Nice clean Stater Brothers in Fullerton. I have been here a couple times now, and have no complaints. If you come at the right time during a sale, the meat prices are really good in comparison to the competitors; not to mention, they have some of the best quality selections too. Favorite place to shop. I've been here over a dozen times! I'm a fan of this grocery store. They have a good variety of everything. The store is clean and very organized- it is easy to find the things you are looking for. Produce is fresh! I've never seen anything rotting in the produce section, or even on its last life lol Safe place for produce and milk products. This Stater brother market is one of the nicest I've been too. The parking lot does get busy at times. They do have a Bakery and a butcher too. With fresh meats and cakes and breads. I've found the deli meats to be fresh. The market is clean and bright with clean bathrooms. read more

Visited this location even though it's farther from me than my go-to stater bros, no regrets. I found every grocery item I was looking for. The best part of my visit was the great encounter I had with the manager on shift tonight, (I think he was a manager). The receipt says his name is Ron. He was very helpful and knowledgeable of the items I had questions on. Super friendly and helped check out my cart. Stores like any other, it's always about the customer service that makes the store stand out. Unfortunately the gentleman that was working the hot foods at 7pm on Thursday May 21st 2026 was one of the most unprofessional and rudest person I've dealt with at a stater bros. I was trying to order mac and cheese and chicken. I've gone to various staters bros and have asked for two chicken breasts and they've always given them to me but the guy working this night outright refused to give it to me. Each time he asked me I would tell him "let me get two chicken breasts" and he would ignore me and just say "chicken breast and what else." In a really snarky tone. After he decided to just give me the smallest piece possible he saw. I wasn't going to argue I took my food and went. Not sure why I never wrote a review for the Stater Brothers I go to all the time lol. But you know your local store you go in and somehow you run into your wonderful neighbors or people you know this is that store for me. I love this store, always find what I need! I really like the people that work there and in fact went to a Christmas party last Xmas and ran into one of the workers that work there. She is so sweet and since then I have loved coming here even more. The prices are good, they have really good produce and the people working there are so sweet. I come here often I always find what I need snacks for babygirl dinner items, BBQ stuff for pool days and our pool parties. Lol thank you for having sweet workers here, I really enjoy coming to this store. Always get greeted with smiles and when we check out too! I'm writing another review because again another poor experience at the store! Unfriendly cashier and baggers and not to mention the bagger does not know how to bag the groceries, I would have had to be a a bodybuilder to be able to carry my bags. I had to repack! Since when do you put every single heavy item in one or two bags? I'm getting to the point that I don't want to shop at this store anymore and there's many grocery stores where I can spend my money and I'm just thinking it's not worth it. I'm a regular at this store. Always get great service, but today (March 19) the cashier Theo was very rude. Didn't greet me at all. When he handed the receipt to me, he dropped it on the counter just as I was reaching for it and turned away leaving me to pick it up. Seemed deliberate. The lady bagging my groceries was nice. Held off on a five star rating because we spend entirely too much money at this establishment. Also had one awkward experience with the store manager over a $20 return. Mind you, our family visits this location at least once a week. So we know where everything is and the staff is (for the most part) amazing. Deli has improved and that Cleo and Leo fried chicken is fire. We also grab a rotisserie chicken every now and again which is nice when you don't want to cook for everyone. Produce section recently got a makeover and I'm not super impressed. Seems like the produce workers have to constantly be stocking shelves because they are so small. The displays look nice but it's pretty jarring to navigate that section when it's busy. Also sometimes feels like it's hard to find plastic bags to store the produce. I guess that's one way to start using reusable produce bags. (Side note on the reusable bags; if an item is priced by weight the customer will end up spending a bit more because of the weight of the bag itself. Scales on registers are calibrated to subtract the weight of their plastic bags, not reusable bags). Meat section is my favorite, the employees are always quick to respond, and always help pick the best cuts. They also offer a large selection of premium meats. All of which are displayed beautifully. I don't know what it is but I love walking the display to see the tomahawk steaks. Lastly, once you have to pay for everything it's nice to be greeted with some kindness and personal courtesy. Sue is by far, the coolest, nicest, funniest, fastest checker out there. Even though I'm paying hundreds of dollars she seems to help me cope. Props to Sue, my whole family loves her. Also want to mention Audrey, Michelle, Rachel, Jeremy, and Moon as some of our other favorites. There are more that deserve recognition but I'm blanking on their names at the moment. This is not the first time i've had a bad experience with him. His attitude is extremely unapproachable and he has very poor customer service. He made us feel like a burden. I have been coming to this stater brothers for over 10 years now, this morning i was amazed how rude my cashier was, never saw her before. Her name is Alyssa, she was wearing a mask and just mumbled at me, never understood a word, and when i asked her to repeat what she said she just ignored me. The regular cashiers and deli people are the only employees that understand customer service. If the rude ones hate their job so much I suggest they find a new one. I was charged for 2 cilantro bunches (I only have one) and charged for an Italian squash when its a Mexico squash (I think the prices is different from the Italian one.) like I said its over cents but now a days that adds up when now two bags for things is over $40 now. read more

It sickens me to have to write something like this about one of my favorite grocery stores. I even briefly worked for the "Stater Bros Family". I witnessed cashier Derrick openly mocking a customer with special needs, making weird faces, shaking his head and rolling his eyes. He was doing it for the amusement of his little friend who was bagging. The poor customer had no idea and was very polite. Circumstances did not permit me to make a complaint in person or I surely would have. Do not buy your meat from this store! I bought 11.8 pounds of packaged Tri-tip. When I got home I trimmed off 2.65 pounds of hard fat that will not render. It was on the bottom of the package, So i could not see it when choosing which roasts to buy. Seems a bit deceptive. That's 22% of unusable fat. Buying meat from Stater Brothers is no deal. Pay more at Ralph's or Sprouts......it's actually cheaper and based on this ....... It's probably better quality. I feel like I got taken. read more

My grandmother sent my uncle to the store to get chicken at the deli. The lady working the counter was super rude. The pieces of chicken left did not look fresh and looked like it was sitting for sometime. My uncle asked for fresh pieces and her reply was "what do you want me to do, fry more?" He said yes. She told him it would take 15 minutes and my uncle was okay with that. Well, she ended up boxing up old chicken for my uncle anyways and tried to charge him extra for sides when they came with the meal. Jeremy at checkout at rocks! The other gent Richie who used to work here was kickass, too. Remember that the last person we experience when shopping is the person ringing up the goods. And these two always make my day awesome. They don't rush me and always ask me if I found all the goodies I needed. And a huuuge kudos to Raquel at the deli. What a lovely lady. The deli can be busy and Raquel always services with a whimsical smile. Just like Jeremy and Richie. She's so sweet and slices my meats beautifully. And Chuy in the meat department is excellent. I can't always get to the Asian market for my seafood and the fish filets here that Chuy selects for me are super plump and tasty. They don't stank either. And I always buy chicken wing flaps. Flaps only. It's my thing. And Chuy is cool. Thank you for having such a huge selection of yummies. I do notice that a majority of customers buy alcohol as many bottles or cases are often present in the cart or at checkout. I'm guessing the deals here are super good for getting drunk. I've been shopping here for years and appreciate the service. I can see that it's not always easy to dealing with people and bullshit but this grocery store does a good job of maintaining short lines, easy checkout, excellent deals, and consistently wonderful service. read more

I have not ever thought in my years of yelping would I ever review a supermarket. This is the friendliest supermarket I have ever been to! The Parking lot is attended to with great detail. Upon pulling up, I already see a young man collecting carts in the parking lot as well as an older staff member helping a woman load up her groceries into her car, wow! While shopping I had been asked twice if I needed anything and received a friendly good morning. Upon my check out, the cashier was so sweet and friendly and had the most beautiful mascara on, and she showed me where I could get a good deal on it as well! Such a sweet store filled with happy people, even having been asked if I need help out to my car with my groceries, but I politely declined.
