My most beloved better buzz that immediately became my post workout weekend treat (and a girl do deserve a treat) as soon as they opened. I like this location better than the one closer to my house because the staff here is just top notch. They always get it right. No shade but the imperial location has twice used all my rewards points and then been like "whoops I can't undo it" and its not like im going to call corporate and complain about losing my rewards but what the heck!! I also really like the outdoor seating here, the mobile pick up counter is super convenient, and the hot food and pastries have been delicious every time. And boy am I a sucker for cold foam :9 :9 :9 Also my favorite thing is to get a best drink ever. The sticker code for it is BDE. I like to peel the sticker off my drink and put it on my dog and call her the Best Dog Ever. And their pup cups come with little milk bones! read more

This is, without a doubt, the worst Better Buzz location I've been to. Ironically, my very first visit--right after they opened--was fantastic. I had one of the best Best Drink Evers I've ever had. Unfortunately, every visit since has been inconsistent and disappointing. The customer service is way below standards and borders being rude. Even the food I've had delivered from this location has been underwhelming. The drinks are all over the place. Sometimes they're overwhelmingly sweet, other times they seem to have no flavor at all. The drive-thru is just as inconsistent. There have been multiple occasions where I ordered only two drinks and was asked to pull into a parking spot to wait for my order, which defeats the purpose of using the drive-thru. My last visit sealed the deal. The car ahead of me appeared to have placed a massive order. Instead of taking my order while they finished that one, the employee left me sitting at the speaker for over five minutes while I watched him collect payment, hand out the entire order, and send that car on its way before even acknowledging me. That's not how an efficient drive-thru should operate. Then came the pastry ordeal. The menu simply listed "French Pastries," so I asked what they had. The employee responded that they were "fully stocked." I asked again what pastries they actually had, and he replied, "All the croissants and bagels." I then asked what bagel flavors were available, and he listed Nutella, Everything, Butter, and Pistachio. I asked if they had an almond croissant, and he said yes. I ordered the Almond and an "Everything Croissant." I specifically asked--multiple times--if it was a croissant and not a bagel because I'd never heard of an Everything Croissant before. I was stoked. Each time, he assured me it was a croissant. We were in a rush, finally got our order after the long wait, and drove off. As I looked in the bag, I discovered my elusive "Everything Croissant" was... a bagel. Not a croissant, a freakening Everything Bagel. Are you effing kidding me? (RAGE BAIT UPDATE: I just looked at their app and they actually do have an Everything Croissant which makes me even more mad. If I could give zero stars, I would.) After all of those questions and confirmations, I still received the wrong item. I didn't have time to turn around and exchange it, but I was incredibly frustrated at this chronic case of the Gen Z's. The good news is that I don't think this reflects Better Buzz as a whole. I've been to the Anaheim location several times, and the experience has been completely different. Even though it's farther out of my way, the service is friendly, quick, the drinks are consistent, and the food is much better. From now on, I'll gladly make the extra drive. read more

Looks like a fairly new location. Free standing building with plenty of seating. I was welcomed by multiple workers as I entered. Friendly. The time from order to receiving my drink was quick, almost too quick for a latte. =) The drink (plain hot latte made with whole milk) itself is solid...tasted a little watery tho. Didn't taste any mint at all, just a super iced out milky latte. Service: 3/10 Money grabby af. The cashier (older dude so I think might be the owner), was nonchalant asf and gave me this weird look when I didn't order a large. He basically shooed me off after telling him my order. Stumbled upon Better Buzz on the way home and decided to stop in for an afternoon pick-me-up -- so glad I did! I'd heard the banana coffee was a must-try and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Sweet but not overdone, a natural hint of banana without any artificial taste, and the cold foam on top was fluffy and heavenly. We also tried the Cinnamon Pistachio from their new seasonal menu and that was another hit -- a perfect blend of flavors that somehow avoids that fake sweetener taste you find elsewhere. What really made the visit was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and happy to share their personal favorites to help us narrow things down. That kind of enthusiasm goes a long way. This is a month old review. We want it to try this place as we pass by it many time and now they have banana flavor. We ordered drive thru so I didn't get to experience the food inside. We order the banana matcha flavor and coconut flavor latte. The drink was alright, the matcha is light in color which usually indicates lower grade matcha and the banana is lacking flavor. The coconut taste more like a vanilla latte than coconut. Drink deserve 3 stars, but we would come back to check out the food next time. read more

First time coming in, was excited to try their drinks. Ended up trying a smoothie, Pink Dragon with pitaya, strawberries, banana, apple juice, bee pollen. I waited 15min for my drink... had to ask someone to check on the order for me as that seemed like too long of a time. Looked like they had forgotten about it. I then watched the gentleman who was handling the food orders slowly walk over to obtain ice, no sense of urgency for an order that was now overdue. At this point, I wanted my money back, but I waited, received my order 5min later and said nothing. I've been wanting to try Better Buzz for a while and was eating near by so stopped by for a coffee for the drive home. This location is amazing, near the 91 freeway entrance and large, clean and very cozy to enjoy your drink alone or with friends. The menu is expansive. There is something for everyone here. I decided to start at the top with the Best Drink Ever. An Americano with their signature creamy vanilla added. Shuttle, not too sweet and coffee forward... which is always my preference. I'm here for the beans not the diabetes. The list is large of specialty drinks, so many directions you can go. Also a nice selection of teas, smoothie and even açaí bowls. So I will be back to try more. They also had some food options that looked good and a great assortment of pastries. Unfortunately I just had a large dinner so I will have to be hungry next time I drive through. The staff was well versed in the menu and provided some recommendations. They were very busy and the lobby was packed. But the staff remained chipper. Went through the drive-thru on a busy day and decided to stick it out since the line was packed and expectations were high. Service moved pretty fast overall, and the staff outside were helpful, they even recommended adding cinnamon foam, which I appreciated. I ordered a Horchata Iced Latte and a Vanilla Bean Latte. The horchata was good, though nothing too crazy. The cinnamon foam definitely helped elevate it. The vanilla bean latte, on the other hand, tasted pretty bitter and just okay in my opinion. It felt like they might've been rushing due to how busy it was. That said, they do have a huge variety of drinks, so I'm open to giving it another try down the road. Overall, slightly disappointed on the first visit, but willing to come back and try something else. read more

Better Buzz is one of my favorite coffee spots when I'm in the San Diego area, and I'm glad they opened a new one up in Anaheim! This place took over the old KFC building, but you would never know it. It's surrounded by a large (though busy) parking lot, so I had no trouble finding a nearby spot to park and walk in. The whole place has been renovated and remodeled and it looks great. They had a drive thru, but I walked in to take a look around. It's bright and airy despite the industrial look, and the staff is cheery and attentive. My food and drinks were ready before I even finished paying! My +1 and I both got the cinnamon cold brew coffee. It was strong and delicious. We also got an avocado toast and ham and cheese croissant (with egg added) and were satisfied. Everything tasted fresh, and though it wasn't cheap, it was a nice treat. This place is a guilty pleasure we'll probably end up enjoying more often than we should. read more

I usually head over to Philz in Fullerton, but I decided to try this place out since it's right by my home. The second I ordered my drink and tasted it, I knew i had just wasted $7 on a drink I can't even drink because they added about an inch of cinnamon, nutmeg, etc "spices". So I just got up to pay $7 for a drink I cannot swallow without feeling all these grainy bits of seasoning. If you want gritty bitter coffee order the Moroccan spice iced coffee! Just because it has "seasoning" in it, you don't dump a tablespoon of each spice into a regular drink. read more

I got a large size with 1/2 caffeine and 3/4 sweet, light ice and added cinnamon cold cream. The Snickerdoodle Latte was way too strong for me to even drink. I gave it to my husband though- so it didn't go to waste. The avocado toast was lacking. I was disappointed in this overall. The bread was soggy. The avocado tasted like it was the little containers of premade avocado spread that they sell at the grocery store. Not real avocado, just the weirs tasting spread. That killed it for me. How are you going to sell avocado toast and not have really avocado??? Come on now. I ordered the Feta Avocado Deluxe Toast with extra Grape Tomato, extra Feta Cheese, added Salt & Pepper, and added balsamic dressing. I wouldn't order that again. My husband got a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich and loved it. He enjoyed his coffee too. He got a hot coffee, black. He enjoyed the roast. Better Buzz was a win for my husband. My friend got a text that today is banana day that and they were giving away a free banana cold foam drink if you were a banana gear on banana today. I have a banana bread business myself, so I am all about bananas, yellow, and banana gear. So, naturally, we took a little drive from Redondo to Fullerton. Better Buzz Coffee quickly became my new favorite. You can't go wrong with almost any coffee item on the menu. They all taste delicious - never too sweet or too bitter. Not gonna lie, their coffees *are* a little pricey. Unlike Starbucks, they do charge for other milk alternatives. We always spend at least $16 for 2 specialty lattes, which feels like a lot for coffee. This is why I give 4 stars. I might change it to 5 if they stop charging extra for oat milk. I am excited, though, for the new location in Anaheim to open soon. Much closer to me than Fullerton! read more

Staff were pretty quick in getting out our drinks despiste the rush, but we did wait a bit for the Açaí Bowl. The staff here are attentive and do try their best to expedite the orders as quick as they can, so give them grace. Their menu offers handcrafted coffee, cold brew, teas, espressos, smoothies, and food (bowls, sandwiches, pastries, wraps, and toasts). With just trying their signature "Best Drink Ever" (Americano with their house creamy vanilla - $5.79), I already became a fan. They make my top 3 fave coffee spots for me. Was here during lunch time 1 pm. We we headed to Lotteria (Korean burger joint) originally, in same plaza and saw a line so decided not to go. That's how we found Better Buzz Coffee. What we ordered ~ Deluxe OG Acai bowl was good. I noticed it looks like they don't make the actual acai part of the bowl fresh meaning right than. It was a bit frozen but they add the toppings on fresh. The acai part was good along with the bowl itself. ~ Feta avocado Toast was yummy. Wished it came with an egg but it was still good and yummy. ~ Hazelnut Divinity w oat milk topped Vanilla cold foam is a great drink. Really creamy. Got it 50% sweetness. The drink per associate is pretty sweet. So i Adjusted the sweetness. My 1st time having their drink n it's legit good. Associate was nice & got our items in a timely manner. They said they've been open since December of 2024. Still shock i was never aware as i request Fullerton to visit my in laws occasionally and I'm always on Harbor Blvd. Lots of parking in the plaza.
