff back to another location at a better place that does value customers and does want to make sales. read more

Literally the worst Walgreens that has ever existed. Long lines, unfriendly employees that yell at their customers.

This is by far is the WORST PHARMACY EVER! I booked an appointment for immunization got there stood in line for 8 min before I had to say something (loudly) WTF? Why hasn't anyone acknowledged me standing there? They got all choked up making excuses, then a RUDE CHICK called my name to tell me that the Covid shot wasn't available to me because I'm not OVER 65! EXCUSE ME ! The Covid vaccine opened up to EVERYONE TODAY and she obviously doesn't know her job ! How do you work in the Pharmacy and you don't know that? !! Anyway I got the shot and left! I will never go back to that ghetto ass store !! Train your employees better!! read more

Sooooo... I know I said that I would swear off this place, but... I meeaan.... ya know. Essentials, convenience, all of that jazz. But anyways; I've been back several times since that horrific and unnecessary incident with homegirl who was at the register. Haven't seen her since and I really don't care where she went. The staff that's been working the weeknight evening shift is bombtastic! I feel like a lot of the old staff that I used to see have either been promoted, taken different shifts, or left/transferred to another store. In any event, the new night shift crew has been so pleasant. Stopped by today (because I basically live at Walgreens... no lie!) and the lady actually remembered me. It's flattering but also sad because it confirmed that I shop at this here Walgreens waaay too damn much. I'm addicted. There is no other store that I spend more time in than Walgreens. She told me that the Rite Aid across the street closed permanently. Sad to hear if, but I rarely ever shopped there. Walgreens is my steez and it will forever be this way. But, now i'm afraid that this location is going to be even busier than it already is. I visited this store on Sunday to get passport photos taken. The photo kiosk was empty, but a cashier quickly asked another employee to help us. When we mentioned we needed passport photos, the employee told us they didn't have a camera... How can they advertise photo services but not have a camera? Honestly, I doubt that was the real reason--they probably just didn't want to do it. Finally, I found another Walgreens in the area where there were no problems with the equipment. read more

The staff are friendly, but they need to manage their duties. It says open at 7am, and I got here at 7:02am, the woman(black) told me they are not open yet, still need couple more minutes. I personally think schedule is set for a reason, the customers expect coming in during the operation hour and I cannot, it is a big deal for me. read more

The WORST pharmacy ever! We placed an order on the app for a refill to be delivered so we wouldn't have to wait 50 years in line to pick it up. That was on June 17th! It is now June 24 and the app shows it as "received" and that they're working on it. We called today to see why it was taking 7 days to receive it. Val answered the call and was super rude right from the start. She tried blaming us and saying we should have called sooner. Huh?!!!!! We need to call after placing the order?! Please make that make sense. She says they do not show any refill being requested or even processing. She again tried to blame us. She says it will take a while to fill because they're busy. Ummm we requested this a week ago. There is NO excuse! I asked to speak with the pharmacist. Xuan got on the phone and while I was explaining the situation and concern over how Val handled the call, she immediately started defending Val. Instead of apologizing for any inconvenience her priority was to avoid any blame. She says it's an IT issue and not their fault. I don't care who's fault at Walgreens it is. The main concern is getting the refill asap. I found Val and Xuan very rude and dismissive. Neither of them ever apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience and error on behalf of their company. I asked to speak with the pharmacy manager but Xuan said Gina, the pharmacy manager was off on the weekend. Must be nice. I asked to speak with David the district manager and she didn't have his contact information. She told me to call customer service so I did and filed a complaint. We'll see if they even respond. I can tell that they lack leadership or any customer service because after reading these reviews on here, it seems the pharmacy is trash and the company does NOT care about patient care whatsoever! read more

Arriving at 5:30 for a pharmacy that closes at 6:00, and having stood in line for 15 minutes I was told they would not be able to serve me. I said I'll just wait anyway, I've been here a while and was told, "I assure you your persistence will not pay off we will not be serving you today. " I politely suggested they should have cut the line off 15 minutes ago since I've been waiting that long. The person who identified himself as the manager said, what else can I say you're not getting served. Walgreens needs a corporate shake up. They are understaffed because they pay so poorly. Now there essentially mistreating customers. They've lost my business in all things forever. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. I've been going here the last 4 years, but their customer service has gone down the last year or so. There seems to always be an issue with filling our family's prescriptions. One time they filled it the wrong son (I have twins) even though the doctor put the prescription under the correct child's name. There is always a long wait time when you call to speak with a pharmacy tech. As well as a long line inside or through the drive through. The drive through is currently closed due to staffing. After hearing back from Walgreens their response for not issuing my medications was that " they didn't feel comfortable with my prescription and how they were issused so thats why I was being denied. Again, if my prescription seemed weird why did the pharmacist Trung, Troung or however you spell it agreed to give me 4 out of 5 prescriptions. I'm still trying to understand why would they only want to give me 4 out of the 5 prescriptions IF MY PRESCIPTION was not in the correct format or whatever their excuse was. Why give me any medications? If its a faulty prescription why approve 4 out of the 5? I came in dressed with slacks and a button up and nice shoes. I jus came from a dentist surgery and showed the pharmcist my mouth was bloody dripping. They called my dentist and still wouldnt relase my medication. Ive never got treated in this manner from any business cooperation in my life its crazy. If they are treating people like this I cant imagine how they treat people that are not dressed or doesnt seem to be apart of the Walgreens stereotype in this area. I usually only write reviews when the place is great but im only writing this review to let everyone know hat the Walgreens on Monument Blvd might deny your medications because of how you look. Not sure what scale they are using BUT DO NOT GO THERE FOR YOUR MEDICATIONS NEEDS. If you want a smooth transaction I recommend going anywhere else but here, unless your a daredevil be my guest. I recommend Walmart. They send you a text message when your prescription is ready and you wont have to deal with people judging you and denying you your medications. I'll be writing a letter to coperate and i'll be posting via social media about my experience here. I never felt this type of engery and service from anyone in my life. I cant imaine how they treat other people at this location when it comes to their medication. Pharmacy has one technician working at register while the other techs are in the back sitting down . No one calls for back up . I feel bad for the disabled people standing in line . The technician literl help one person for 10 minutes while the line builds up . I thought if it's more than 4 people in line you call for back up . Shake my head . Avoid the pharmacy of this location at all costs. The line is always long as fuck and the pharmacy assistants don't give a shit about the customers. The pharmacy is always low on staff that's the main issue. Expect a 30+ minute wait in this fuck if you need to get your medicine from the pharmacy. If you really need to get the prescription from this location, I recommend you pay online first so you can use the express line for pickup. Also, I made a vaccine appointment online but I was also told to get in the long ass line. I waited 45 minutes beyond the scheduled time to get my vaccine. Wish I could give zero stars. Waited in line for almost 45 minutes to get my sick kids antibiotics and other meds that are NEEDED. To be told they need at least another hour... obviously, I already used up my entire break at work on this... had to go back to work... came back after work to see that they CLOSED the pharmacy without notice because their "system is down." I get that happens, but notify people. I never received a notification that the RX was ready. I went to the other Walgreens location as directed to be told they CANNOT fill the rx through the insurance because the monument walgreens already billed them, and it can not be reversed. Now I'm paying out of pocket for antibiotics, and I'm going to have to go through a lot more trouble in filing claims, etc. The wait for this place is ridiculous. this branch of Walgreens is giving their customers incorrect information. Their published pharmacy hours on a Saturday is 9am to 6pm but they close the pharmacy an hour early. I went there around 5pm to pick up my wife's prescriptions and the pharmacy is already closed by that time. The pharmacist is still there but she ignores all the customers that are there. read more

What a nightmare! If you rely on medication(s) to live your life, then stay away from this pharmacy!!! For three months in a row, there has been one issue after another, either delaying because they do not have the medication in stock or refusal to fill. Even when the doctor submits your prescription 1-2 weeks before your fill date, to ensure the pharmacy has enough time to make orders and get deliveries of the medication(s), so it will be available on time, but they do not. I have been taking the same medication, at the same dosage, for 15 years now. What is the problem? Are they under staffed or is their pharmacist too inexperienced to manage such a busy location? Who knows?? Communicating with their staff is a joke. You never receive any updates of any kind on prescription status. If you call be prepared to wait on hold for at least a total of 30 minutes and to be cut off when speaking, as their staff assumes what you're going to say and miscommunicates to the other staff while you sit on hold, again. If you call more than once, they red flag your name/chart and treat you as if you have done something wrong, making stereotypical remarks and insults, never taking a moment to actually listen. I will never use this pharmacy again. If I see the names of any of the staff at a different location, I will make it known of their wrongdoings to ensure their terrible service and demeaning attitudes will be stopped, because this is just unacceptable. Another review why I love this Walgreens Photo location: 1). Photo reps use gloves to handle your posters, large prints, poster boards, etc with care (no marks, no fingerprint smudges, etc) 2). They wrap your posters carefully (no bent marks, rips) 3). They give you a small or large sized easel if you ordered the poster boards to make sure either one will work for your boards and keep them up 4). They offer you large, clear bags to protect and keep all your poster-related goodies in tact 5). My wedding signs are in point!!!!!! Made an appointment for 3:30 to get my vaccines. Got there at 3:10. Was told I had to wait in the prescription pickup line, which had 20 people waiting in line! I finally got to check in at 4:45. I never write reviews, but This Pharmacy has gone so far down in customer service that I am going to change stores. Recently ill and family members had to wait over an hour in line for pickup of prescription. Was there Friday and line was 15 people long to went home and came Saturday and I was 12th in line and it took one hour to get one prescription (they other two that the doctor called in on Thursday were not ready yet. Used to have a great drive-up window, but that has been closed for over a month. Don't know what else to say - understaffed - they need to fix it. read more

This review is for pharmacy. I went to the drive thru and was told it wasn't ready. The prescription was sent in yesterday so there's no excuse why it shouldn't be ready by the next day. Mind you, I was a pharmacy tech for the Walgreens in Belmont for YEARS. I know how it works. Now they told me it wasn't ready and to come back in 30 mins. Fine, I understand. So I waited in the parking lot for 30 mins with my 3 young girls and when I came back the other tech told me they needed to confirm with my doctor my medication. WHY THE HELL DID THEY NOT TELL ME THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE?????!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAITED IN THE PARKING LOT WITH MY 3 SCREAMING KIDS THE ENTIRE TIME. This message is to the Walgreens pharmacy manager. Do me a damn favor and train your technicians better. My pharmacy manager made sure we knew how to take care of the patients. Get your sh*t together and make sure your damn technicians pick up the phone too. Cause after I left the first time I tried to call back and make sure you would have the Rx ready in 30 mins. The worst pharmacy ever. I transferred my prescriptions to Safeway and received $50.00 and now no longer half hour waits.

Every time I go to this Walgreens Pharmacy on Monument Blvd, they are always short staff, so does the clerk say, and the line is 20-22 people long. Today I had to wait for an hour and 15 minutes to pick up my meds. I ask the clerk if she can get some help, and she responded snidely, if you don't like the pharmacy, go somewhere else. So I am going to try the one on Ygnacio Valley, which i feel will be the bloody same. I feel management needs to re-evaluate their store and note that the pharmacy seems like the only department that is always busy and employ more clerks to help out. read more

More than once I've had medications ordered hours in advance, I arrive, and they say they haven't gotten to it because they're short-staffed. Then have more employees working in the pharmacy? I have never been more frustrated with a pharmaceutical as I have been with this one. We came by at 6:06 pm to pick up a prescription when the website said they were open until 9 and found the pharmacy closed at 6. We tried the next day to pick up the prescription and were told that the doctor said it was no longer necessary. We went to the doctor who said he never said that and he re-submitted the prescription. I tried to pick it up today (it was sent over from the doctor yesterday at noon, over 24 hours ago) and when I got to the front of the line (after standing in line 20 minutes) I found they hadn't even started filling it. They waited for us to come and then started filling it and told me it would be another 15 minutes. I immediately got back in line because I knew it would be more than 15 minutes to wait in line. read more
