This CVS has gone down hill. They now have the deodorant locked up behind glass. This is Texas (and Preston Center which is Park Cities adjacent), instead of punishing the general public by making them jump thru hoops to buy a simple product, they should punish the shop lifters that caused this. My experience at the CVS was pretty quick I got in and out I need a couple things at the pharmacy and they were helpful caring it seemed pretty clean to me and it's a decent location. As far as a drug store is concerned CVS normally does a pretty good job. read more

I had an annoying cough after my mini vacation. Stupid plane cabin air, its just filled with grossness. Finally decided to hit up the minute clinic since I didn't feel bad, just that I had a hacking cough and it kept me up for the last 2 nights. the PA working was super quick and heavy on the hand sanitizer. Everything went by quickly and no waiting for my doc. Prescriptions were sent right over to the counter and I was in and out in about an hour, drugs in hand. Sweet. This CVS is huge! But, beyond the regular CVS aspect, there is a Minute Clinic inside. After experiencing watching my husband suffer through the flu on our first anniversary last year, we headed to CVS last night to get our flu shots. While I probably would not go to the Minute Clinic for other ailments, the nurse practitioner was super friendly and professional. We literally were in and out in about 10 minutes and our insurance covered it! So, people...go get your flu shot! read more

All CVS's are the same- dingy carpet, bad sales, and a weird pee smell upon entering. I really try to go elsewhere when I can, but we were in the market for some snacks and drinks during our trip and didn't want to pay the hotel markup price (this is one time when the CVS prices were better!). This is part of a shopping center that houses a Marshalls, and eventually a Target. We found a decent enough selection of drinks and snacks to get us thru our trip. A-OK experience. read more

I'm from Chicago and doing some business in Dallas. I was puzzled as to why one of my prescriptions was not in my med bag. As an insulin diabetic I am conscious of ensuring I have what I need. For some reason my needles were not in my bag. I went to the pharmacy and explained and without questioning after verifying my prescriptions the pharmacist tech handed a few needles to tied me over until I returned home. Online it says they close at 9 but when I show up at 8:15pm, I'm told pharmacy closed at 8 but "store" was still open and that I'm trying to fill a controlled substance that can't be transferred to another cvs. Worst company not run by humans. Corporate BS. I hate the way they treated me like garbage after I spent THOUSANDS in here for more than 15 years. Pharmacist and manager were ONSITE and could have easily rung up the prescription that was ready and waiting, especially since online store hours are MISLEADING. Hate this company. read more

The DR under my health plan said they could fit me in 2 weeks from the day I called so I tried the CVS Minute Clinic. Walked right in with a sinus infection that turned into a ear infection (ear canal was swollen shut and painful). Robert diagnosed and prescribed me the meds to cure my ailment. So Thankful I tried Minute Clinic for something the Dr didn't want to see me for. Robert even took the time to give me a follow up call the next day to see how I was doing. My Dr of 5 years has never done that. Thanks Minute Clinic for helping me before the holidays. read more

Being newer to Texas I don't yet have a primary physician so I use the CVS Minute Clinic. I went at about 4:45 on a Friday to get rid of a cough that just keeps lingering. There was no wait and there were two nurse practitioners onsite. I was in and out in no time. I've been to this minute clinic before as well as others and would generally expect a wait time of about 30 minutes while they treat people ahead of you. I love this option because no appointment is required and it's treated as a trip to your regular doctor. The best part is that your prescriptions can be transferred to the CVS pharmacy or where you normally pick up your prescriptions. read more

None of the pharmacists here have a warm demeanor, but I get my prescriptions on time and it's downstairs from my work so I usually ignore the surliness. Today, however, I was blown away by their coldness. I picked up a prescription that was $40 more than it was in April. When I asked about the difference I was told I hadn't filled it since last November when I had a coupon. While that may have been the case in November, I did not have a coupon this April and I paid $25. They printed out the receipt from November and refused to talk about April. They gave me my bags and moved on to the next person. I went home found the receipt for the $25 in April and called the pharmacy. After 10 minutes on hold I spoke to the same rude pharmacist. Her story changed about 20 times; she kept interrupting me and my fiance could hear her screaming. She clearly did not like being wrong! I finally get her to admit I paid $25 in April, but she keeps telling me I had a coupon. I didn't have a coupon in April, but I want a coupon so I ask her where I can get one to use on my May prescription. Finally she admits that she used a coupon that a pharmaceutical company gave her on my April prescription without telling me. I don't care it saved me money, but I don't get why it took 20 minutes for her to explain to me the $40 difference month to month and yell at me in the process (in store and on the phone). My prescriptions give away a lot of my medical history so it's really hard to leave them in the hands of such insensitive people. I will definitely be switching pharmacies after today. read more

I had the most ridiculous and disheartening experience at a CVS I've been going to weekly since November. I work in Preston Center and stop in to buy mint for our host stand. I take my bag with me because it has my purse. I shouldn't have to explain why I have a purse on me, but in the case I guess I should. Never have I been YELLED at to leave my purse at the front when I walked in that store. I wasn't even 10 steps through when one of your store managers (ALEXIS) came running around the corner demanding that I do so. I turned and asked her why a lady had her large black purse in tow. After fumbling to come up with an explanation I was told "we already spoke about her situation since I wasn't at the door when she came in". I don't know what that means or how that applies to me, but I don't trust strangers with my bag and I don't steal. I proceeded to go to buy my mints and she yelled that if I wasn't going to listen she'd have to follow me around the store. And that's exactly what she did. Followed me to the mints and back to the register. Is this how CVS treats their CUSTOMERS? Like thieves? Is this the training you provide your management team. To humiliate and harass the people that come in to spend their money in your establishments? If someone could reach out to me on this matter, that would be greatly appreciated. Went in due to a sinus infection, the Nurse said it was viral and nothing would cure it since it started with allergies. I got worse within hours of the initial visit and when I called back she said it would get worse and then better and I'd be fine with no medication but Tylenol. The very next morning, after a rough night of coughing, I had to go to the urgent care clinic who found I had bronchitis! They immediately gave me a steroid shot and some antibiotics. Never ever go to one of these clinics!! Not worth the time or money. They don't care at all and won't listen to you or your concerns. read more

I went in on Sunday 06/17 which was Father's Day to purchase a card for my dad. I had my one year old son with me and I put him down while I looked for the right card. It took me about 20 minutes because they were all a mess considering it was Father's Day I'm sure everyone was trying to find last minute gifts. I finally found one and picked my kid up to go to the photo lab and print out a picture to put on the card and all of a sudden I hear some lady screaming so loud that all the customers seemed confused. Saying oh my god! I can't believe that people can't take care of their children. I looked up to see what was going on and this employee was coming straight to me. I was so embarrassed of how loud she was yelling at me and she came straight to me and asked if I saw the mess my son made and I nicely responded no I didn't but I'll be there in a minute let me just get this picture printed. Well she came yelling saying it took her about two hours to clean that store yesterday. I stopped what i was doing and went back to the aisle where my son "made the mess" and there was two wrapping papers on the floor along with about 4 gift cards. I picked them up and just made myself to the register. When I got to the register it was the same lady that had just yelled at me in front of everyone and first thing she asked was if I picked my sons mess up. I ignored her because I didn't want to loose my cool in front of my son. I responded and said can you please tell me what my total is? She proceeded to ask if I cleaned my sons mess up. At this point i see no reason to bring it up again and i responded yes i did pick up my sons mess now can you please tell me how much it is. She responded by saying she wasn't going to ring me up and I could go shop somewhere else. I asked to speak to her manager and she said she was the manager. I asked for her name and she responded it was Alexis. Then proceeded by walking away from the register and leaving my son and myself just standing there. I spent 40 minutes of my day trying to buy a card which is already hard enough with a one year old. For some rude lady being upset it took her two hours to clean the day before. I got out of there and will never go to a cvs again. I have called their customer service 3 times and keep being told that their district manager will call me back and i never hear back from them. The Pharmacy here is great BUT the Manager of this store is a rude rude man. He speaks to customers as if they were dirt. The rudest manager on earth runs this store. We once caught him removing all the christmas wrapped candy from russel stover and replacing it back to the counter to sell as regular candy...minus the christmas wrap. Hmmmm. Today I asked about an item purchased that was 50% off and he informed me rudely I could look at the register screen and get the answer I needed and he did not say it nicely either. This review is primarily for my visit to the MinuteClinic. This was my first shot at a MC inside CVS, and I was actually impressed by the set up. There was no receptionist, just a fancy touch-screen computer where you filled out all your deets and the wait begins. I did wait a little over an hour to actually see the doctor, which turned out was a RN of sorts. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable up until he began to ask about my medical history. I do not have a spleen so therefore have little to no immune system. Turns out that's one of the things they are not allowed to handle. Patients with immune deficiencies, seek alternate source of doc-in-a-box care. It's not his fault, and he even went as far as to pull down his handbook and show me where I could not be treated. He did however want to check my vitals and spend a little time with me, also gave me a slammin' referral to a great place just around the corner. Brought my daughter to check for strep. Got a $130 bill from them as a result. In addition, the physician assistant seemed to have problems figuring out the right dosage and in the end prescribed the wrong antibiotic for strep. Two weeks later she still had strep and brought her to her pediatrician that mentioned that the prescription was wrong. Called customer service, but they don't care. Never again! read more

Loved this Minute Clinic. The man working there named Israel was really kind, caring, and professional. I caught him right before he was about to go on his lunch break and he kindly saw me anyway delaying his lunch to help me. I had a cold that turned into a sinus infection and he confirmed that it was exactly what I had. When I asked a question about where the different sinuses are he even opened up a book to show me a visual picture which I really appreciated. Every time I've gone to this Minute Clinic over the years, I've had a good experience. Thankful I could get in quick since I was going out of town! I'll always choose this minute clinic. read more

This just might be the best pharmacy in Dallas. I have been using this location and one more in Dallas for a couple of years now. I didn't realize how great the service was until I had to get a prescription filled somewhere else. The staff at this location really truly care about their customers. I have been treated with care and respect every single time I go in to this location. There is a genuine concern for their customers. Sometimes as I wait for prescriptions ( which is never a long wait) I listen to how they treat to other people who can sometimes ask a lot of questions, or are impatient, and this staff never misses a beat on 5star care. Suffering from chronic illness and constantly being on meds is very wearing on the spirit at times, but these pharmacists and techs make that burden so much easier to bear. Malik was prejudice against me. She obviously had an issue with my color. Malik communicated with everyone before and after me. She was nice to them, but when it came to me she was rude. I had an emergency surgery and was moving slow (even at 40 yo), but because of surgery I had difficulties lifting even the cereal out of the cart. She did not speak to me except when I told her I had a cvs card and then I had to give her the number three times. Then she oddly kept all my bagged items close to her side of the counter. Which would not have been a problem however my ROM-Range of Motion was limited also do to surgery. But she did not help except to move along to the next customer by promptly and nicely asking for their CVS number. I tried to move my $80 in groceries quickly. Malik has issues with certain races. I will not go back here even though the Pharmacist is wonderful. Andrew at Tom Thumb knows I had a surgery and makes sure my groceries are loaded into my BMW and is always greeting everyone and kind no matter their race. read more

I go to this location every morning to buy drinks, there was one time after I got home I found out the change I got was Counterfeit money! So I went back to the store and ask to talk to the manager but they get me the assistant Instead, I told her what happen and told her I'm not here to get my money back because I can't prove the fake money was from this store, just want to let them know they have counterfeit Money flowing around and last thing you want is people saying you guys is handing out fake money. While I try to tell her what happen and she just starting walk away! She told me it can not happen in here, because she personally count and check cash everyday, and that was end of discussion! So I contact the Corporate office told them what happen that told me that will have a branch manager call me personally , guess waht, they never did and probably never will.
