Seems like sometimes they are so busy that things get misplaced even such as when I had to stand and wait about 15 minutes for them to find a prescription that had been there, for at least one day! This Yelp review is solely about a young lady named Alex in pharmacy. I am very grateful for her prompt attention to my lost medication situation. She was very polite on the phone the two times I called and personally went and searched and found my medication which was misplaced. She contacted the specialty pharmacy and got the issue resolved with them within the hour, and I will receive a new set of medication. Absolutely not, no. The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. On top of everything, these stupid women can barely speak English. I couldn't even understand half of her terrible customer service. The thing that was most infuriating was that the "woman" if you could call her that had the audacity to laugh when asking her a medical question. CVS cares? What a complete and total bullshit lie. I have been using this CVS IN DALE BLVD since 1986, never had an issue until recently. I purchased a prescription from the pharmacy online and paid for it online. I sent my daughter to pick it up with the prepaid code and a picture of being paid. When my daughter got there they told her that they couldn't find the transaction on their system, that I had to call Corporate to get a refund because my daughter had to pay again for it. They ran her credit card and told her that it didn't go through. She gave them another card and they ended up charging her twice. I called corporate for my refund and they said that they were able to see the transaction on their end, that they will refund my money. Corporate said it will take 3 to 5 days. This happened October 27, today is November 12 and no refund from Corporate. I'm really disappointed at this CVS, there is a few people that work there that are excellent at their job like the young man name Kevin, he should be the store manager. read more

Okay, so this is purely for getting a Passport photo. I went in, the lady was clearly busy, but I told her I needed a passport photo and she knocked it out in 5 minutes. It was no frills git r' done for $9.99 (you can get a Google coupon for $2 off online). That's about as good as it gets. That being said, the place was packed. I have never seen a CVS Pharmacy so flippin' busy, either. Even the drive-thru had a line! So prescription fillers beware. read more

Went here to purchase sinus medication. I showed them my military ID, and they told me the system was down. I'm guessing because the scanner didn't pick up on my info, and the little clerk had to key it in, he'd rather say the system was down than do the work; but if my military ID was used to drop off and pick up prescriptions, I would've gotten service instead of the runaround. Find another one to go to, their customer service leaves something to be desired. Also, this new rule of using your ID to purchase sinus meds is crazy. (Because of the tweekers) Virginia, do something about the pollen in the area because I need sinus meds just to survive, and hasseling me about getting it ain't gonna work for me! read more

This is just a review of the store, not the pharmacy or anything else. I was very excited to learn that up north had CVS's just like down in the south. I come here when I need little odds and ends such as bobby pins or on sale Halloween candy. I also come here when I need a half gallon of milk after Joe has used the end of the middle and forgot to tell me. Or when I need only six eggs for our company cookie exchange. Only downside is that I feel like they're always understaffed. And the checkout area is a complete mess. You got aisles, then the stands with 34 cent candy and no one knows who is next in line but it doesn't matter because you're waiting a good ten minutes anyway. read more

I called the pharmacy at 10:30am and a man picked up and ask me to hold. The call was cut off and when I called back, I was automatically placed on hold for 20 minutes until he answered the call again. If he was alone I understand but it's still unacceptable and cvs pharmacy should make sure they're staffed correctly. read more

Our daughter (4 months old) takes acid reflux medicine daily so we need it refilled often. Every time we go get it filled it is a struggle to get it flavored (she hates it with the flavoring but actually gags on it without it). We call ahead every time, but they never actually have it ready when we get there to pick it up. This wouldn't be so bad if they could get it done quickly, but they can't. Another note: we went to fill a prescription on Saturday that needed to be started ASAP. The doctor called it in and we followed up on our way home to find out when it would be ready (since it was on our way), they said it wouldn't be ready for over an hour so we just went home intending to return later, which was inconvenient but we were fine with it. They called five minutes later as we were just arriving home saying it was ready. If they had told us it would have been ready so fast then we would have just waited, so it's sad that the one time they were able to to something quickly and efficiently ended up being inconvenient because of poor communication. read more

I was told 2 hrs for a prescription!!! Ummm I was the only one in the store waiting, and there was clearly too many people behind the counter not one of them wanted to stop talking long enough to even acknowledge me when I stepped up to the drop off window. I had to say excuse me several times. You can probably guess I took my prescription and went to Jefferson Davis CVS much nicer and was ready in 15 min :) Never again will I go Dale City CVS even if it's only 1 mile away from my house!!! read more

This review is for the pharmacy department. When I went to drop off my script I first had to wait for the tech to wrap up her personal conversation with her father. When she finally gained some professionalism, I told her I'd be waiting for my script and she immediately became irritated and started telling me she didn't have enough staff. When I said "That's fine," She gave me a nasty look and sighed and took my scripts. No ETA, no thank you, nothing. The staffing issues of CVS are not the issue of the customer and being short staffed is NEVER a reason to provide poor customer service. Back to Walgreens I go... read more

I just paid and walked out because I was so caught off guard that someone working a register would talk to a customer the way she spoke to me. I won't be spending my money here again. read more

I felt compelled to come to yelp and write this review after having just picked up an Rx from here. While standing in line there was a short asain lady in the back filling meds w a white coat on (assuming she was the pharmacist) whom felt it was necessary to yell across to a young man named Kevin to pick up the phone while he was working the drive thru.. Apparently it was a co-worker calling out because of the weather. (Currently snowing) This pharmacist procedes to ask Kevin why he got off the phone with his co-worker "who gave him the authority". Seriously lady, grow up and learn to respect others or at least learn how to take people aside. Poor Kevin. read more

Nasty. It's dirty half the contents of the shelves are on the floor. The people who worked there went out of their way to be rude to customers. The pharmacists were nice but the folks working the floor and registers should be ashamed the way they treat customers. read more

My favorite part about this cvs is the drive thru pharmacy. That being said, the inside is most often in disarray. The shelves are usually messy, there are products and boxes all over the place. I come in at all hours of the day and it is usually in this state. The aisles are narrow so when there is a lot of stuff out you can't really get around. Customer service is about average at this location as well. The bathroom is gross. Lines can form pretty quickly here but they move kind of slow. read more

This CVS is much bigger than a CVS I used to visit almost daily in Falls Church, V.A. (before I moved). Very clean & easy to find what you're looking for. This has been the worst Pharmacy I've ever been... before I had no problems picking up my prescription but then all the sudden I am an able to pick them up because they need an RX number which they've never asked before and all of a sudden need. And on top of that I had my doctor resend this prescription and yet they still are not able to fulfill my prescription. This is all so terrible that the fact that this is all happening during a 4th of July holiday weekend. I don't even know where to begin. Just horrible. I myself work in Pharmacy and chose this location out of convenience to my house. They did just about everything wrong, and were rude at that. They never have anything in stock, and make very half-assed attempts at their jobs. They should be embarrassed to provide that kind of service. read more

The store smelled horrible and customer service is at an all time low. Was told over an hour for prescription and they had like 4 people working. I was in a sling right out of surgery and needed my meds. They have no idea on how to arrange priority. Again, this store was horrible. Smelt like old diapers and filled with immigrants.
