I called the same day hoping to get in, and I was told to come on in! I had called another salon and was not given a clear answer, so I really appreciated how straightforward and accommodating Sabour was. This was my first time getting my hair professionally done in about 3 years, so I was a little nervous, but everyone there was so kind, patient, and welcoming. The salon itself was very clean, and had a calm, comfortable atmosphere. I had a consultation before my service, and they really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I received full gray coverage (Demi color, I think), some type of steam/conditioning treatment, a silk press, and a much needed trim. I don't remember the exact name of everything, but my hair was soft, healthy, and beautiful afterward! I just hate that I forgot to take a picture! The color held together very well until the gray roots started coming back, and the softness lasted until I washed it myself about two weeks later (I tried to recreate the salon softness on my own, but failed:). Now I will say this: I'm not used to spending over $100 on my hair, so paying over $200 definitely hurt my feelings a little, but at the same time, the quality of the service and the results made it worth it. I don't go to salons often because of the cost, but I would definitely return when I'm ready to treat myself again. If you're looking for a friendly salon that delivers great results, I would definitely recommend them!

The owner Halima put me on a regimen of taking probiotics and getting the scalp therapy and hydration treatments which has left my scalp dandruff & flake free!!! Like I told HaLima, I just can't believe it!! If you have hair damage and scalp problems like me I sincerely recommend visiting this shop. The atmosphere is also warm and welcoming. But like most kohls x Sephora locations it was packed (i was there on a Tuesday around noon) and there weren't enough staff to deal with it and like I have experienced in the past at other locations children literally running around like it was a McDonald play place with no adult supervision. Once again I got run into by a child. No apology from their parents or staff. I never found the item I was looking for as I left immediately after, quite annoyed. I try to avoid these because again this is not the first time I have been run into by a child at a Sephora x Kohls. But please parent your children. It's not safe for them, for other guests, or for the store. (And reminder there are glass samples on the shelves that could break if knocked onto the floor)

What a fantastic portrait studio experience!…read more After deciding to buy into the ads from JcPenney on the clock app, I figured that my little family and I could see how a session went there before paying double for a local shoot. Getting an appointment online was incredibly easy and they even offer some great deals along with multiple backgrounds and even props. I haven't been to JcPenney since I was a child but this one wasn't any different. The store was huge, clean and packed with different holiday decor and gifts alike. When we entered, we had no clue where to go and this nice woman was at the front of the store assisting anyone who walked in and she guided us to the studio. The studio itself is soooo small! But I can't blame JcPenney, they probably didn't know that their photo sessions would go so crazy but, they have - time for more space. There were seats for about 6 people and our Doona stroller embarrassingly took up more foot space than expected. Business is definitely booming back there though! Despite our set appointment, we didn't actually get into our shoot until an hour later because there was so much traffic. Honestly, that wasn't ideal but we totally understood because when we got into our session with our 8month old - he showed out lol. Leaving us to take an extra 20+ minutes than most probably because we were feeding and bribing a baby to smile. Our photographer was AWESOME. He was incredibly patient, kind and did all he could to make our son smile. We left with a number of great pictures that we'll be able to share for years to come and with their special(s), we walked out paying a little over $100. Not bad at all, we'll be back to snap some shots in the studio again!
