This Walgreens was the only spot open. So I was pleasantly surprised to see its transformation as a Kroger pick-up spot, which means it now has a modest produce section as well. It's also bright and clean. It looks like the rest of the store has undergone a makeover as well. The staff wore masks, and there was signage urging people who are unvaccinated to wear masks too. I wish everyone still had to wear masks, but oh well. About half of the customers I saw wore masks. My opinion of this Walgreens has definitely improved. I bet I will be stopping in again soon when I'm back in town to visit family.

My doctor has sent in prescriptions on 3 different occasions and none of them were filled. Two of the times they were sent in they never received them. She sent me proof that she sent them. The other time they didn't have the medication so they never filled it. I never got a call. I've had to call and speak to an employee 5 TIMES! They never know what's going on. The pharmacists yelled at the employees in front of my husband. Obviously there is a problem with them doing their jobs, but they just blame everyone else. Today was they last straw when they never received my prescription and took absolutely no blame and told me it was "fine" that I won't be using them anymore. I switched to Walgreens on 42, and haven't had any issues!

So they sent me to another Kroger's across town where my script was partially filled. When I called in about the rest of my script I was told I didnt NEED it. Due to my condition I have been instructed to eat 5 to 6 times per day (NOT 3) and I have to take this med each time I eat. So I was given about an 18 day supply. Meaning I'll be out this week and they refuse to give me the other half of my prescription. In effect due to their refusal I'll end up back in the hospital in a serious life threatening condition. Good job Kroger's!!! In reality, I now have to take even yet MORE time off work to contact my physician, have him contact Kroger's so they can allow me to follow my physicia's orders about how to take this med. sadly this is far from the first time a Kroger pharmacist has considered himself a better expert on my health than my physician. i will moving my prescriptions and my entire families, included my father in law (lots of medications) to CVS on 42. I'm quite sure they would love the additional thousands per month my family spends on medications. Kroger's pharmacists are not supposed to overriding my physician's orders. There were a couple other issues but it is supposed to be delivered today. We will see. They used to have free 2-3 day delivery. Now there's a $3.99 delivery fee for it and a $5.99 same day fee for terrible service & totally worse customer service. This isn't going to happen again. I've had it! They took my prescription and told me they'd contact me after running my insurance. I waited till the following Monday to call to be sure there were no problems and they informed me that they had faxed something to my doctor to confirm a diagnosis. I checked with my doctor and found they had not faxed anything at all. I called back to try and resolve the issue and they then informed me that they had no orders for me at all. They said the last time they had anything under my name was May of 2025. I had never even heard of this place until the day I walked in the door on Jan 2, 2026. All of the other negative reviews on this place sound spot on from my brief experience. Do yourself a favor. Don't let these people handle anything involving your health! Amazon will be delivering my nebulizer in the morning.
