Most CVS stores unfortunately all look the same, and this one is included. I was in the area and needed a few things from a drugstore, so I went here. The store looked like a bomb hit it, as most do. There were bins with sale items in the front, and the register was on the side with bins in front of it. When I went to the register, the associate said she wasn't open and that the person who should be was coming. I just ended up going to self-checkout and only bought one item instead of the 6-10 items I actually needed. The store looks like a complete mess, with a lot of barely stocked shelves. read more

This CVS is pretty much like most other locations when it comes to customer service and having a lot of items locked up. They did have some different deals and a few items that I couldn't find at other stores, which was a nice surprise and definitely a plus. The biggest issue was the self checkout. It kept glitching and messing up during the transaction which made the entire process very frustrating. It would have been faster to just have a cashier step in and handle it all. read more

I experience unprofessionalism at this pharmacy. The store's pharmacy manager refused to help me the customer) who's been waiting on the front of the line (I'm the only one in the line, waiting), more than 10 minutes. There were 2 empty cashiers. As soon as I requested for assistance, the store manager who herd me immediately told her colleagues to closes the gate as I was on front of the line. She ignored me and immediately told her staff to tell me "we are out to lunch". This was frustrating. A potentially problematic situation. read more

Terrible pharmacy. I've been there 4 times now for a new medication and each time there is a different issue. They treat you badly, they can't find your prescription, they can't work the register.....you name it. Also, my first time picking up the medication, a pharmacist was supposed to advise me/ask about my questions or concerns with administering. She didn't bother . Thanks for nothing pharmacists! Great service and the pharmacist is always available if u have questions to any medication's or need a recommendation. Also never crowded which is also nice :) The only issue I have is the hours as the site says one thing and they say another. Make sure u call as I was told they are open Till 10 pm but I was wrong :( 9:00 pm But overall great staff always good energy read more

It's the worst pharmacy I've experience. A simple cream my doctor prescribed was not available and I have to wait for almost a week. The reason my symptoms got worst that I need to go to walk in clinic to get immediate treatment for infection. I was so sick that day, but I need to take my prescription. After a long wait in the line while in pain , I finally was able to asked for my meds. Unfortunately, the pharmacist told me my prescription tablet was not covered by my insurance that I need to call my doctor to request a capsule. I did and my doctor made a request right away. I understand there's many people, so I sat in the chair and waited for maybe for another 20 minutes, until the long line was almost finished. So there's only one man standing, but I feel like I'm almost hour there and I'm in pain. So I call the attention of the cashier I told her my med is ready. The man on the line gets mad at me, and the short brown cashier yelled at me from the top of her lungs that I'm not the only one there. Very unprofessional people. I noticed that the people are filling up because some pharmacists are just having fun talking. While the other one who's nasty is doing the job. I understand the stress but I don't think I deserve to be yelled at while waiting there for more than 30 minutes, giving way to all these elders to get their meds, while I'm in pain. I learned my lesson not to keep my mouth next time. I should have said something instead. This pharmacy should be reported to the authorities. They should treat people with respect. read more

This cvs is ridiculous! I came here for chap stick and it was locked up. Like who steals chap sticks?! Anyways, I was ringing the bell and the employees were taking forever to come to help me. I had to ring 3 times for an employee to get me the chap sticks. It was ridiculous and also no one was social distancing on the line to check out. I rather go to another location where I dont have to harass people to get chap stick. They had a lot of merchandise and the staff was nice. It is conveniently on Queens Blvd in Kew Gardens. This pharmacy is our go-to, since it's the closest and largest by us. Normally have no problems and I find what I need. Today one of the day managers, tall, African American in his 30's, was blocking where the Listerine was. I said excuse me, you're kinda of in the way of the Listerine. He ignores me and I let him know a few times that he was blocking. He finally moves, and says to me, the word is excuse me. He acted like a total douche and I told him I asked him 3 times. It grinds my gears when a person blocks the way on purpose and sees a person is looking for something in a hurry, and then they demand politeness. This guy never smiles and is rude. These people never answer the phone, they place you on hold and just wait for you to get frustrated and hang up I swear! The Pharmacy is a joke, they are 90% of the time rude and never know how to answer any questions. I have had situations where the casher gave me 3 different prices for the same medication and couldn't explain why different pricing kept popping up on his end. I feel like the "head" of the Pharmacy is always miserable looking and is trying to avoid dealing with customers by hiding in the back behind the divider/table. The line is always super long and they don't bother to announce when yours medication is ready so your just waiting around for 10-20 min for no good reason even after your pick-up is done. read more

Just as good or as bad as any of the other ten gazillion CVS drug stores that have probable eclipsed and supplanted Starbucks for the pod keepers for the alien invasion. In I went with the intention of a snack and a drink. The results are sad when you price compare the candy aisle with the snacks that are more healthy, which are just around the bend. Almonds were six dollars for the small tin, maybe fifty nuts inside, maximum, versus a party sized bag of Whoppers for three and change. I can but four Arizona iced tees for five dollars, but a quart of milk is almost four. Low cost for highly unhealthy calories. I bought the newspaper and left. read more

For some reason CVS locations always feel so dark to me. This one is no exception. Definitely not the most pleasant shopping environment. I don't frequent it too much since there's a Target within walking distance and Target is generally cheaper. One thing CVS does consistently sell for cheaper than Target is cereal. So I usually get my cereal from here when I catch a sale. I also like that this location self checkout. read more

I honestly couldn't think of the best words to say about the young lady who works in beauty very professional and profound, it amazes me that are people still put there like her who has a very good character built in her whom which shows so much heart and passion to her work ... she has very pretty exotic looking eyes. Today I went in the store seem like it was busy ...while I was not only stocking up on my neccessary needs but other personal things as well.. while I was there there were so many other people asking her multiple questions she remained positive and very sweet and very funny .... I needed that for the two weeks I had ...although I could not see her face with the mask on.... I will be coming back for her great service. The worst customer service I have experienced. I was on the phone for 5 hours for 5 days and nobody is picking up. I drop by twice to cancel the refill cause my provider made mistake, the tech on pick up counter, after lining up for 30 minutes, hoping she can assist me , refer me to the other counter and let me line again for the other counter. It's so inefficient. One time , when I pick up my medication, the line was long, but the tech are just chatting and so insensitive of the time of people in line. This has to be by far thee worst CVS possible.! My best friend has been having issues with this location for months now. Everytime she calls in a prescription theres an issue w/ paperwork or some unforseen formality. She was due to pick up her prescription today and called them only to find out the prescription wont be available until after the new year. To think they would have common courtesy to at least call people and let them know so they can attempt to get their prescription filled somewhere else - NOPE. Instead they lack the professional common courtesy that neighborhood pharmacy's should have. If your looking to get your prescription filled a month later - this is your best option. Now, I understand that its just a drug store... but I would rather take a bus to a different location. It was on the way home from Forest Hills so i stopped in to get some cold remedies. The store was extremly unorganized and cluttered. The items in the aisles have no real rhyme or reason.... they are just there to be there. I found a display case of theraflu where the feminie hygiene products were and walked over two aisles to the actual cold remedies. I dont think people generally shop impulsively for theraflu while trying to get some lady products... that just doesnt make sense. Now, if there was chocolate there... that would make more sense. The card aisle was in disarray. Mismatching envelopes. Sympathy cards next to wedding cards... that could be a fluke but still. The cash register area is a MESS. There were open bags of chips and cookies, probably being snacked on by the cashier (big No No) and piles and piles of stuff on the counter behind her. There is another drug store by my apartment and even though the lines are long, the place is neat and clean which is much more appealing. read more

This location is horrible! I was first on the line for the machines but my coupons were working so I was told to go to cashier. Waited on line again for 15 minutes, finally I get to the front and 2 people are trying to figure out why my coupon wasn't working ! They are chit chatting while 10 people are waiting and then they started to call a third person ! I put back the stuff and walked out. Conveniently this CVS sits near the Kew Gardens Union Turnpike E, F station. I would patronize this particular CVS location at least once a week, of a past residence for many years in the eye of Forest Hills, but recent visit has baffles me as it has not changed. Disorganized stock, empty merchandise on hooks to expose space, merchandise heavily plastered on floor. Hair care products are minimal selection. Further the line moves like a snail as customers are waiting an eternity to be served at check-out. read more

I recently switched to CVS pharmacy and I'm very happy with their service. You can register online and then just click click order your refills and pick them up when you specify. When I drop off a new prescription they often can fill it within 10 or 15 minutes. Join the extracare club and you will get tons of coupons. Love the self-checkouts also. read more

Now I love CVS especially since I'm from the South and I've never heard of Duane Reade until I relocated to the North. However, this has to be one of the worst CVS stores that I have ever been to. The store is disorganized. There are products that needed to be added back to the shelf. The lines are long, even with self-checkout service. The cashier is not friendly at all and I almost missed out on the chance to get my extra care bucks because he did not want to enter my phone number into the system. Shelves empty, mess on the aisles and long check out lines pretty much sums up this CVS. The employees can be clueless and rude at times. There's always boxed product or supplies on the aisles. When there's a sale, don't expect there to be stock as they're usually empty. I love the self check-out lanes, but it's always a mess trying to get to one. This is not the best CVS, but it's not the worst. The pharmacy staff are great; they will go out of their way to make sure your prescription gets filled, and they are polite and professional. The rest of the store...not so much. The store always looks somewhat messy, and you can walk around aimlessly for a half hour looking for something, and not one associate will ask you if you need help. They are definitely better at opening up another register if needed than other stores of their type, although the cashiers are hit or miss as far as courtesy goes. Parking is terrible in this area on weekdays; I recommend a weekend visit. read more

I shop at CVS all the time, but this is my least favorite location. A lot of the items I want or on sale on the circular ads not available at the shelves. I'm not sure whether this has to do with their busy location or their failure to stock the shelves properly. All the ladies here are helpful and friendly, except for one Indian man that looks like the manager/owner. He refuses to scan a lot of my coupons and claims they won't go through when I'm able to use them at other CVS locations. I wish they gotten rid of him as he's not very ethical person, but I highly doubt that'll happen anytime soon. read more

Pharmacy staff is excellent and the store itself is a good place to shop. I wish I could remember the name of the young woman who helped me last time because she deserves special praise. Very helpful. One quibble I have is the checkout. Is there one line? Two lines? One for self checkout and one for the human cashier? It's a very inefficient layout. I've seen an argument more than once about linecutting in the store because customers are confused about who is waiting for the cashier and who is waiting to use the self checkout. Management needs to make the checkout area more organized. read more

I like this CVS because its at a prime location for me. Its right next tot he station and a block away from my gym so I pass it at least 5 times a week. They always have the newest, latest products. When they have a sale boy is it a GOOD sale (don't ever buy anything there if its not on sale). They have a great rewards systems with those Extra Bucks. This CVS aside from being at a great location and having the latest products and the great rewards program is also newly remodeled with self check out's WHICH I LOVE! The store is really clean and again the offer a variety of goods for great sometimes free prices WHEN ON SALE!!! Do not try to go in there unless you know exactly what it is you are going to buy and more importantly if its on sale!!! What I hate about this CVS are the employees. Well not all for those that stumble upon this review. There are some nice ones. Mostly the younger employees are really nice. You know the ones that don't act like they own the store and every product in there was purchased with the money their dead mother left them. The ones I can't stand and avoid AT ALL COSTS are the older emplyees!!! I am SOOOOO thankful for those Self Check-Out lanes. I creep in there like the uni-bomber and slither away with my goods. The self check outs are AMAZING should you ever need to buy embarrassing goods like an enema or hemorrhoid cream. The manager on the night shift the one that dresses like he's about to go into a conference at Forbes is such an effing douchebag. And those miserable ladies working there are well... miserable. Minus one lady who I think is a manager and helped me with my coupons once. She is always behind the double sided mirrors upstairs. She's nice. Oh, I've recently begun couponing (IT SAVES A LOT OF MONEY) and they will take my coupons on days they feel like taking them. They wont take print out coupons from coupons.com they said they have to be originals. I damn near threw the stupid dental floss at that idiots face.
