I am…read moredealing with severe pain from a tooth infection, and my prescription was sent by a physician who also practices pain management. Instead of simply addressing whether the prescription could be filled, I received a phone call with what I felt were excessive and unreasonable questions about my prescriptions and medical treatment. Unfortunately, this isn't my first experience like this with Walgreens. I previously had a similar problem at the Walgreens on Main ave CLifton, NJ. It felt as though every possible obstacle was being created to avoid filling a legitimate prescription rather than trying to help a patient who was in significant pain. The entire experience left me extremely uncomfortable and frustrated with how these pharmacies handle certain medications., TO TOP THIS OFF, THEY DID NOT GIVE ME MY MEDICATIONS. I also have serious concerns about why patients are being put through this process and believe Walgreens management should review these practices closely. I am not accusing any particular employee of wrongdoing without evidence, but the experience was concerning enough that I believe the handling and accountability surrounding these medications deserves scrutiny. Based on my experiences, I would strongly recommend considering another pharmacy.

DON'T KNOW HOW TO EDIT MY ORIGINAL REVIEW, BUT AFTER TRYING TO TRANSFER MY RX's elsewhere, I have…read moreto rate The Medicine Shoppe only a 1! They denied having refills for my medications to transfer that I found out later from my doctors was NOT true! They wasted my time (at least 3 calls to the new pharmacy to determine status of transfer and the new pharmacy trying to access my Rx's by falsing stating they had no refills when the doctors had recently called them in on multiple Rx's.) Found them rigid and difficult to coordinate multiple medications. Asked them to stop automatic refills so I could time my medications so I could pick up all/most of them at one time, but they would continue to automatically fill and I would have medications waiting weeks on end because of it. I would get reminder calls to pick up and tell them I wanted to wait a week to pick up all when they were all ready to avoid multiple pick up dates and I'd get another reminder call the next week about the waiting medications. This happened multiple times. Was given misinformation several times, telling me to call my physician for refills they already had or that a refill was holding up an order when it was actually the timing of the next refill. I felt I spent a lot of time trying to coordinate my medications with them and just couldn't get a system down that worked. The fact that they don't have online access made it particularly dificult in my case where I have a lot of medications to coordinate and the only way to know what was what was to have to call the pharmacy each time (and in my cases as mentioned I was given the wrong information several times)
