Maria went out of her way to run out of the pharmacy and grab the meds for me. I paid in the drive they and was able to go home successfully! The delays in filling prescriptions have been an ongoing issue and have made an already stressful situation even more difficult! What made today particularly upsetting was how I was treated by Michelle, the pharmacy technician. My doctor was literally on the phone with me at the pharmacy, actively trying to reach the pharmacy and help resolve the issue.. While my doctor was on the call, Michelle told me I needed to move out of the way. When I explained that my doctor was on the phone and actively trying to help, she responded, "Welllll, we're answering our phones, so you need to move we have customers ahead of you." I understand that pharmacies can be busy and that there are other customers waiting. However, the way I was spoken to was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially considering I had just undergone a procedure, was in significant pain, and my physician was actively trying to resolve the situation with the pharmacy. Patients should be treated with basic courtesy and compassion. Based on their very poor rating as a location Walgreens should reconsider who they are hiring. Based on the other reviews, my experience was not an isolated event. So to customers be aware and believe the reviews. This location has a very rude and unprofessional staff who will dismiss you even if you're on the phone with your doctor!

What should have been a quick process turned into a nightmare--I waited hours for two simple passport photos and had to make three separate trips to the store to fix their mistakes. The store manager, Susie, was shockingly unhelpful and dismissive, delivering customer service that was rude, careless, and completely unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. Staples, for example, had no lines and produced compliant passport photos in under five minutes. The contrast is embarrassing.

Customer service is awful. The pharmacists won't even acknowledge you--no "we'll be with you shortly," nothing. You're left standing there like you don't exist. The overall atmosphere is dismissive and unprofessional. I've never had these issues at Vons--night and day difference. Avoid this place if you value your time, money, or sanity. UPDATE: I returned with my insurance company on the phone and discovered that no prescription had ever been properly run through my insurance. Despite being told I was required to pay cash, the pharmacy was still billing my old insurance, even though I uploaded my new card on January 1st. I had asked multiple times whether my insurance was working and was repeatedly given a nod in response. This was eventually corrected, but the level of incompetence is unacceptable. I can't imagine I'm the only person being treated this way.

I went back inside, found my bag, and headed back out. Because I accidentally walked toward the wrong door first, I simply walked a couple of feet over to the correct exit and left. A few minutes later, while I was sitting in my car, a Walmart employee approached me and demanded to see my receipt because i walked out the wrong door. I understand that receipt checks may be part of store policy, and I would have gladly cooperated. What upset me was the employee's attitude and the way he handled the situation. While I was looking for my receipt, he rudely said, "Just give me the bag of food and we'll call it even," implying that I had stolen my groceries. I found that comment insulting and unprofessional. Once I located my receipt, he looked at it, handed it back, said, "Have a good day," and walked away without any apology or acknowledgment. To make matters worse, when I got home I called to speak with a manager. Around 3:30 p.m. I was told the manager was at lunch and to call back after 5:00 p.m. When I called back after 5:00, I was then told the manager had already gone home. I was told the manager is off at 5 every day.... I understand that employees have a job to do, but customers deserve to be treated with respect. Being spoken to as though I had stolen something, only to be proven that I had paid for everything, was embarrassing and unacceptable. I hope Walmart provides better customer service training and ensures customers have a way to speak with management when concerns like this arise.

This culminated recently with the tech being unable to help demanding that I exit the long drive-thru line and return inside to a separate line. Although the prescription WAS authorized by our physician and WAS prepared, they could not obtain authorization from our insurance provider. I contacted our insurance provider who advised that Walgreens had made NO attempts to access or otherwise request authorization for this prescription. So, the tech was being untruthful with us. Note that we were recently issued our NEW insurance cards and the technician asked me to provide them with the new BIN, PCN and Group information listed on the new cards which I provided. Nevertheless, the tech did not use the information and did not make the effort to contact our provider. The following day, we drove back and paid cash for the prescription.

If I could give negative stars I would. Pharmacy more like a drug den. I walk my dogs around the area daily as well as shop there and it's amazing to see the outrageously disgusting activity occurring. Street drugs are being sold and used on the premises, even though the store's sign in front states "no loitering". Prostitutes are being pimped out by men in the back parking lot. Urine and feces everywhere. I have called the proper authorities to handle the situation in which they said they would get to it, and I hope they do. But most alarming, is when I called to speak to the store manager and let her or him know of my concerns of what's happening on their premises... the result, they hung up on me. I wouldn't contribute patronizing this store and I live within a 5 mile radius. read more

The new head pharmacist is not kind, tries to accuse chronic pain patients for being addicts and saying they're abusing their medication that keeps them from a normal life. He needs to jump off that high horse he is on and help these poor souls instead of treating them like they are addicts living on the streets.
