There is a dangerous disconnect between what the website or app tells me and what the pharmacists…read moretell me. Multiple months my prescription is put "In Process" and I call to confirm. I am then told by the pharmacist that will be ready at the boilerplate time of 14:00. After waiting, the website eventually says "Out of stock" without any notification from the website or the pharmacist. I am then told to check with other CVS pharmacies to see if they have stock. The problem with this is the other CVS pharmacies will not tell me if they have it in stock or not. Yet the website says "If you need your Rx today, contact your pharmacy to find a nearby location with your medication in stock." It is wild how disconnected the pharmacists are from the information being given by CVS and it is also quite dangerous. This will be the fourth time now that I have had to suddenly stop a medication that has explicit instructions not to stop suddenly as serious side effects can occur. CVS has become a baffling unprofessional and dangerous place to get medications from and I highly suggest researching others around your area as they do exist and quite possibly convey information to the customer far better. Do not place your health in the hands of CVS as it is clear they have not even read the very warning labels they plaster on their own medications.
