This has been my local CVS since I was a kid, they always work so hard in here, I just feel like the only downfall is the shelves can't stay stocked fast enough. Not sure if that's a corporate issue or not, glad the store stays busy now a days. read more

The pharmacy department here has always been the best. Living here for as long as I do and getting to see the same faces over the years is welcoming . Staff is always willing to go above and beyond to help you with any issues you would have either questions or getting a medication fulfilled. Hope they get recognized for the outstanding work. The girl at the register at 403 Atlantic Ave in Freeport NY was very rude. She had me spell my full name and asked me my date of birth 3 times. I was not at all pleased with this treatment. Her attitude was unpleasant. read more

This has been my local CVS for many years and Ive sadly have witnessed the decline. It used to be a wonderful store as far as it being brightly lit & fully stocked shelves now there are always empty shelves,very dark & even the refrigerators are always so empty. Its terrible!! The staff is always friendly and helpful & thats why I gave it two stars. This store has declined in a MAJOR way & a huge example of corporate FAILING to give this store the resources to succeed. I hope that one day this store can start improving and get back to how it used to be. read more

They have gift card scam going on. NEVER buy here!!! I purchased a home depot gift card that was tampered with and CVS doesn't want to be held accountable for. Reached out to BBB, Corporate but also want to warn everyone so you don't fall victim of these scam artist. I truly believe the supervisor is in on it. Just had the most trash experience ever. Went to CVS to get passport pictures taken. When I arrived there was a line of maybe 6 or 7 people because there was only 1 person at the counter... I found someone in the store and asked how can I get the pictures taken. They told me to wait by the register until someone from the back can come and help. So I wait patiently for about 10 mins. The assistantant manager Kassandra came out. It turned out the computer system for cvs was down and she was in the back on the phone trying to figure it out. I was standing right in front of the register and she totally disregarded me and said 'next on line'. I responded with excuse me, I need to get passport pictures taken. She said she would have to deal with the line before she could help me so I said ok, and stood to the side cause I understood that some of those people were waiting for awhile. She eventually took 3 customers and then the 4th lady she rung up ended up asking a million questions which took a good 5-10 minutes. Then because the system was down and people couldn't type in their number Kassandra suggested that she run to the car and get her phone so she could ring it up there. That took another 5-10 minutes which Kassandra ended up standing there waiting, then walked over to the self checkout to reboot the system while the line grew longer. The lady finally came back in the store just to walk away again for another 5-10 minutes and come back with 2 boxes of chocolate. (-___-... yes she went shopping while the line grew longer and longer) and Kassandra just stood there waiting. Now the line had about 10 new people on it but everyone that was on line when I arrived had already been rung up. The lady finally gets back and Kassandra rings her up and then calls the next customer so I finally step in and say, "ive been waiting for almost 30 minutes, can I get these pictures taken" and she responds with "I'm sorry but there's a line"... I say "I understand but I was here before all of these people who are on line now".... After she reluctantly says ok and gives me the most stink attitude. (Logically thinking... people are going to continue to walk in and get on line, so if I waited until the whole line was up I would have been standing there for another 30-45 minutes. She grabbed the camera and just walked away without saying anything, so it turned out I was suppose to follow her. -___- We took the pictures and then she just walks away again without saying anything. -___- Eventually she walks back to the register, and I meet her over there and she tells me the price. After I paid she gave me a half***ed "sorry for the wait". So yeah, this store manager 'Kassandra' in particular is trash. I've worked in retail before so I could care less about you being buddy-buddies with me, but at least treat people with some type of respect. I won't be shopping here anymore. Kassandra I really do hope you read this and respond to this so I can come in and speak to your manager about the full situation read more

Love this CVS and the Staff..have been coming here for over 20 years. However, I was there this week and counted 3 shoppers not wearing masks even though the store posted a sign requiring masks to be worn. No CVS Associates addressed this with the customers not wearing masks. I will NOT be returning to this store again. read more

This pharmacy is the worst! They should be closed permanently- or should be put under new management. I went in today to grab children's Tylenol with my daughter. My daughter had to use the restroom fast- so I quickly asked and ran. When we walked into the restroom, I can't begin to tell you the awful conditions it was in. It seemed like it hasn't been cleaned in years. There was poop all over the toilet seat, the light was dim, the sink was gross. We had no choice but to use the restroom. I don't understand how they could have this pharmacy in those conditions! Do not go here! read more

I shot here once a week for 20 years, the quality keeps getting worse. Currently its the worst place to shop at. 7pm on a Tuesday there is a line out the day to pay and the only cashier there was too busy to be a cashier, while the automatic self checkout is not working. One by one people on line just walked out of the store. I waited and paid and told the only cashier this was not her fault. This is the fault of the local manager and CEO. The CEO only looks for bigger and bigger but over looks the customer, the quality inside of the store.... Im now at the point of ordering on line from amazon and Walmart to avoid going into a CVS. CVS has gotten really bad and there is no manager there , and or untrained to offer a quality shopping experience for there customers read more

I was very sick and picking up medicine. I understood that we arrived early so we told the worker at the pharmacy that we will wait for it. We were told 10-15 minute wait. We waited double that with no one checking on us with updates. So essentially i am waiting in pain and in the dark as to the status. We had to ask to check multiple times and told to wait. When finally we had to know what the hold up was. Within that time, I can see they never started preparing the medicine I was waiting for and needed. So what the hell was I waiting for?! For workers start doing their job?? Then to be told to calm down and that the medicine was not in stock. If someone was keeping an eye out for customers, respectful, and even remotely human rather than robotic they would be better. They need better and more staff for sure! very disappointed... I'll be switching my pharmacy after that experience. read more

So it seems CVS is reducing staff behind the counter and are pushing customers to self-check out. While the CEO rakes in the dough and off loads the labor onto the customer, there does not seem to be a reason to go to CVS except to pick up a prescription. In the last month, I went to this store and the one on S. Long Beach Avenue and left empty handed because no help was available behind the counter. I did not want to wait for those at self-checkout who appear to be having difficulty and no staff were around to help. The customer may as well shop on Amazon and have their items delivered to their door. read more

I've used multiple cvs pharmacy's and this by far is the absolute worst. I've had issues with the same woman pharmacist on multiple occasions. She is rude and unprofessional. This last encounter she wanted me to give my infant son medicine with chunks of paper that fell in it from the cap because she was too lazy to refill it. Not only that, I've waited over 45 minutes online just to pick up medicine. They are so unorganized, they don't call you to let you know they didn't process medicine that was sent over. read more

I hate this CVS with a passion. Every time I called about my prescription status I got different answers from different people answering the phone. I am prescribed a controlled substance every 30 days and on the 30th day they claimed it was too early to fill it. I had to call my insurance company for assistance and after reaching out to CVS on my behalf the pharmacy said they filled it but "we're not obligated" to give it to me for 2 more days. So I can only get my daily medication 33 days after having previously filling it. I am without medication and infuriated because it's ridiculous and dangerous. No one behind that counter has any idea what they are doing. When I went to pick up the prescription finally there was a long line of irate customers that got turned away because all the computers went down. Screw this location and CVS in general. Duane Reade is so much better. read more

Cvs always has everything I need . This location is 24hrs which is perfect for me ! And they have great sales as well the staff was friendly & quick , I hate long lines but when the lines started to get a little long they quickly opened up another register to get customers in and out . read more

The way the manager Rob and his employees run this pharmacy is horrible. Avoid at all costs. I was not able to get my prescription refilled for medicine I need to function for every day life for FOUR DAYS because the medicine was "on back order" and not in the store. At no point during the multiple phone calls I made to the pharmacy did the employee check if another CVS store had the meds I needed. I called the pharmacy multiple times and was always answered by a rude employee who dismissed my questions of alternative meds or other CVS stores that might have my meds. I suffered from withdrawal symptoms and had to miss two days of work because I could not get my medicine. It took my doctor's office contacting a different CVS Pharmacy location for them to tell me that my medication was available at a store a town over THE ENTIRE TIME. I MISSED WORK AND HAD HEALTH COMPLICATIONS FOR FOUR DAYS BECAUSE THE EMPLOYEES WERE TOO LAZY TO CHECK THEIR DATABASES FOR SUPPLIES IN ANOTHER STORE. Absolutely disgusting. I am changing to a different location where employees can be bothered to put in the bare minimum effort for their job. read more
