Like everyone else reviewing this CVS my experiences have been the worst I've experienced to OK. The OK was from a call back from the app about when would my script be ready? She told me it would be filled in a month. It was a monthly med and I was 29 days past the last script filled. My Dr sends in 2 at a time and she couldn't figure it out so I walked her through it. She was actually the most incompetent out of many incompetent employees. What made it better was she was sweet. Sweet, kind, helpful are not words customers use for this pharmacy. When I 1st started using them about 10 years ago the male at the window was not just rude, he was scary, threatening. A simple way to 4xplain their total lack if competence us this. Im 77, and I can't open child proof caps. It's on my record they pull off. I ask every time to make sure its not the childproof type. If I didn't ask or a family member picks it up I get childproof. If they are unable to read that, and give me the proper cap how can we be surprised when they make other " mistakes" The worst thing for me instead of ever apologizing, or being nice they lie to try and cover their mistakes up. CVS Corporate doesn't care. I think its time we turn to whoever governs Pharmacists. People including me continue using this pharmacy because its open 24 hours. worst experience ever!! I went to pick up my photos at CVS, expecting a smooth process, but instead, an employee named Javier publicly accused me of shoplifting--yelling across the store. It was humiliating and completely unfounded. I left feeling upset and shaken, and I really hope they handle this better. No one should have to go through that. Had to pick up several items from all the annual physical visits I'm going through. Drive through is usually super packed but was happy to see it was only 2 cars so chose that. The attendant is either having an off day or she doesn't like people. Tried 3 times to interact and wished her a great day only to get mmmpfff as a response. Otherwise great quick in and out. read more

Slowest and most inefficient pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune of sending a prescription to. You can show up on a Tuesday at 9:30 PM and you'll be sitting in line for over 30 minutes because the sloths wearing pharmacy coats can't do their job effectively. read more

I'm usually not one to write negative reviews but I have HAD it with this CVS. The last 5 times I've had issues but today takes the cake. I waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes around 5pm for them to tell me that my daughter's prescription wasn't ready even though they texted me it was ready. I then went back around 8:30pm to get up to the front as their window was closing and I needed to come inside and pick up my medication due to "technical difficulties". I went inside all for them to be slow and the gentleman at the front couldn't figure out how to work their computer and tried to tell me it wasn't there. I showed the barcode they provided my husband via text and it took the guy at the front 5 minutes and another coworkers assistance for them to find this prescription. The gentleman rang me up with no apology as to taking a long time or at least being friendly and handed me my prescription. I went home to find that the amoxicillin that I was prescribed was not mixed??????!!!!!!! Luckily I have my mom as a nurse and she helped out but how can you provide a medication that way with no instructions to tell me? I almost went back but it takes 20 minutes each time to get there and wasn't worth it to go for a THIRD time today. I DO NOT recommend this place EVER. Go to any other pharmacy nearby. This is ridiculous. Not only are they slow, their employees are always rude and unprofessional. If I could rate them zero stars I would. Unfortunately corporate doesn't give a shit about all the complaints here to change anything. read more

I've lived here for 6 months,and due to insurance I've been stuck using CVS for my prescriptions. I place the refill order 2 weeks in advance and they take 3 or more weeks to fill it!- missing refill requests, hung up on, left on hold,told they'll call me when refill is ready and never call. The app doesn't even work, not ever! So don't waste your time installing it, it never sends refill requests, and you can't screen shot the screen that verifies refill is placed on your end. They had the nerve to tell me they just received my meds even though my doctor called them in 4 hours prior and the app said it would be ready at three. Scheduled my booster shot here due to proximity, but I wouldn't recommend it. The lady administering the shot was not patient/client oriented at all. I don't know if she had a long day or what, but her attitude was terr'ble and she damn near stabbed me in the arm. The first couple shots didn't hurt as bad as this one. I got out of there as quickly as possible. NOT RECOMMENDED. The only reason they're getting a two star is because her coworkers were nice enough to walk me through the check in process. Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Hold times are 45+ mins or no answer at all. My prescriptions are automatically supposed to get refilled and receive texts when they're ready. I always have to call in. And my one inhaler which is every 30 day cycle they NEVER have it refilled for sure unless I call that one in multiple times. Every time I have they always tell me it's being ordered or being put in. Should be ready within a few days. How a few days idk bc I'm already going past a few days of the refill date and even then I still have to call multiple times even days in a row and still isn't ready til a week + later. This branch has to be the worse, it was bad when I was with them a couple years ago but with new insurance I had to return. The people behind the counter didn't even say hello or I will be with you in a minute... Nothing, I had to ask the person if someone will be with me soon, which she became rude. The phones ring and you are literally on hold for over 1 hour. I am not blaming covid for this issue, I am blaming the area manager to come in and pay a visit as a customer and call this number to speak to pharmacy staff. On June 13th I ordered my meds to be shipped same day. They did not arrive but it was ordered later in the day so I thought they would be here on the 14th. Nope. I called on the 15th and waited on hold for 39 minutes before I gave up. Called again the next day on 16th. Waited about 20 mins and someone answered. I explained and she told me they were in the bin ready to be picked up by the person who delivers. The next day I received a text that my delivery has been canceled and I had to pick it up within 2 days. I went there yesterday to pick it up and waited in line for 45 minutes to get it picked up. When i made it to the window I noticed that there was just 1 person running both the drive thru and the front and filling RX's. I asked did his help not show up. He said no, corporate cut everyone's hours. I said so you have worker's that could be here but corporate wont give them the hours. he said yes that is correct. What the heck is going on. How is this acceptable form a corporation to do this to your employees and your customers. Shame on whoever is making this decision. I am seriously thinking about switching to mail order through my insurance instead. I have been with CVS for 10+ years and this is the worst I have ever seen. Worst pharmacy you could EVER have to use. This is not based on just one interaction this is based on multiple interactions with the extremely incompetent "staff" that CVS allows to represent themselves. After having a civil our long surgery, my husband brought me here to pick up medication and the pharmacist actually said that they had other people as well that had medication waiting to be filled. It was at like 10 o'clock at night and my husband just asked when it would be ready and he said tomorrow I had to explain that I just had major surgery and it was kind of just wiped off as if it didn't matter then Over a week ago my doctor called in a prescription and they never even let me know that they didn't have it. I got the text but it was ready whenever you come to this location bring a lunch and a movie because you're gonna wait in line for about half an hour before you even get to the window so I wait in line oh we don't have it will have it by Tuesday so I come back on Tuesday and guess what I wait again for half an hour nothing even if you try to call these idiots you're still not gonna get through it. Talk to anybody for a good 20 minutes so finally after over a week I get a hold of somebody and I said look I'm not trying to get the new nail color I'm trying to get my medication. Why don't you call the doctor and tell them you don't have it in stock oh I guess we could've done that was their response so they go in and they will call the doctor and let you know when it's ready and of course they never do. I am without question removing all of my things I don't even live near here and will never come back to this stupid place again save yourself the headache and the frustration when you're already not feeling well especially for a child and go somewhere else. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY! I REPEAT DO NOT GOT TO THIS PHARMACY. KEEP RIDING PASS OR FIND A DIFFERENT PHARMACY. I came here January 8th 2024 to refill my prescription of just birth control and unfortunately they didn't have enough in stock. I asked the technician to just partial fill my medication and when the remainder of the birth control comes in stock I would still have my 3 month supply instead of a 1 month supply. She proceeded to tell me that the pharmacy cannot partial fill which I never heard of and that if I do the 1month supply I would still be able to get my 3 month supply after my 1 month is over. After I was close to running out for my 1month I made sure to call in advice like she told me too. Nobody ever picked up the phone so I went inside. I asked the lady could she make sure my birth control was a 90 day supply (3 month supply) she told me that it was my insurance and that my insurance wants me to have Optum rx or mail order I told her that couldn't be right. Called my insurance it was nothing restricting me from getting a 90 day supply. It seems as if the technician really didn't want to look into or figure out what was going on and I got pushed to the side. I no longer wanted to speak with that technician when I came back in because apparently she didn't have a clue what she was talking about. I explained to a different technician the issue. She did go to look into it, but had to ask the the same lady I didn't want to speak with a question because she didn't know. The technician that I spoke with the 1st time simply said "I told her she has to call her insurance" I stated back that I did and that it was no restrictions. Then come to find out my prescription was changed to a 30 day supply which took away from my 90 day supply prescription and left me with no choice but to get a 30 day supply until my prescription runs out. I stated to the the technician that she needs to let her other colleagues let people know so it won't be any confusion. The Technician proceeded to get smart back about how she not over her technicians. I completely wanted to change my pharmacies right then and there and now I'm currently having issues with that because CVS is telling the other pharmacy that I have no active prescriptions. The hold time is ridiculous and this is from 2 different phones at the same time ! Again I don't recommend this pharmacy at all ! read more

Incompetent staff and Incompetent pharmacist and an incompetent manager on duty. I was told my medication was ready to be picked up and when I arrived. The person at the window said my medication was not ready to come back in 30 minutes. My child is sick and I told the Person at the at the window if it's only gonna be 30 minutes I'll just wait here and she said OK after waiting about 15 minutes they proceeded to close the windows and not service me. I sat out there for one hour until I decided to go into the pharmacy I asked to speak to the manager they said they do not currently have a manager on duty and I asked why were the windows closed? Everyone said they didn't know they weren't sure. I did get my medication for my sick child but the customer service was inexcusable and was nonexistent. No one could tell me why they closed the windows. I am very upset. This is a horrible practice , I do not recommend anyone waste their time at this pharmacy. Racist manager Brenden who said I can sit out there and wait in the drive-through until I was blue in the face and he did not care what kind of manager is that absolutely piss poor customer service, customer empathy, and he should be terminated immediately read more

I can only agree with the majority of others who submitted reviews of the CVS on Charles Hardy Parkway, Dallas. However, as one customer wrote, there needs to be a negative rating of -10. Terrible pharmacy, absolutely the worse I have ever visited, awful customer service, unfriendly/rude/hateful/argumentative staff. I have dealt with staff who were totally unknowledgeable about my medications and could not answer my questions. Just last week, I was at the drive-thru (48 minutes wait) to pick up several prescriptions. I was there to pick up 5 scripts that I had been notified were ready for pick up. When I got to the window, there were 2 scripts ready. The representative wanted to argue with me that CVS had not sent me notification that the other meds were ready. I showed her the notifications texts I had received. She had nothing to say in response. I was told that one prescription had never been filled at CVS and they couldn't fill it without a prescription. I have taken the medication for years and it has only ever been filled at CVS, never at another pharmacy. My prescription bottle was at home and, frankly after this particular visit, I didn't feel like going back to verify with the pharmacy that, yes, they had been filling this medication! One of the other three scripts, the representative put in for a refill (now remember I had a text from 2 days prior showing it was available for pickup). The third medication, she told me I had picked it up 4 days before. WRONG, I had not even been out of my house in a week! I was completely out of some of these medications and depended (foolishly, on the texts messages I had received from CVS) that they would be available when I arrived. I had gone online to order these refills and they were all accepted to be filled. (By the way, the above script that your representative told me had never been filled by CVS was one of the meds I was able to order for refill!) Unfortunately, these issues are the norm for this location. My daughter has similar horror stories to tell and some of them are scary. Calling is a joke. My daughter called the pharmacy one day and after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, she decided to drive to the store while remaining on hold. After sitting in the drive thru and arriving at the window, she at been on hold for 1 hour and 45 minutes.) She showed her phone to the representative who did not say one word. No apologize, not even a greeting! I have been on hold for literally hours (all total) and the overwhelming percentage of those calls were never answered. Going through the drive-thru is tremendously frustrating and I always take a book to read while I sit in line. Going inside for service is just as bad as sitting in the drive thru! Auto fill is useless! Why do medications just drop off the list for no reason? Medications that have been on auto fill for years suddenly disappear and I'm expecting a text any day notifying me the script is ready for pickup when it isn't even in the process of being filled. I sincerely hope that someone at CVS reads this. You need to do better. Do you want to do better? You're making money hand over hand but do you care about your reputation at all? Shame on CVS for not caring about their customers and only thinking about their profit! read more

It is nearly 2:00 AM and I am incredibly angry. My child was having an asthma attack. I had the meds, and the machine but did not have a mask/bubble unit for the nebulizer, I had given mine to my grandchild. I go as quickly as I can to the local CVS 24 hour pharmacy, 495 Charles Hardy Pkwy, Dallas, GA. There are 3 employees at the pharmacy counter, an Asian man, a white woman and a black woman. Though they knew I was standing there, they won't make eye contact. I finally interrupt them and ask for a nebulizer mask, saying, "my child is having an asthma attack." They wave me off, "go check aisle 8 or 9." No mask. I go back to the pharmacy, "Please, my child is having an asthma attack, it is an emergency." They rudely say, "you have to have a prescription." I look at them dumbfounded. "What do you mean, I need a prescription, Kroger carries nebulizer masks. This is an emergency." They said, "Well, this isn't Kroger." I look at them as if they are aliens in disbelief. Again, I try to be certain we are talking about a disposable nebulizer mask, not the machine, and they refuse to sell me the mask. By this time they are sneering at me, wagging their heads and have zero empathy that they are endangering my child's life. They refused any assistance, any help, ICE COLD. I am on the verge of tears and THEY DON'T CARE. Do not shop at CVS Pharmacy! read more

The employees are nice enough. But their processes are completely broken. Many times I have found myself waiting in line (because they are super busy) for a RX only to be told the RX isnt filled (despite notifications stating its ready) and I am then sent to another line to wait some more to request a refill...why cant the same employee from the 1st line just put in the refill? No one has that much time to just waste. Its ridiculous. I will be transferring my RX to a new pharmacy. They need a larger work area and more employees because this location cant handle the volume. read more

By far the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I called to check on prescriptions that are being filled and I'm usually on hold typically for 30 to 45 minutes. And when I finally do get through to someone they hang up the phone and I have to call back again. I was told that I had never filled a prescription there which was a lie, because the pharmacist who answered the phone didn't even look up Any of my info. It was if I was bothering her to do her job. I would not recommend this pharmacy and less you want shitty customer service. I've had numerous problems with this pharmacy and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. read more

I went by location 5622 at 7:30pm today to fill my BP pressure medication. I was in a Panic because i had allowed my medication to run out and now i had NONE. After consulting with the Pharmacist on duty the young lady who took my prescription at the drive through window informed me that they had to order my medication and that because it was now after six p.m. i would have to wait until day after tomorrow. Needless to say i was now REALLY worried! Before i went to bed at around 10 p.m i decided to follow up and make sure that the order was placed so that there would be no further delay. So Karen answered my call and explained what had transpired earlier today. She placed me on hold for a few minutes and when she came back to the phone she informed me that they DID have my medication in Stock OMG- What a Relief!!! She could have easily gone along with what i was told earlier- BUT she went the EXTRA Mile She CHECKED Thanks again Karen- you are both a Sweetheart and a LifeSaver KUDOS read more

I unfortunately have to use CVS due to my insurance guidelines. This is the worst pharmacy. Half the time the prescription you need is not in stock and they have to order it. Then you have to wait 3 days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't run out of insulin before my order comes in. It's absolutely ridiculous that they don't have medications at the pharmacy especially if your an established patient and you pick up the same damn prescriptions every 90 days. read more
