This review is on the overall store, including the pharmacy. I haven't used the pharmacy very much, except to recently get a flu shot. But I did use it back in 2009 to get meds when I had the flu as a TCU student. That doesn't count for the purpose of this review? Ok, LOL. This CVS is a hidden gem. I usually come here in search of random items that they may or may not have. When I visit, it's usually with a coupon in tow so I leave with great deals and I'm a happy camper. Employees in both the main store and the pharmacy have been nothing but friendly to me. I haven't had any issues. I'll keep going back for my random needs. read more

By far the most unprofessional and unorganized cvs I've ever been to. I hate to say this but I should have known based on the location. There's a sign outside that says park here for covid testing and call this number. Tried calling the number on the sign and my call was directed to a call center in a different state. They finally get me to the local store and the worker says to come thru drive Thru. I suggested maybe removing the sign that says park here for testing and she tells me people still will get lost so there's no point. Find somewhere else to test. The last thing someone sick wants to do is play find the spot. read more

The worse ever. My Prescription was called into wrong store. Needed transferring to W. Berry. In a pandemic they told me I would have to travel the hour to that pharmacy. I told them how to correct the problem. They told me no. They told me To call my Dr. so, called my Dr. this is for seizure meds. Serious med. they told Dr. it was too soon to refill. It had just been filled. OMG!!! He tried making a new prescription for me. Nope. Controlled substance. Too soon. Argued with Dr. I drove the hour. Please do NOT ISE THESE IDIOTS. There is a protocol for this. One pharmacy is notified and "reshelves" med. they notify new pharmacy - usually within an hour it is safe to fill now. W. Berry too stupid to know protocol. This pharmacy really isn't safe to use. Too stupid. read more

We are so blessed to have the manager who runs this CVS. This gentleman is always so courteous and accommodating. He goes above and beyond to make sure that his customers feel very special when they go in. I'm not sure of his name but he's from England or Australia, there's a cool accent but not sure from where. NO! NO! NO! The Manager named Reggie or Kenny, I don't remember is downright toxic, abusive, unprofessional and erratic. Two nights ago, after a day of fighting a terrible cold and sinus infection, I broke down and drove to this store to get a decongestant. I realize they keep these behind the pharm counter and showed up at 11pm as they are open 'till midnight. Seeing the pharm counter gate closed and feeling quite miserable and desperately sickly, I gently and kindly asked the man at the front counter if he could assist me. IMMEDIATELY, he responded with a very loud shouting voice that he would not. I was stunned, but proceeded to ask why...He said they were closed. I honestly tried to communicate that I had realized but wanted to ask just in case. But with every attempt to communicate, he just kept shouting. I honestly was so stricken with fear and shock by his erratic behavior that I can't possibly remember all the words he shouted but he just kept on shouting at me. When I asked him what time they opened the next morning, he then shouted "IT DOESNT MATTER!". I then asked him who the manager was and he shouted "I AMMMM". At least he was listening to my questions but I was trembling....I was angry. But I kindly and calmly asked him who his manager was and he continued shouting "IT DOESNT MATTER". Realizing I was the only customer in the store...I had to walk to the back of the store, crouch down in one of the back isles and just started crying. I was afraid of this man and was sick and didn't even know if leaving and walking past him was safe. I hid for about 10 minutes, crouching low in the isle but managed to find a store brand Nyquill. Finally, I saw another female employee and tearfully approached her while she was stocking items if she would help ring me up. I thanked her several times and let her know I was scared of that man. I assumed she felt socially awkward by this because me asking prompted a little insincere spring in her step and she began to whistle. But I honestly felt bad for her because I think he made her nervous too. But she was kind and professional and I left the store as quick as I could. Still shaken, I went to the Walgreen's next door and asked them when their pharmacy opened and they kindly responded 9am. You better believe I told all the customers and employees there to stay away from that CVS. And I went to Walgreens the next morning, spoke to their pharmacist and was treated with respect by everyone at Walgreens. That CVS manager needs serious mental health attention and he certainly is not qualified to hold any sort of customer facing position. I will NEVER step into this CVS again. read more

Mainly just writing this to give anyone that is in a rush a fair warning... I've been to a lot of CVS stores and this is by far the slowest one. I've been 3-4 times and every time it's shockingly slow to wait for the pharmacy - one hour in the drive thru (no exaggeration). Why do I keep having my prescriptions called in here? Not too sure... I'll give myself a 1 star review as far as that goes. read more

Extremely poor customer service here. Had to wait for 8 minutes on hold to talk to someone in the pharmacy, they answer, ask me to hold, and proceed to place me on hold for another 4 minutes. I finally get someone on the phone (after being on hold for a total of 12 minutes), I explain that my doctor called in a prescription for me and I'd like to see if it will be ready before the store closes, so I don't waist my time driving up there if it won't be ready until the morning. Pharmacist asks me my DOB, so I proceed to answer, he interrupts me and asks me again, so I more curtly repeat my DOB for the 2nd time in a slightly irritated voice, and he hangs up on me. I call the pharmacy back for a 2nd time, and Pharmacist answers after only being on hold for a few minute this time - great! I'd like to check on a prescription, Pharmacist recognizes my voice and hangs up the phone. I call back for a 3rd time, I wait on hold for 6 minutes, and the same hang up once he recognizes my voice. I drive to the store, and arrive at 10:23 PM. I see 2 people working in the pharmacy area, and only 1 other customer in the store. Pharmacist is behind counter, and the cashier is helping another customer, so I wait for cashier to finish and then ask if she can check to see if my prescription is ready. She looks it up, and says it is ready, but Pharmacist needs to "check off" on it. She says it will be a 15 minute wait. I wait. While I am waiting, I can hear that the phone is ringing and no one is answering it even though there are 2 people working back in the pharmacy area, and there are 0 customers waiting to be helped at this point. In the 15 minutes I am waiting there, a customer pulls up to delivery window, Cashier helps Customer, and then proceeds to ask Customer if they are paying in cash, Customer response "yes". Cashier responds that they have already shut down their registers for the evening, and that Customer will need to come back tomorrow to pick up prescription - this was at 10:35 PM, almost a half an hour before the pharmacy was supposed to close, and an hour and a half before the store was supposed to close. Customer leaves. I'm still waiting for my prescription. At 10:40 PM, Cashier notices that my prescription was sitting at the counter in front of her for about 5 minutes at this point. She then asks me if I'm ready to check out, I have my credit card in my hand so she doesn't ask me if I'm paying in cash. Meanwhile, the Pharmacist didn't communicate to Cashier at all that my prescription was ready, and that she could go ahead and check me out, causing me to wait for even longer. I leave after waiting for almost 20 minutes in store. I mean, I completely get being busy so not being able to answer the phone right away, but they weren't busy. I was a little more annoyed on the phone when the Pharmacist asked for my DOB for the 2nd time, but I didn't raise my voice, curse at Pharmacist, or yell at any point in the phone conversation, I simply stated my DOB in a slow, clear, and distinct manner. The constant hang ups by Pharmacist, the closing of register 30 minutes before the Pharmacy closes, the not allowing customers to pay in cash, the straight up not answering the phone when it was ringing, and the additional unnecessary wait time when in the store were extremely inappropriate, unprofessional, and quite frankly, outrageous. I will never fill another prescription at CVS Store #7631, and will never shop at this location again due to Pharmacist Omoniyi B Bidi's extreme lack of professionalism. read more

I had my covid test done a few days back only to hear that it was canceled. To get to the bottom of this I decided to give cvs a call. Waited on hold for 34 mins and then when someone answered the phone they said yea we don't do that. Wasted a half hr to hear we don't do that. CVS berry needs to get it together read more

Long hold times every time I've phoned. When I finally reached the pharmacist, he was nice, but had a heavy accent which was difficult for me to understand. Drive-thru is also quite slow. Always seems understaffed. Staff turnover I've observed is high. read more

I would not get your prescriptions filled here. The staff deals with a variety of tcu students and others in the tcu area where they always seem overwhelmed, understaffed, and backed up. Every person has been nothing but kind to me which I appreciate, but the quality of service in terms of receiving my prescriptions correctly is not high. Multiple times I had to resubmit insurance, call my doctors, and discuss frequently changing prices (that should have been fixed with insurance). Save your time, choose another pharmacy. read more

I called to transfer a prescription with the intention of it only taking a few minutes as I had already spoken to the CVS I usually get my prescription from about transferring. When I called multiple times I was immediately put on hold following the automated response each time and no employee ever picked up. Even when I stayed on the phone for almost an hour before giving up. This place sucks. read more

If i could give this Pharmacy zero stars that would still be to many - my daughter has been trying to get a prescription filled with these clowns for over a week and three trips to get the medication and they have very excuse in the book. To give you the full story she had her prescription at the CVS in Studio City California. When she headed to school at TCU we had CVS Studio City back out of the prescription in their system so this pharmacy could issue it. CVS Studio City even called the pharmacy and told them they did this and to issue the medication urgently as she needed to get her refill urgently. My daughter gests text telling her the medication is ready to collect. After the third visit and 4th text message she goes back today to the store and is confronted with Atanga the Pharmacist on Duty who tells her he did not fill the medication because he can't get access to the perception and it's in California. He tells her he can't call the CVS in Studio City because none of their phones work. He tells her there is nothing he can do and sends her away for the fourth time in a week. She calls me in desperation. I call CVS Studio City and they tell me this is not the case but they will call Atanga and make sure the medication is ready immediately. In the meantime my daughter gets another text message telling her the medication is ready. Five minutes later I get a call from CVS Fort Worth and it's the manager (I thought the phones didn't work!) telling me she has issued the medication. Atanga was nowhere to be found and the manager had no idea there was an issue. The standard of service and professionalism in this store is so low that it astounds me the staff in the Pharmacy still work there. If Atanga serves you turn around and leave immediately or ask for someone else to assist and he has no idea what he is doing, he is rude incompetent and should not be allowed to work around drugs. The saving grace was I spoke to the store manager John who apologized for Atanga's behavior and agreed to compensate my daughter with a gift card. We will no longer use this pharmacy - I will have the medication filled in Studio City with professionals and then ship it to my daughter at school. read more

Had a very bad experience today one of the workers with braids, larger woman I smiled at her I do not feel well but I still went to the store and had to get a few items and I get all my prescriptions there she gave me a dirty look from PTSD I have worked very hard on counseling and numerous activities to be a positive person and not let hateful people get to me but this lady really got to me because I did nothing to her I simply smiled at her without customers she would not have a job I need customer service for 25 years no matter how bad you feel you always smile and make the customer feel welcome she did not and then when I left oh I was checking out she came and stood behind me like what I'm going to turn around and talk to her what is she looking up to me well I will be calling the manager in the morning she is acting rude before but this time I just didn't feel like putting up with it the pharmacy it's okay the pharmacist they all know me I have lots of prescriptions there I don't have to wait too long but The Upfront people they're just they don't are not organized at all the stores so unorganized you can't find anything it's not certain things that you would think would be other comparable things are not with items it's always just junkie there always like that stuff out in the aisles they don't have things put up correctly or even this is kind of like scattered everywhere so I give him a to just for the pharmacy staff because they're always nice to me the big girls she has an attitude problem and she needs to get over herself real quick read more

Terrible experience with this pharmacy multiple times. First I asked to get a prescription refilled and I went to pick it up and the gave me the wrong one which I didn't realize until I was back, and then they said they couldn't get the one I needed so I got it from another pharmacy. Then I called on Tuesday about transferring a prescription from home back to this CVS and they said itll be ready at 4. I come at 5 and they said they don't have it because I talked to the wrong person on the phone (which was the person when you call the pharmacy, so not sure how that's my fault at all). Then they said 3 days later that they got it, but it is an every day prescription so it was all messed up. Both times they blamed me for issues with their communication between employees.
