ZERO STARS. Awful, complete and total NIGHTMARE! 1. Every time I went to pick up my prescription, there was a huge line, and there is NEVER enough staff to actually handle the number of customers. The staff that IS there seems completely un-rushed and un-bothered by the fact that people are standing in line for 30+ minutes. It's like they are all purposely moving extra slow. The drive-thru ALWAYS seems to take priority for some reason, so even if I've been waiting forever, if a car drives up, they'll go to the car first. 2. One time I went at midnight to try to avoid a line. I was happy to see that there was no one there. Literally AS I WALKED UP, the lady behind the counter put up a sign saying "Back in 15 minutes." No joke, she didn't put it up UNTIL SHE SAW ME. I was the ONLY person, so would it have killed her to help me out before taking the break? I left and returned about 20 minutes later - the sign was STILL UP (even though the 15 minutes had passed). I saw one employee counting/scanning prescriptions and not acknowledging me at all. I waited 10 more minutes (30 minutes total - TWICE as long as the sign said) and then I walked up to the window and said (politely) "Ma'am, it's been half an hour already..." She literally ignored me and said nothing. Didn't even turn around. 5 more minutes and another employee finally sauntered in at the speed of snail. 3. You get different answers and different "rules" depending on which pharmacist/employee you speak to. I have Medi-Cal, but the prescription I was picking up was from a NON-Medi-Cal doctor. I was paying for this doctor totally out of pocket. I was told the medication she prescribed is not covered by Medi-Cal. I explained my doctor isn't a Medi-Cal doctor and I don't want to use my Medi-Cal insurance to pay for the prescription - I'll just pay the $10 cash. The first two months they seemed to understand this and everything was fine. I paid cash and got my medication. Then the third month or so, they told me I am not ALLOWED to pay cash, I MUST use Medi-Cal, but since Medi-Cal doesn't cover this medication, there is nothing I can do. They literally told me this. I can't use my insurance because they don't cover it, butI'm also not allowed to pay cash. The pharmacist who told me this was rude and gave no other options. I called back the next day and talked to someone else, and THAT PERSON put it through for me and I paid cash and picked it up! WTF!!! Then month 4 same story about me not being able to use insurance OR pay cash - "Sorry, you just can't pick it up." I finally switched to Costco and they had ZERO issues with me paying cash despite being a Medi-Cal patient. After switching my prescription to Costco, I called and made a complaint to Walgreens. The lady was very nice and said sympathized - said she had no idea what was going on and why they would tell me what they did, despite me having picked it up multiple times before. She said someone would call me back. They never did. There's so many pharmacies - trust me, go ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Rude, slow, long lines, confusing nonsensical rules that only get followed by certain employees. Total headache. (Plus this location always has very un-savory looking characters hanging around in the front.) read more

This is a ZERO star review. As a member of Yelp, I try to be very objective about the places that I go so that it helps others make informed decisions on where to eat or get various forms of help. I am proud to be an Elite member. However in this instance, I am a very upset father. I have two daughters that have Nephrotic Syndrome, a kidney disease. One has already had a transplant and the other is on dialysis awaiting her transplant. For my daughter who has had her transplant she is on certain medications that require a very strict schedule and cannot be missed. Now my daughter does have a tendency to order her refills late, but on this case that was not the issue. So I called in the refill and it was to be ready at 3:15PM. So I call at 5 to make sure it is ready and it says it will be ready at 4 PM which told me they did not it in stock because for some reason they don't stock enough of this medication. So, I am waiting on hold for an hour. Not 5 minutes or 10 minutes, an hour. 1 person in front of me for an hour, ummm no. That is what you call laziness and not wanting to pick up the phone. They had two people working along with the pharmacist. And not one of you can answer the phone. GARBAGE So I hang up and call the store manager. Not there but shift lead answers and says she will transfer me to the pharmacy losing the direct line. What happens, no one answers. So I call back again and I tell her I will wait while she gets them on the phone. Finally the pharmacist answers and says they don't have the full amount but can fill a partial. That is fine, but answer the freaking phone. You are not that busy, it is just laziness on the part of your employees. It is pitiful for someone to have to go through that. It is very unprofessional and a very bad look. It is not the first time I had to wait on hold but it was never that long by a lot. Get your act together and make sure your employees act accordingly. If i can give a Zero stars to this Walgreens I would. It's awful customer service awful management because even if you complain they don't do anything. Not sure why they're working there it looks like they're not getting paid because the lack of work is unbelievable. You call to get updates or refill and they put you on hold for hours and when they do answer they give you attitude and don't put in the refill through. We have to drive from far every time because apparently its the only pharmacy that has our meds. I am so exhausted every month dealing with this staff. Rude, rude rude if i didn't needed the medication i would NEVER stopped at this stores. If you can avoid this pharmacy please do or get ready for an exhausting time. read more

Walgreens more like Ballgreens. This place is so bad I'd rather find my prescriptions in the dumpster out back. I'm pretty sure I could've grown my own herbs and made my own medication by the time they finished filling my prescription. Probably could've also written my own book on medication. I've been here for 5 days and still haven't seen my medication. I'm running low on rations and only have 2 waters and a 24hr energy left in the fridge. Worst pharmacy ever. So slow. 4 people people standing around not even acknowledge Im here. As if the computer is more important. Pharmacist Ryan Nguyen looks very uncaring pretending to be busy. And won't give the code to the restroom. Marcos (short old Mexican) today claiming to be the manager doesn't know how to do his job, refuses to ask anyone else even though someone standing right next to him, tells me this transaction is over several times... I tell him he doesn't have to be a jerk about it, he finally tells the girl standing next to him what is going on, I tell the girls in line, everyone is like wow what a jerk ...Ends up insulting me about im a low life for shopping there and walking over there , then the lady next to him answers they have to swipe the card, I'm like that's all I needed to know and asked several times if he's sure..this jerk shouldn't be doing ANY kind of customer service at al!!! Literally the worst pharmacy technicians here. I Would seriously not recommend going here. They always find a way to mess something up, and you'll end up having to call your doctor to talk to them about it because any sort of grievance you have, they will hang up on you mid sentence. It actually got so bad that I had called corporate multiple times and made complaints about the man who ran the pharmacy. Horrible human being. I've been going to this Walgreens since I was little (now im in my late 20's) and stopped because I've since moved and now I get my medication at Riteaid. This Walgreens Pharmacy is absolutely amazing! My luggage got stolen at the LAX airport with all my Medication inside... they were able to get my Meds filled which I critically needed my other option would have been the hospital. Sophie tirelessly worked with my insurance company and got this accomplished for me. I am totally impressed with their Customer Service efforts to assist me! This pharmacy is the slowest and most unresponsive. They forgot about me while I was in the store for over an hour, during normal business hours, not even late night. Almost 1 out of 4 times, they don't have the medicine in stock and they take over 8 hours update you so your doctor is no longer in the office. This is a close and convenient location and I switched pharmacies anyways last month. read more

Well the walgreens management needs to staff their stores correctly so that people in desperate need of medication can get them in a timely fashion. We had spent a long day in ER, system said they didn't get the prescription so went to the pharmacy. It's the only 24 hr walgreens - line was long and in person wait 2 hours. Lots of frustrated people and too much for the staff who was also overwhelmed and defensive. Try to STAFF correctly and provide people with a better experience. If I could give zero stars I would have. We to urgent care and they sent over my prescriptions electronically at 8:30 pm. I waited almost an hour to make sure when I showed up, they would be done. I go and had to wait 40 minutes in line to be told they don't have my prescriptions and my Dr never sent them over. While "two tone" (vaper emo chic) messes with the computer I call my medical group, on speaker and the operator looks me up and says when and how they were sent over. Two tone then very casually walks around and comes back rudely and says well I cant find them. I hold back my disgust and ask her where the electronic prescriptions are sent and printed out. She takes her time and pulls some sheets off the printer, like a book thick, and says "oh they just sent them over, just now", which is totally bs. Then proceeds to say we are going to need some time to fill them since they just now came over. I look at two tone and says we both know that's a lie and please fill them asap. One hour later I'm still waiting and ask some Asian girl, who has nothing but a smirk on her face, the status of my prescriptions and she says, "they're not done and we are working on it." Then stands there smirking at me, I reply "I know you don't care so my bad for asking!" I didn't get my prescriptions until 2 hours later. So I spent 3 hours waiting for one prescription. This place is a joke and I will NEVER return here again. CVS is normally my pharmacy however, they were closed by the time I was at urgent care. I will never complain about having to wait 15 minutes again at CVS. I will wait next time to get it from CVS the next day. Walgreens sucks! read more

Pharmacy open 24 hours. Review done for Tuesday, February 20 to Wednesday February 21, 2024 (midnight, in between both days). I called the pharmacy to make sure they were open, the pharmacist picked up, a very polite young lady. I went to pick up my meds, there was one lady pharmacist alone (same as on the phone), she was very polite and explained the medication patiently. Being so late I did not expect the great treatment I received. I will change my prescription here. I would have liked to write the review with her name but the receipt didn't have it and I didn't ask her while I was at the pharmacy. I've been to this Walgreens many times in the past years living in the area. Super convenient that it's 24/7. Being 24/7, I completely understand the employees may have to deal with alot more than the normal locations. However, my experience the other night with their pharmacy was so awful I felt this review was necessary. I had a prescription for some medical equipment through CVS, but at that time of the night this Walgreens location was the only one open near me and most convenient. The closest CVS location open at that time was much further. I called in to this Walgreens and confirmed they had the medical equipment I needed. The female pharmacist/tech told me I had to call CVS to transfer the RX. I thought this was kinda odd because it's usually the other way around and when I called CVS they told me Walgreens had to call in for it. And so when I called Walgreens back, I let the pharmacy associate know she would need to call in and asked if she could help me out. At this point her attitude was straight out rude. She answered, "Uhmmm I have about 200 prescriptions right now so yours isn't going to get filled for a few more hours". I told her I needed this equipment as soon as possible so I told her that would be ok. She then said "ok so why couldn't CVS fill it?" & proceeded to put me on hold saying "hold on I have to take care of a lot of things right now". At that point I just hung up. I don't expect much, if at all, from retail stores but this probably was the worst experience I ever had at any pharmacy. read more

Waited in the drive thru for well over 30 minutes just told be told a prescription I had was not ready and to return in another 30 minutes when I received a text 18 hours prior the day before that it was ready to be picked up. Not sure what happened here?! I've been a pharmacy customer for over 20 years, it was the smoothest running pharmacy in town and this last year, with new employees it's come to the point that I'm going to have my scripts moved to Costco. The only employee that kept me here was the pharmacist Leah! She is AMAZING but the rest seem to hate their job, refuse to answer the phone and if they do, will leave you on hold until it disconnects! Don't get mr started on the drive through...every single time I've needed a renewal they will find a reason to not renew it (have to wait for the pharmacist to get back) even though it's the same med I've been getting for 15 years! Never had these issues until the change in employees? They will find anyway not to fill a script!! Absolute shame! read more

After being on hold for a few minutes Charolette answered the phone and wow what an amazing woman. She could sense my distress and was the most kind and helpful human. She is a god send. This is the WORST pharmacy- avoid at all costs! Prescriptions are never ready (on several occasions), the staff is indifferent, and the chairs in the waiting area are so filthy & gross (it is a bad sign that they have a waiting area to begin with). I would worry about catching an illness when coming here as you are set aside for a lengthy wait among people coughing, sneezing and spreading germs all around you. In fact, you should only come here if you WANT to get sick. Otherwise, go to another pharmacy! read more
