December 7, 2025: Despite these assurances, the store again failed to provide the required documentation. I waited over 25 minutes and, due to the delay, suffered a panic attack and left without my prescribed anxiety medication. Corporate Contacts Reached and Responses: David A. Falkowski, Chief Compliance Officer: Received multiple formal complaints regarding recurring HIPAA non-compliance; no satisfactory resolution at store level. Still the worst pharmacy ever. Scrip called in at 9am, at 4pm, still not ready, Mrs is told to come back in an hour. Goes home, 5 min drive, or less, text message received that scrip is ready. Zero customer service. Shameful. I had a simple question. Nobody picks up the phone without putting you on hold and eventually hanging up. I am a frequent customer of the CVS on Northwest Drive in Farmingdale and have to say Domenica, the pharmacist is one the the most caring and helpful individuals I have ever dealt with. Even though she is busy most of the time, she always has a smile on her face and always assists with my questions which I'm sure can be annoying. ++++++ read more

Want to report my very rude interaction with the African American employee at the pharmacy counter. She was obnoxious and rude and walked away from me when I still had questions on picking up a prescription. She needs to be retrained on her customer service skills or go take a job where she doesn't interact with people who have questions! read more

This review is based on my customer service. Every time I walk in I get a nice greeting from the sweet girl at the counter. I believe her name was Melissa. She's so helpful and very friendly. You don't see that very often anymore. It's so refreshing to see someone who's not miserable to be working. Good job girl! read more

Since I've been to other CVS stores that were really awful I have to say this CVS has always been pretty good. I've been coming to this particular location since it opened. It always seems to be in order, neat and clean when I go in. Of course as with anything there are times when things can go quicker, their pharmacy line is always a long wait no matter when you seem to go. Occasionally I'll get lucky but it's rare to not wait in line to pick up a prescription. Drop-off can take some time too but it's usually quick. This location always has a huge line to check-out up front on the weekends. They usually move pretty fast when they have back-up available. During the week it's ok but Sat or Sunday morning you will wait in line! (But I honestly believe you will at most pharmacy type of stores anyway on weekends.) I have to say though that there are a few employees at this location who have been here a long time and are always pleasant, there is one woman not sure of her name but she's always very nice. Overall throughout the years I have to say this location has been pretty good and reliable. read more

Just received a call from CVS Pharmacy and spoke to Ruby about refilling two of my prescriptions. She discussed my copays and asked if I would like one of them to 30 days versus 90 days due to the high cost. I told her that I appreciated her suggestion however requested the 90 days. She went out of her after I asked about Good RX and looked up their pricing. As a result I'm now saving $100.00 in my copay, how great was this someone looking out for a retired senior. She exceeded my expectations and is a valuable employee with excellent customer service read more

Frustrated beyond belief. My son bought a Kohl's gift card for his grandfather for father's day, and when he went to use it, it was declined. Kohl's said the card was not activated correctly. My dad went back to CVS and they said, he had to call their corporate headquarters to "investigate" why the card was not working. He gets a call seven days later to say; there is nothing wrong on their end it is Kohl's problem. WRONG!!!! my son gave CVS money in good faith. They have not honored their end. Not to mention, my dad is 80 years old and they have him running all over the place to figure out their mistake. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get my money or another card back. read more

I used to be a regular here in years past but since working next door to another CVS, I don't come to this 1 really anymore (plus it's rather small)... but what was impressive was the customer service from the manager named Larry. CVS has been offering a free item once a week (via their app) & the CVS that I work next door/am a regular at, has been out of them. I happened to come here twice (since I do live close to this location), once to check out the new lidl next door & the other bc I had gone to the farmingdale library & was passing this 1 on my way home. Both times, like the other CVS, they've been out of the free items too (get it together corporate CVS!), but Larry offered me something else; the 1 item was cotton rounds & he offered me a lesser amount but "premium" package. The other item was GE veggie chips & he offered the GE veggie sticks instead. Maybe something like this doesn't mean much to some people but this meant a lot to me. The other CVS didn't offer an "in place of" item & said no to a raincheck. On that second visit, I got a survey in my email. I made sure to take it citing Larry & the cashier named Jessica, requesting for my praise to make it back to the store. I didn't request a contact back but I did get an email from the store manager named Dolores thanking me for my feedback... thank your employees for their willingness to offer exceptional customer service. They have the most helpful staff that I've ever encountered. If I use my CVS card and coupons, I save a fortune. I've only had a couple of glitches at the actual pharmacy. Either they didn't have the drug and had to order it, or they got locked out of their lock box (for pain medication), and I had to wait. That can be tough on a cancer patient, but they always handled the situation with a smile, and go out of their way to correct anything that's gone wrong. They are a well trained, hard working team at both the pharmacy and the actual store. read more
