The most accessible pharmacy to Cal State Fullerton has some drawbacks. It is not 24 hour, so don't come here past 10pm hoping to get late night snacks. Their pharmacy has even less available hours. I don't drive but their parking lot is decent, getting out of it and onto Chapman or State College can be difficult if there's a lot of traffic. The layout here can sometimes be confusing. I once spent quite awhile trying to locate the toilet paper, not expecting it to be closer to the alcohol and food side of the store. Speaking of alcohol, they have a large selection. I don't know if their prices are competitive with the nearby liquor store however. They also have a really large candy selection, which sadly I find myself always browsing. As for cosmetics and toiletry items, the prices are what you'd expect. Pretty much can always find a generic brand of everything. I can't speak for their actual pharmacy since I haven't had prescriptions filled there, but their regular staff have been polite at check out. The only problem is that they never seem to have enough people working. I've seen maybe 2 people at the checkout at most, and it doesn't take long for a line to start forming. It's not the best pharmacy I've ever been to, but for someone who doesn't drive this is about as good as it gets. I recommend that if you live on campus or close to campus you get their ExtraCare card, it's free and you accumulate rewards on it. read more

Absolute worst experience. Came here to grab a few quick things and was literally followed the entire time I was here. My sister in law and I felt extremely uncomfortable. Every corner we turned both female employees corned us and kept asking us if we needed anything... I understand being polite and asking if I need help looking for something but this was very extensive and repetitive. Clearly both employees need help differentiating between when some one is shop lifting and a regular customer. Awful employees. read more

Over the years all CVS locations and well before the COVID-19 outbreak have rocketed downwards when it comes to customer service. If you want great service with plenty of help then corporate businesses in most if not all cases is not for you. The private businesses mom and pop stores like the ones big corporations and trying to run out of business have by far want to treat employees and customers like family and not like a servant to make big CEOs the money. Corporations worry more about making money as mom and pop stores worry about human life. read more

Marry is by far was the rudest cashier I've ever met. I went in and returned a product today and she took it from and asked if I used it when she saw the box was opened. I said yes. She automatically told me that just so I know, she will take it this time out of curtesy but next time , just because I don't like something doesn't mean I can return it. Did she ask me why I returned it ? No. I replied to her that it wasn't about not liking it, I wish it work as it was advertised. This eye drop ( I tried it for the first time, most expensive and claimed to be affective) doesn't work at all. The product did say quality guaranteed, so what does that mean when it doesn't work ? After I replied she said : I'm just letting you know, just because you don't like it...." I said again, "I bought the thing thinking it would work, it's not that I don't like it. I'd like it if it work. " He response to me was: " I'm doing this out of curtesy for you , so don't even! If you don't like thing, you can't return it here." That was her exact word. With a big disappointment I said : I guess I could no longer buy thing in here" she answered "that's fine!" Now, I was a customer at CVS for as long as I can remember. Never go to any other competitor company for anything but CVS. My receipt showed I had an $80 purchased and that was the only thing I decided to return. Apparently she can careless about that's since she is paid by the hour. I'm not one to pick out a fight so I stopped talking and let her do her things. I wanted to ask anyone who ever return a product these questions: 1-If you buy something hoping that it would work and it doesn't, would you return it ? 2-How would a cashier expect you to return a product That's not opened or unused? Don't you buy things to use ? Or does she expect you to make the trip for fun , keep the product and return untouched? I walked in there thinking I could trade it for the other products that worked but after that, I walked out and droves to a different location since she was the only cashier and her word was she can careless if I buy things from there. For managements, please talk to her about customer service ! I don't expect loyalty treatments but her demeanor was very unpleasant! I live within walking distance and now it will be very awkward for me to even go there and give them any business since I was told by their worker that make sure you like everything you buy there ! read more

Jocelyn is the WORST employee ever. Encountered her on 3 separate transactions and each one was more awful than the last. She's rude, unprofessional, no manners, bad attitude, and how she's still employed continues to baffle me. I tried to return an item that I purchased from another CVS and she told me I had to return the item where I purchased it from. Absurd! Another horrible incident was when I was purchasing items that should qualify for a CVS promotion and the brand was also pictured. For some reason it wasn't going through the system she never offered to get manager to sort it out she just said its not part of the deal. When I did ask for the manager she said they're not here. She's is the reason I avoid this CVS store. Other than her, this is one of my go to CVS stores. They are organized and stocked. All the other employees are nice and professional. Sandra is the best. The first two times I attempted to develop photos here, there were already issues (weird cropping...pictures weren't ready at the designated pick up time). For some CRAZY reason, I thought my third attempt would be different. Ummm...no. I uploaded photos on a Monday for "same day pick up" and received a confirmation email and order number, which means my order was received and processed, supposedly ready for me to pick up THAT DAY. I was busy all week and finally got around to picking up my order on Friday (four days later). When I walked in, neither the cashier nor the manager were able to find them. I showed them my confirmation email, but nothing was found--there was no record of my order. So after waiting about 15 minutes for them to realize that my order (which I had proof I sent) was not developed, the manager dismissively said, "sorry....guess you've gotta order them again" and walked away. Yes, you are absolutely right: I will order my pictures again...SOMEWHERE ELSE. I will never go to this location again. I know I'm just a drop in the vast, corporate CVS ocean, but you're also a dime a dozen, and I don't need to waste my time, effort, or money on a place that does not value their customers or take responsibility for their mistakes. People of Fullerton: go to Walgreens; it's only down the street. They have much better customer service and will actually develop your photos. I just went and there were no problems. I like this CVS because it's close to my home and staff are usually very friendly. However recently I had a very poor experience with two of the pharmacists. Basically my advice is don't wait around to receive a consult about your prescription.. Talk to your doctor about risks and concerns or get yourself on good ol' WebMD. The pharmacists had no idea about the prescriptions they were giving me and both told me different things regarding side effects. In the end they basically just read the instructions on the box. Phoned in a refill over a week ago. The last time 3 days wasn't enough, so I gave them more time. Stopped in to pick it up and it wasn't ready. They said my doctor hadn't responded. Ok fine, but they haven't followed up since? They couldn't bother to notify me? I feel like I have to hold their hand through the process so that I can turn around and pay them. Seems like they are incredibly slow every time we try to pick anything up. They must be busy apologizing to other customers or scrambling to figure out why they don't have something ready. read more

These geniuses switched my birth control pill without even notifying me! I've been wondering why I have been feeling nauseous and fatigued, and wanted to eat or kill anything unfortunate enough to cross my path. When I called to ask them how long I've been on the new pill, they couldn't even give me a specific month. The guy who I spoke to just said, "Uh, since at least October." I can't believe I'm saying this about a CVS but they have incredible service. Their floor staff always greet me and their pharmacy staff have been so gracious helping me with my insurance issues. For Pharmacy. I came in for a consultation and the Dr (female short hair) was rude. While I was stating my questions and concerns she kept interrupting me before I finished. I wish she could've listened to what I had to say before because she got me and her confused. I also felt rushed when she was interrupting me when I was speaking. read more

Not a great pharmacy. If I phone there to refill a prescription, I will frequently be on hold for 8-10 minutes. One of the pharmacy techs there barely speaks or understand English. Their prices for RXs are much higher than other local pharmacies. Go elsewhere if you can. read more
