This CVS is open late at night and they are usually stocked of their items. This CVS is a 24/7 store. While I was there last night for ice cream they had a limited amount of flavors. The lady at the cash register wasn't as friendly as the people were last week I was there. If you're in need of things, especially last minute things when it is late at night I suggest you check this place out. She told us 'next time there is the scanner, you can check it yourself' I have to personally took her to point out where is the item located Nd there is no bar code to scan on the nail polish . Came to this store and left and came back and they payed a printed out piece of paper saying closed but the drive thru pharmacy is open. They even had a delivery truck knocking on the door and we can clearly see employees inside. Drove to the pharmacy window and pharmacist said they are closed due to the registers being shut down followed by the pharmacy drive through is still open. He lied straight to my face. I said well if the pharmacy registers are still open can't we pay at the pharmacy and he said no you can't pay for regular items at the pharmacy. First time I went in the older lady followed me to the back of the store even after I asked where the feminine products were. Then she kept her eyes on me straight the register. It is almost impossible to get these people to answer the phone. Yesterday I waited 40 minutes on hold and I hung up. Today, 23 minutes and counting. I will eventually hang up. I am trying to call and ask them to correct their mistake. They are charging me full price instead of my co pay. I don't know what happened here but this location used to be excellent. CVS allowed my dad to get mugged in front of their store. He got mugged at knifepoint for a $1.10. Luckily he didn't have his phone or wallet on him since he was just picking up his meds. I'm livid. He parked right in front of the place, Lights were on, doors were closed. They tried to tell my dad that there was "an outage" to justify their doors being closed. I actually like this CVS location. Its just you only have a few good people working here. I usually like the white woman with blonde hair and glasses who has the best customer service experience. But i dont think she work here anymore, Because i have not been to this location in over a 2 years since Covid. I walked in the store a few days ago and i see these new young college looking employees working here. They dont smile and shouldnt even be working here. This pharmacy is the slowest service ever. Why does it take so long to fill a prescription that's supposedly ready. Never have this problem at Walgreens. Please make separate lines for people with questions and be quick to move ppl with questions to the proper line. Filling a prescription should take no longer than 5 minutes. Telling my dr to switch prescription fills to Walgreens. Done. And I'm still waiting in line at CVS. Boo! Not the first time but def the last now. read more

Pharmacy staff here is rude and lazy. I transferred to this cvs from another cvs location since it was closer to home figured it would be more convenient. I use good rx for a prescription that my insurance doesn't cover which lowers the cost of it since I pay out of pocket and they refused to use it. I even offered to contact the previous cvs pharmacy I would go to in Irvine (the staff there offers to look for the lowest prices and use their own discounts for meds) I work in the medical field and I know all about insurances so I'm familiar with the process. Being lazy and not wanting to enter the information in the computer is another thing. Why work at a pharmacy if you don't want to properly do your job? Waste of time. Transferred my medications to another pharmacy and took my business elsewhere. read more

This is a review for the pharmacy. Usually I do not leave a comment but I felt that Ruce deserves one. I have a fear of needles and he made my experience much less scary. Not very many people can calm me down and talk me through it. He also made sure to distract me while giving me the shot. Well, after a couple years I came back because I needed some q tips. Big mistake. It's gone even more down hill. First: PLEASE GET A SECURITY GUARD. I don't like being accosted and I really don't like my child being accosted but what really bothered me was seeing all the elderly & feeble getting berated at the door by a psycho while just trying to get their prescriptions. Furthermore, inside the store there was only 1 employee (not including the pharmacy). Well, my child had to use the restroom, but the employee would not open the restroom door because she was the only one and there was a very long line. I understand her dilemma. The pharmacy people would not help and said wait for the lady at the register. Ok fine, got in line and waited...and waited... and waited some more... the line was so long and so slow that people were just getting pissed and leaving their stuff and walking out. No common sense at all... if there is a problem customer, please put them on hold, get all the other people in the line processed, then back to the problem and deal with it. I can honestly say my mom is a drugstore junkie. She loves browsing the aisles of drugstores for cosmetics and other knick knacks. After already spending an hour plus at the CVS near my home, she noticed this one after our lunch in little Saigon and wanted to go to this one as well. As soon as I pulled in I said to her that it wasn't gonna be as 'nice' as the one in Irvine, but of course, it wasn't a problem for her. So off we went into this one which is located in the same plaza as Saigon City market. So yes, this one isn't as new as the ones in Irvine obviously, but somehow, mom still managed to find a bunch of stuff to buy, bless her heart. I think I might as well bring her to the other CVSs around the area too just to satiate her need for drugstore browsing before she has to go home again. read more

I can see why they only have 2 stars. One of the slowest pharmacies I have been to. There was no one in line and my prescription only needed to be rebilled. My old pharmacy always did this in less than 2 minutes. If it wasn't for moving I would have never left that location. I've been fighting off being sick lately thus all the check ins at local drug stores. Anyway, I figured I'd stop off at this location to pick up some throat lozenges and some eye drops. I just bought some at another CVS location a few miles away and was surprised to see a difference in prices for the exact same items. It wasn't just a few pennies, it was $.34 for one item and $.50 for another. I know that this location was just moved to a new building however I would expect the same prices throughout their entire chain. I also don't expect to wait at the register for someone to ring up the transaction for almost three minutes. My complaint about the CVS on Brookhurst and Chapman is that they're on it when it means texting me and trying to refill our scripts (even ones we don't want) but when you go pick it up it's a different story. The pick up window outside is supposed to be for drop off and pick up, not for taking the prescription there and sitting at the window in your car waiting for it to be filled for 20 to 30 minutes. Twice in one week I've had someone sitting at the window for over 20 minutes waiting for theirs to be filled. I went inside and told the pharmacy people about it twice now and it's done no good so far. The sign outside actually says DO NOT WAIT AT WINDOW if you drop off a script. The pharmacy people need to tell people to pull away from the window while waiting. When you're sick it's not fun to be behind these cars. read more

I went to get my flu shot here on a Sunday afternoon. The person (AH) REUSED & HAND SANITIZED HER GLOVES for three other people before administering the vaccine for me. I was so shocked. I am not sure what method this is, but I did not feel safe. Who knows how long she has been wearing those gloves for. If CVS has enough gloves to be selling it at their store, I am sure employees should be using them especially when giving flu shots! There is 2 doctors works at pharmacy and they act they are super busy and make you wait for 30 min to just come and say hi and after that another 45 min to make couple pills ready when they are ready in the box already, the owner of the cvs suppose to know whats going on here, either fire them or watch them and hire more people read more
