I was in the store today to pick up pictures. The cashier tried upselling me on the rewards program. She said it was a FREE 30 day trial and that they needed a card on file for the upcoming charges in a month. Tried it 3 times and it didn't go through. Went to another register where she handled everything on the touch screen (because I assumed she knew what she was doing) and my card got charged $24. I told her 4 times to cancel it and refund my money AND SHE CONTINUED TO TRY TO CONVINCE ME TO KEEP THE PROGRAM! Meanwhile, the line was six people deep and her only concern was me keeping the upgraded rewards program. Then she tried to give me $24 in coupons to make up for it! I started crying out of anger and called customer service in my car. And the operator STILL tried to convince me to keep it! They said it was still pending and I needed to call back tomorrow. I've been going here for years. Never again. read more

Ok. I forgot CVS has a Minute Clinic. I was directed here to get a TB test/result. I went on to cvs.com and entered my zipcode and it gave me the location closest to me. I was able to select walk in or make an appointment. Very easy. If you make an appointment, I suggest arriving at least 20 min prior as you have to checkin at a kiosk and there's plenty to read. The pharmacy cannot help you with the kiosk and there isn't anyone to assist as the Nurse Practitioner is in with patients. Once signed in make sure to stay in the area. There's a board to the left of the sign in kiosk that tells you how long before you're seen however it changes quickly and the wait time could be less. They will pass you by if you're not around. Atmosphere: clean Service: Brittany assisted me. She was very nice, cordial and helpful. She took the time to tell me what services one could receive at the minute clinic and prices. The process was very quick. After completing my appointment with the Minute Clinic, I decided to look around the store which was very clean and well stocked.The associates know the store and were very helpful. I needed makeup and the Manager Anna came and was able to assist me. This was very helpful. Overall my experience with both Minute Clinic and the Store was very good. Been Going Here For Years .. I get alot of prescription medication and Pharmacy Staff are Very Helpful. Especially John (Pharmacy manager) who has gone out of his way to help me a few times. and most of the Techs that work there. Ive had some isolated bad incidents as would happen after going to any business for years. but they were always misunderstandings with Pharmacists who were filling in from other stores or staff members who were there temporally. Having persisted for years, because of convenient location, in the hope this CVS would, after an incident this week, I have decided to change pharmacies. On my third attempt to buy tylenol at this store, it is now locked so I have to get a sales assistant to gain access, and failing to find anyone, I ask at the pharmacy desk if they could help. they said they could not. I explained, calmly, that this was my third attempt and I would have to go to Walgreens, to which I was told by a pharmacy staff member "fine, you go right ahead, go to Walgreens ". I thought this unprofessional and unmerited. I will no longer give cvs my business, as clearly they do not need it. read more

So was just here and used the bathroom , they had 2 before Covid it appears one now has a piece of paper taped to the top and says employees only ..... So I used the other ( public restroom) and it was beyond dirty ( I am a man and don't complain about bathroom cleanliness normally ) So I was going to attempt to wash my hands and I saw on the sink there was 2 Drug bags . Do not go to the minute clinic at this location. Candice the Nurse practitioner at this location should have her license revoked . I've been feeling worse and worse for 3 days now , I came home sick from work because I was unable to make through the day . She rushed my visit , did not check my temperature and told me to take over the counter meds 5-10 days . So my insurance as billed $130 plus my 30$ copay and a half of a day off work so the nurse could tell me to take DayQuil ( mind you , I've been taken over the counter meds for 3 days). Came here to visit the minute clinic after I suspected strep throat. My regular physician isn't very close to my house and this wasn't an emergency so, after looking up urgent care places by me, I decided to go with the Minute Clinic here. I reserved my spot online and was seen exactly on time. The nurse practitioner took a thorough history over a half hour. Never would that happen at a regular primary care visit where you get 7-10 mins if you're lucky. She swabbed my throat, which came back positive, and prescribed me with antibiotics. I waited at the pharmacy for another 5 mins and was on my way. Service was prompt and courteous. I will definitely use this minute clinic for my family and me in the future. read more

cvs now has covid-19 testing and it is impossible to use the drive-up window to pick up prescriptions. i am over 70 and have no intention of going into the store. i keep receiving phone notices that my prescription will be "put back on the shelf" if i don't pick it up. each time i've tried to pick it up there are at least six cars ahead of me, each taking 15 minutes for their test. i'm going to try to transfer prescriptions to walgreens. read more

The place itself isn't bad at all. You can find some good sale prices here and there, and the cashiers seem friendly. The problem is the pharmacy. The techs seem annoyed by everyone that comes in, and even more annoyed if you ask to pick up more than one rx. Every time I go in there the line's at least 2 or 3 deep and the pharmacists and the techs just stomp around looking mad or stare at the computer screens. I work for a doctor's office, and often have to call in rx's to this pharmacy. Since both my fiance and myself are also patients, the doctor allows me to call in refills for us. So I called in refills the night before, figuring I'd pick them up the following night. I called the the pharmacy the following morning to make sure they'd recieved the requests. You would have thought I called and insulted this woman's mother. She was irritated I called, and irritated the person who was picking up the rx (that would be ME!) didn't know that she already had refills. I tried to explain that I knew I had refills and was simply calling to save myself and the charming CVS staff some trouble. But it was no use. I love to shop there but I will have to find a new pharmacy! read more

I always have a great experience at the CVS on Bethlehem pike in flourtwon. They are well organized and the head pharamicist it great. I came in today asking for OTC medication for my daughter's eczema which are basically nasty blisters on her hand. The pharmacist took the time to walk out and show me the medications. You don't get that kind of service everywhere you go. read more

If you're coming here for your pharmacy needs, the friendly, knowledgeable staff will take good care of you. However, and I find this a common annoyance in most drug stores, the aisles are just too damn small; it seems like a half-dozen customers can block up the whole store. It seems they inhabited this location long ago and have since jammed it full of snacks, candy, and cheesy seasonal goods. Convenient location adjacent to the Flourtown Farmers' Market. read more

The pharmacy here is filled with idiots. Complete idiots. Had 2 prescriptions for my dog filled here because its so close. First time they took forever because they spelled my last name wrong of the script. Next, refilled it, ok, that one was fine. Now next refill. Refilled online, said it would be ready by 2pm. Now 9:30pm, and the GF is waiting almost a half hour because they can't find it under my last name. Says I didn't submit it. She asks if they can just refill while she waits. They then say "oh, it's a refill?" So another 15 minutes waiting till they find it under my name. Seriously people? As much as I hate Walmart, CVS could learn a few lessons from them. This rating is for the pharmacy. They are extremely aggressive about refilling prescriptions regardless of whether or not you need the refills. I took an Rx off of rapid refill because they were filling the prescription way faster than needed and now I get repeated calls from their corporate office trying to get permission to fill the prescription. I called the store to ask them to stop calling me and was told that I would need to contact corporate. I just want them to stop calling me!! read more

I still like going to this pharmacy because the girl I give my scripts to is always so sweet, so is the one manager up front. The one pharmacist there (with the brown short hair, glasses) is always so grumpy! She is never nice to customers, she gives you attitude if you have a question. I went in one day last week to ask a very simple question. I went to the question window and one of the other staff members approached me, asked if I needed help right away. I asked my question, she informed me only a pharmacist could answer me and one would be over shortly. AFTER 5 minutes of waiting, and the girl politely reminding her I was waiting she huffed over "yeah can I help you?" Like I was bothering her. She needs to check her attitude. read more
