I was told it was expected today and I said fine but still wanted delivery today on the available one. I called & was told i was the 4th caller & waited 21/2 hrs as 4 became 1 and then another 1/2 hr or more with no reported calls in front of me & was then told the other one hadn't come in did I want the other one delivered? I paid for same day delivery. And now they ask if I want it delivered? This isn't the first time this has happened & I'm pretty over the incompetence it their staff! No apology, concern, nothing just do you still want it delivered? I asked if it could still be delivered today & she said yes. There were a couple other issues but it is supposed to be delivered today. We will see. They used to have free 2-3 day delivery. Now there's a $3.99 delivery fee for it and a $5.99 same day fee for terrible service & totally worse customer service. This isn't going to happen again. I've had it! I have them 1 star because they didn't have a lower rating. just so youre aware!

Now let me explain, I'm a 76 year old, white haired, Army veteran. I explained that I did not have my wallet but I did have photo of my driver's license on my iPhone. The clerk was emphatic that without my actual driver's license she would not sell me the wine, "corporate policy". I offered to show her both a photo of my driver's license AND my US passport. She refused both and again stated it's "corporate policy". Had not a lady behind me offered to use her driver's license I would not have been sold the wine. Where has common sense gone, if anyone saw me, they would say that "old dude", he's definitely over 21. I'll leave it like this, Walgreens just lost a future customer.
