He always seems friendly and appears to like his job. In the evenings, a young man works the counter (I'm assuming the son or grandson of the man from the morning). He is either surly or indifferent about anyone shopping at the store. I make it my personal mission to ask him lots of pointless questions about nothing in particular and to be as cheerful as possible. I'm sure he thinks I'm crazy, but the look on his face when I walk in the store is like getting two bucks off the six pack of beer that I'm just about to buy. Last time I was there he had a friend with him behind the counter and they were both playing game-boys like a couple of 12 year old boys. I asked him what they were playing and he mumbled something about different games... Not sure what that means, so I asked him how much they charged for a $1 lottery ticket then bought a candy bar and walked out. Please note: If you want to use a credit card you have to buy more then $10 in a single purchase.

The aisles were a little closer together and had a variety of offerings in each of the different categories of items on the shelves. Warm/prepared food items were available as were fresh donuts. What caught my eye on my candy-seeking pursuit was a king size pink lemonade KitKat bar. They had some other limited edition candy offerings including the Reese's medals that are on the shelves in-sync with the 2024 Summer Olympic Games (opening ceremony on Friday 26 July 2024). I was at the counter waiting to pay and noticed that particular item... While alluring, it was the KitKat I went with as the Games had yet to begin. The cashier was warm and friendly in her demeanor. Parking was located directly out front of the store and off to one side. I had difficulty seeing one patron when backing out, though fortunately he saw me, so there was no collision.

I tried to redeem my points, but they kept telling me no. I was confused about why, so I asked, and he got angry and said I didn't have enough. So, be warned: they'll take your money and be incredibly rude.

After parking my car in an open spot, I went inside looking for a magazine to buy. Walking around the store, I found the newsstand section and a number of timely magazine covers. The magazines display made it so I could readily read the names of the different magazines. I opted for a LIFE magazine Jimmy Carter commemorative edition with a pre-tax price tag of $14.99. The copy showed no wear nor markings. In a different section, seasonal offerings - Valentine's Day on this visit, were varied and taste bud-piquing. To make both of my purchases timely in nature, I opted for a package of red velvet Reese's peanut butter cups. Workers at checkout were clear in communication and I encountered no issues with payment (total of less than $19 with tax for both items). I found the parking lot busier when I left than when I arrived.

I guess Walgreens isn't making enough money to properly staff their buildings.

They NEVER have…read morethe products you might really like because they FAIL TO REPLACE THEM AFTER THEY'VE BEEN SOLD!!! Completely asinine. The regular workers (Jack mainly) are super friendly and will often go out of their way to help you. For example everytime I buy cup of noodles he fills it up with water & gives me silverware that HE BOUGHT HIMSELF! On the other hand if I buy from the lady owner she'll INSIST ON CHARGING ME FOR BOTTLED WATER instead of using the faucet to fill it up. She even TOOK AWAY THE MICROWAVE SO WE CAN'T HEAT UP THE FOOD ANYMORE!!! SMH. And the husband is a TOTAL PRICK!!! I've NEVER SEEN HIM SMILE NOT ONE TIME IN THE 7 YEARS I've been there. He constantly complains if I happen to use my debit card more than one transaction per visit. Like dude I'm buying MORE STUFF FROM YER STORE RELAX!! In conclusion the owners need to seriously chill the F out and actually start replacing the products people are buying frequently. Stop assuming that everyones gonna steal from your store its totally rude how you stare at the customers when we're shopping. And listen to your employees more often they know ALOT MORE THAN WHAT YOU GUYS THINK THEY DO.
