Not a great experience. Like I said in an email to the pharmacist, either they are overworked or understaffed or both, but it clearly conveyed to the customer loud and clear. Customer service is not a priority and more of a hassle. Different staff convey different things and I must say in the pharmacist defense, he corrected the misinformation new staff were telling patients. I still have prescriptions there that will need to be refilled but the customer service could definitely improve. read more

This place is quirky. Not a cute kind of quirky either. For shopping, the prices usually aren't super great. Some of the candy I've chosen is not fresh and the selection is picked over. It's damn near impossible to find an associate to help you as well so thank goodness they have one self checkout kiosk! Apparently there's a recurring issue with the outer door opening and closing but management doesn't seem to do much to correct it. The pharmacy is kind of slow, but they've processed all my orders correctly and I've had no issues getting covid tests results over the last two years (between me and my husband we've had tests here 5 times). Their photo center does a good job and I got our Christmas cards made here and was very pleased with them! I return here since it's so close to home and it's my works preferred pharmacy. read more

This is the new Glen Ellyn CVS Pharmacy location. It is conveniently located, has an easily accessible parking lot, and the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever encountered at a pharmacy. While leaving a doctor's appointment we received a call from CVS stating they had already filled the prescription that the doctor had called in (which couldn't have been more than 5 mins prior) and it was ready for pickup. The woman stated that she notice it was for a newborn and she wanted to make sure we could pick it up on the way home. Wow, impressive! Upon arriving, and using the drive-thru, the top-notch service continued. While ringing up the order she told us that in the time between when she called us and now she had found a different coupon which knocked the price down an additional 50%! Finally, the pharmacist stopped by the window to see if we had any questions and to give a tip on applying the ointment to an infant. The service level here is absolutely incredible and they have won my business indefinitely! read more

Every pharmacist/pharm tech I've ever come in contact with has been rude. Thought it was a fluke...nope. Don't even make eye contact anymore just stand in line wait my turn and get out as quickly as possible. I miss Walgreen's but insurance prefers CVS. read more

It seems they are really making an effort. The pharmacy called me personally to remind me to refill prescriptions that were due which I excellent because I alway forget. Inside the store they are working hard and doing everything they can for overly entitled people. Just be nice and say thank you. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. DO NOT GO TO CVS FOR COVID TESTING. CVS is ilequipt and completely disorganized to take these tests let alone get results out in a timely manner. The pharmacist don't appear to have any idea how the computer system works and the test timing for the results changes. CVS made promises they couldn't keep and are unavailable to talk to. I wish I could give a zero review. Finding it helpful pharmacist apparently is rare nowadays but I suggest staying clear from this pharmacy unless you intend on making things even more complicated for yourself. The man who works there most often will openly belittle you and appears to find joy in doing it. Walgreens on main from now on. read more

Picked up two of three prescriptions on 07/28/2022. I was not informed the 3rd would not be filled unless I called. Also, pharmacist on duty was quite brisk, and rude. If they were not my preferred pharmacy I would go back to Walgreens. Name brands they do not carry in stock, and when transferred from Walgreen's one was not filled for more than 3 weeks, when I caught the error. I was told they do not carry that drug, then why did you accept the transfer from Walgreens? It is close to the bus location, and my previous Walgreens was great but hours to 6pm during the week and can no longer get my name brand drugs my doctor orders for me as Generics generally do not work for me since I have Hashimotos. Today, the pharmacist was extremely rude when I tried to order a controlled Med. Saying that can not automatically be refilled, I do understand that, but it was sent electronically by my doctor on 07/27/2022. If I had not called it would not have filled at all. They never have the home covid tests covered by insurance always out of stock since I started there in March, 2022. In January, I am switching to another pharmacy elsewhere. Avoid CVS at all costs. Glad I did not get a Covid test here, read other reviews good to know. I already switched from Walgreens earlier this year, who is way overcrowded and no longer my preferred pharmacy. read more

WALGREENS FROM NOW ON !!! As convenient this location is, (one half mile from my house) I will never return! My wife and I went in to buy her some Clariton. CVS has it locked in a case and you have to push a button and an announcement comes over the intercom that a customer needs assistance. After pressing the button and waiting 5 minutes I pressed it again. I saw two people checking out other customers and a pharmacist on the phone. No one gave us a look or nod or anything. We waited 10 more minutes and then just left. As we were leaving I explained to one of the clerks that we had been waiting. He was rude and not apologetic at all. I told him we will go to Walgreens and never be back! He chuckled!!!! We went to Walgreens found the Clariton on the shelf in a protective case. We brought it to the counter, the clerk removed it from the case and rang us up - total time invested two minutes !!!!! read more

It has been over a week and I have not received COVID test results. i have had a test at Elmhurst hospital prior to a surgery and results came back in 2 days. I had a procedure at Rush and had a Covid Test and again the results came back in 2 days. Yesterday i called and was told they will look into it. Today I was told they have not seen my results. The sad thing I was told it can take up to another 7 to 10 days. Do yourself a favor, do not waste your time with this clinic. read more
