Before staying in a long line i asked a pharmacist store clerk "If my order said its ready, does it mean its ready for pick up or i have to wait for it to be prepped" The store tech told me i just have to pick it up (No Waiting) I come back again in about 45 min wait in line get part of the order ask where is the rest of it? Im told they have it and i just have to go to the other line to pick it up. I go to the other line the lady told me they don't have it. I told her Farah who works told me it is there... Now im told i have to wait 30-40 min for them to prep it. (I did ask initially if i have to wait, and i was told no) The pharmacist store clerk which i initially asked started telling me he had to check it if its ready even though initially he said if its ready for pick up you don't have to wait. I explained my frustration that I'm there 3rd time today and the lack of communication is an issue here. A random pharmacist came in his defense and said "Oh we are busy today trying to accommodate all the customers and you are arguing" I responded I am very busy too and there is a lack of communication on your end. Her response was you are one, but all of our pharmacists are busy. Being rudely dismissive and not even aware of what issue is at hand. Let me tell you Lady who told me this... your Pharmacy's busy schedule does not supersede your customers. If you care about your business you would address this issue, if not just keep going, you are headed in the right direction. read more

This CVS sold $3000 in gift cards to an elderly woman ( 85+) without talking to her about the possibility of a scam. Gift card scams have been around a very long time and most retailers,including this one, have procedures in place to prevent their customers from this type of scam. When the cashier at CVS rings up a gift card of over $200 a warning appears on the register warning them of a possible scam, so why wasn't that told to this customer. The scammer actually told this woman to go to CVS, I wonder why !!!!!!! read more

I grew up near this CVS. It's always been my go-to. They have switched up the aisles a couple of times. I feel like they are jamming more aisles in such a small space. This was once my neighborhood CVS and I'm so glad it no longer is. The pharmacy staff just seems meh. They do not really want to be there - I get it, you may not like your job but a smile would be nice. Also, once I asked a question regarding meds and she just pointed down an aisle. "It's somewhere there." Um thanks. When I got down the aisle, some employees were just standing there talking. I said, "Excuse me" as the meds I needed were by their feet and they were in my way. They didn't budge. I had to loudly say it again, they were so involved in their conversation that they ignored me --- again. So, I just went on my knees and got the meds from the side! What?! Also, one time their computers were done when I was really sick. I asked them if there was a solution - should I just try and come back later or what - the pharmacist just shrugged. I eventually took my business elsewhere even though this store was within walking distance of my apartment. I'd rather drive somewhere else and get decent service. read more

I really like this CVS! Easy to find, nice location and a large parking lot with plenty of parking. Pretty big compared to the others in the area and it's open 24/7! Even at late night hours, they have quite a few staff members available that are knowledgable, friendly and always willing to go the extra step to help you. The Kiosk machine is great and handy when you need a visual of all your potential deal offers. I also happen to love how this particular cvs offers both a self service checkout and a regular check out. In general, I find the store to be clean and well stocked. I feel they offers more here than any of the other locals CVS Pharmacies (especially their beverage selection). This is the worst CVS store in State for sure. My husband and I went to there on 12/23 afternoon around 4pm and there was a cashier who performed very rude. While we were self check out, I scanned a code for one of my products and trying to grab a paper bag on my left hand side. He directly ran to us and said you can't do that. I am like what a ?!!! Are you serious? I cannot do what? Grab a paper bag on my left side? Then he just scanned it and put on the bag area and said you have to put it like this!! We were totally shocked!! Are you question us that we have never been to supermarket? ? He performed very aggressive and without any respect! I don't even ask him to touch my stuff. I highly recommended the manager in that store should take this serious. This is absolutely rude and non professional. I have never seen any of CVS has any employee like this. Shout out to the Saturday night shift supervisor, Robert. This is a 24 hours location and despite it being late Saturday night, there were quite a few people in the store. The toothbrushes were wiped out and Robert helped me grab a ton from the back. When checking out my coupons created some trouble and he resolved them without any complaint. This CVS is further away but the one near me closes at 6pm on Saturday. I'd definitely come back when I need to. read more

I had gotten my flu shot at another CVS in northern Jersey and told my mom to go to her local CVS to get one too. So she stopped by this location a couple of days ago. She told the pharmacy dept that she wanted to get a flu shot and they said that they don't have and they asked how old she is and when she said senior, they said that they don't have flu shots for seniors. BS!! And what does that even mean? All staff members need to be (re)trained! This is obviously false! Racism? Ageism? Unqualified employee?? who knows but this needs to get investigated. read more

We bought a bunch of gift candy here for a Vegan gift basket. The customer service was friendly a young man in the isle helped us a lot. The stock was low on what I wanted (Cracker Jacks and Nutter Butter cookies which I needed up getting at Pathmark). The customer service was good but the prices were too high. It was 60 cents more per candy than Pathmark. But I did get most of the candy here because it was still cheaper than a candy store. 3 stars for good service! read more

I've been a customer of this CVS for over 15 years. It's right across from my office and in the heart of Fort Lee. Pros: * The staff. The staff is very friendly. Many of the employees have been there for years. It's almost like seeing family (except no family squabbles). * Organization and cleanliness. Really, it's just a very well maintained store and it's easy to find what you need. If you can't find what you need, someone is always willing to help. Cons: * Parking Lot. The parking lot was bad enough when it was kings. The lanes are all one way and people ignore them. Now that H-Mart has moved in, it's really crazy. On the upside, I don't see quite as many carts banging into cars these days. H-Mart seems to do a better job collecting the carts. * Prices. I find CVS to be pretty expensive. Maybe I am just spoiled because I have "Gold" status at Rite Aid and get 20% off everything at the store. I now only go to CVS when I need something mid-day or I can't find what I need at Rite Aid. This is a great, solid choice for a drug store, though, perhaps a bit more expensive than Rite Aid, if you've managed to obtain "Gold" status there. (Rite Aid gold status is obtained by spending $1000/per year. Rite Aid is a block from my house, so I go there for all my toiletries and essentials. It's a grat deal to get 20% off whatever you buy all year). read more

I completely understand they are busy all the time, it completely understandable. So when they say 15 mins, I always grant them some extra time to fill the perceptions. However, how many times do I need to spell my name until they get it right. I don't have an accent and speak perfect English. I can only imagine what the Korean customers have to go through. Most people there are delightful, however there is one person that makes my trips terrible, if you have been there lately you know who she is. There seems to have been a very subtle, gradual decline in this store over the last 5 years. The fact that the sales stickers are removed 24 hours before the end of the week and the new, not-yet-effective, sales stickers are put up is one of my biggest complaints. There have been numerous times I have gone to purchase an item only to realize at the register that the advertised price is actually incorrect. Another major issue is the freezer, which is broken more often than not. When the freezer is down, there appears to be no urgency to address the issue. It usually takes a few weeks for CVS to address the issue, which inevitably reappears in short order. Given the chronic nature of the issue, I suspect there is no real understanding of the underlying cause or a decision has been made to not devote the resources to fix the issue. read more

Called to check if they had nebulizer in stock since they have been saying they are out of stock for months since my pediatrician prescribed it for my 4 month old son. I literally called months after, and I was told that they do not have it in stock. When asked when they will have it, they said they don't know. I asked what other cvs pharmacy had it in stock, the guy I talked to told me to "call around." Seriously? How can you be a pharmacy and 1. Don't have prescription devices in stock or don't even know when they'll be in stock 2. Not even be able to offer other options for your customers? Worst pharmacy ever. Take your business somewhere else - if they don't have your prescription, you're just out of luck. Ridiculous. read more

This CVS was okay before but each time I enter there now is some young employee who seems to alert everyone else with a horrible and loud greeting which I have noticed he does not give for anyone else who enters the store. They also claim to be 24/7, but they aren't open on most Sunday mornings where it would be helpful to live up to 24/7. The location is nice, and parking is nice other than that. read more

I would have given 1 star only EXCEPT for the fact that they're open 24 hours. That's the only good thing. The pharmacy staff is terrible. There are always disgruntled customers because of some mistake the pharmacists are making and I usually empathize with the staff, being a Healthcare professional myself. But today I called in a prescription and was put on hold for more than ten minutes, THEN was told that it was their policy not to accept call in prescriptions. WHAT? This CVS is open 24hours, generally well stocked, and super convenient. I also dig the self check out machines since there is normally only one or two cashiers. My family has had a longstanding positive relationship with the pharmacy. They have friendly pharmacists and a very organized system. For the above reasons, I won't minus more than 2 stars. I recently had an annoying experience getting my passport picture taken (which should be a simple task) at this CVS. The employee took my photo and told me that it would take about 5 minutes to print before he disappeared into the back room. I waited and shopped around the store, stopping back at the counter a few times. After 10 minutes I could see my photo was finished so I asked another employee to call the photo guy. He came out after a few minutes and apologized, saying he forgot about me. Great. Still, it's not that big of a deal, so I paid and left. Later, at the post office where I was applying for my passport, the very nice man helping me told me the photo was too dark and wouldn't be accepted if I sent it. I had to pay to take a new photo at the post office which, upon comparison, was much clearer and brighter than the first photo. Hm. You'd think if CVS offered a service, they would properly train their employees in conducting that service. So this CVS is totally fine for basic shopping and filling prescriptions... But I would not recommend it for Passport photos. read more

Pharmacy disorganized and need either more staff to accomodate large crowds during peak hours or be better organized. That is, if you survive all the bad drivers in Linwood Plaza and can park OK. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful nonetheless, but never go there after work unless you are prepared to wait in line for as long as 20 minutes while inconsiderate people use pharmacy lines to get their Rx but also check out baskets full of non Rx goods to avoid equally long main pharmacy line. Maybe it is just that there are a lot of rude people in Fort Lee. BUT good bargains on vitamins and other remedies if you have cvs card. Coq10 for instance, 2 for 1 regularly. read more

This pharmacy is so overcrowded that customers routinely cut in front of already waiting customers in line in order to be served quickly. The manager, Luis, didn't care when I tried to tell him that there is no place to stand in an orderly fashion and that he needs to put up a sign for people to line up properly. He said since the aisles are too narrow I should just tell a pharmacist. But the pharmacists are already frazzled trying to locate prescriptions from other customers. I already filed a complaint with CVS Customer Service today because they need to know how customers there are being treated. Cleary, Luis, the manager is of little help if any. He doesn't seem to care. The store needs better management, much better management, in fact. CVS needs a manager who respects his/her customers. Also the pharmacy is not open all night. If you are going to pick up prescriptions, you need to inquire when the pharmacy closes on the day you intend to go there. read more

I went to the CVS by my job today, I usually go there and the service is ok the cashiers are somewhat friendly. Anyways, point of my story is that I once again had nail polish drama. I went in with the intention of purchasing a nail polish specifically sheer satin slip (it's really cute by the way) anyways so their is a sign that says buy one get one free right underneath the polish. At this point I am standing looking at the colors and the annoying cosmetics lady walks by and asks do you need help so I ask her about the sign and she says yea the nail polishes are part of the sale. So I go to the register and the little old lady cashier that by the way doesn't speak english rings me up and says that I owe for both so I tell her well the cosmetics girl said these are part of the buy one get one free and thecashier stares at me like WHAT ARE YOU SAYING..... She says " no full price what you want me to do"? I'm thinking hello i want you to A . Actually help me and B. tell the cosmetics girl not to ask people if they need help if she doesn't even know what's going on. Went there on Sunday afternoon just to get over the counter Sudafed once I went to pay for it at the register they send me back to the pharmacy where there was still people there I presented the copy of the Sudafed the lady told me that she could not sell me the over the counter medicine because it was already 5:00 and they are closed and have to come back tomorrow at 8:00 am when they open the pharmacy. I look at her with so confused and ask her aren't you suppose to be open 24hr? She told me only the rest of the store. I was very surprised that I walk into a pharmacy that advertised that there open 7 days a week and 24hr a day but can't help me to get over the counter medication after 5:00 is like restaurant claiming that they are open 24 hours a day but only serve drinks. I left CVS and went straight to Walgreens in fort lee a few blocks away a real pharmacy open 24hr a day and they are more then happy to help you. I been a member of CVS for over 15yrs but have stop shopping there because if the unprofessionalism and the lack of stock in that store.
