Footlong hot dogs
Stephen M.

What can I really say, it's another Walmart. I was looking for a few items and hoped that I might find them here. I actually found some of what I was looking for and was very happy with that. If I had more time I would have actually looked at more stuff. I actually found some clothing and some food items that I hoped to bring back with me. I have to say that prices were in line with what I expected. The storage self was in pretty good shape and very well stopped. There were a lot of people shopping and when I was done I was able to use the self checkout and get out very quickly. I was actually hoping to get back to this location to see if I could pick up a few more items but I basically ran out of time so I will have to find another store further down the road. While walking through the food section I ran across Sahlen's footlong hot dogs. I haven't seen these in a store in literally forever. I was very tempted to buy some as a novelty for people I know back home but I resisted and only purchased the items that I was looking for.

I'm not sure if this is the right location or not but I'm so pissed that I'm going leave this review at several locations that are nearby. I got a notification while I was out that my package was delivered I came home, the package was not there I looked at the notification again I clicked on the link. It showed a picture of where the package was left. It was not left in my building, it was not left at my door it was left in the courtyard next to a fire hydrant. When I went to go look for it surprise, surprise it was gone. Someone had stolen it. The drivers name was Leslie and Leslie needs to stop being lazy and deliver to the building like normal deliveries.

The baby toys I BOUGHT. TOTALLY against Walmart policy, BTW, to ask for receipts for anything OTHER than large electronics.

TL; DR: Treated like a CRIMINAL because I didn't use a plastic bag after purchase. Today (8/18/18) I went through the Self-Checkout literally 20' from the Exit door and purchased $54 worth of toys for my baby. I try to be environmentally conscious and usually decline plastic bags wherever I shop unless I'm in dire straits. (I had done a return for a birthday toy he had received and hadn't planned on shopping. Thus, I didn't have any reusable bags with me.) Upon trying to exit, I was asked for my receipt. I asked why it was needed and was told because my items were unbagged. (1) There are cameras EVERYWHERE, in every aisle, and situated so customers know they are being recorded. (2) The same is to be said at the Self-Checkouts: there is a camera at each register trained on the customer: both IN the register AND ABOVE. (3) The Self-Checkouts are manned by an employee just standing there, leaning against her register, WATCHING the four lanes. (4) Being 20' from the door, I was in view of ALL of the above, PLUS the "greeter" at the Exit. (5) I PAID FOR MY MERCHANDISE. I asked for a manager so I could ask more about this so-called policy. An African American female Assistant Manager told me that the policy is they check receipts for all unbagged items. I asked to see a copy of this policy, and was told they could not produce a written copy. I called Walmart's corporate Customer Service number, and in the meantime was joined by another Assistant Manager (Hispanic male). BTW, their # is (800) 925-6278. Interestingly enough, while I was talking to Walmart Customer Service on the phone, the door greeter started stopping every. single. person. - with or without a bag - for their receipt. Walmart Customer Service told me that the policy is that receipts are requested to be reviewed upon Exit for ALL LARGE ELECTRONIC ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE BAGGED: i.e. televisions. It does not apply to anything else, including the small toys that I purchased. I was told that they are going to send a report to the Store Manager so that they could review the policies with the employees. I thanked the Customer Service agent and then relayed what I was told to both Assistant Managers who were still standing there with me. The African American female Assistant Manager got snippy attitude and told me I "could leave" and "to have a nice day." Needless to say, I will not be patronizing Walmart again. There's a reason that I've never been hassled for not using plastic bags at places like Target and every other retailer I've shopped: because Walmart is trashy and views their customers as criminals who are stealing merchandise.

Very good delivery. I have never had one problem or missing/damaged items. The shoppers pick out good produce.

Everything is sold "as-is" and all sales are final. A lot of the items are returns so you should check for stains, holes or broken zippers before checking out. Overall, if you are patient, get adrenaline rushes for some chaos, you can come out of here with some good designer finds.

Their stuff might be from Nordstrom, but the staff's rudeness is way beyond. After an hour of searching for the vow renewal dress, I finally found "the one", but the worst part was there was no tag. One of their policies is no tag, no sale, but I thought it should be a simple fix. The fitting room staff said the process of getting a new tag could take a day or two, which might not be the case at other retailers. Normally, it would take just a minute or two, even at stores like Savers or Goodwill. She also refused to call the manager to meet me, saying there was no point because the manager would go through the same process anyway. She suggested I wander around to find him. I decided to walk away toward the front store and stopped to ask two young staff working in the pants and shoes sections to call the manager for me. They said they couldn't find the manager nearby, so they called another staff member to call him. Finally, I was able to speak with Alex, the manager. I was on the verge of tears because I was upset and stressed. This store is like a thrift store--if you don't get the item that day, you might not find it again because they don't have the same inventory as a retail store. As I mentioned, it took me over an hour to find this dress. I explained the situation to Alex, including how much time I spent, the importance of finally finding the one dress that you and your spouse love, the stress of potentially losing it and not being able to find it again if I had to wait a day to come back--especially since they have no hold policy. I was crying while talking to him, and he said he would see what he could do and walked to the back office. While waiting for the manager, I overheard giggling and mocking sounds from the two young staff I had asked for help earlier. When I turned around, they stopped but still giggled in my direction. I caught one of them pretending to cry. I approached them and took this as a teaching/ learning opportunity. I asked if they were making fun of me, and they denied it. Then I told them I saw that they mocked me crying. One girl said she asked her friend if I was crying, and her friend said yes--that's all. I told them that wasn't right because I had seen it happen quickly enough. As a teacher, I explained that that's not very nice, and they shouldn't do that to anyone because it's unkind and mean. I also told them that I believe the world should be about treating people with respect and kindness, which is one of the most important things these days. I spoke to them respectfully and calmly, without causing a scene, since they already looked embarrassed. The other staff members stepped in and asked what happened, so I explained. They moved the two young staff to different sections. However, none of them apologized. Alex returned and was able to put the tag on without any issues. He then quickly walked away, so I didn't get a chance to express my concerns. But at that moment, I was just so happy to have my dress that I chose to walk away from the stressful situation instead of letting it ruin my day. Lastly, the cashiers--maybe they're having a bad day--none of them smiled or greeted me. When I asked questions, they just brushed me off. I've never written such a long review before, but I hope the company or someone higher up sees this so they can improve the store environment and customer experience. In a world where you can be anything, be kind! That's all. P.S. Would I go back again? Maybe, because there are so many good finds with great value there. But I might have to wait a while because of what I just experienced.

While staying at the nearby Westin, which is walking distance, I popped into Yorktown Center for…read morenothing more than wandering around a mall and maybe grabbing a quick bite from a mall food court. I was able to achieve both here! Yorktown Center and mall are the anchor of this area and have all the classic vibes of an interior mall while being surrounded by open-air shopping and eateries. Additionally, this complex also has a movie theater an a gym. So, multi-faceted and mixed used for sure. The mall has a lot of the standard mall store you expect, but they also have a good variety of smaller branded stores and even some local shops. Like any other mall right now, there were serval empty store fronts. While the shops were cool to wander through and by, I came for the food court, which is huge! Featured a solid selection of chain and local spots. The mall was clean and well kept. Worn in some places, but for the most part in good shape. Overall, solid spot to spend some time at, with or without purpose.

Firstly, I appreciated that this mall is located walking distance from a big store-front shopping center, including a hotel and stores like Target and a bus stop. A circus was on tour in the parking lot the same weekend I arrived here, which I would assume would've brought more business to the mall. It seems to be a good spot for pop-up events like that. And secondly, service dogs are welcomed for those that need them. Overall I had a great experience with the stores that this mall does have, including the biggest highlight being at Victoria Secret's where the staff greeted me, gave me a post-weight loss bra fitting and great service when checking out with my new items! Vacancies are plenty-full in this mall unfortunately and specifically I want to mention Barbra's Bookstore - a small owned bookstore in the mall that I 1000000% wanted to support, mostly because they fullllllly advertised their banned book section and had tote bags for sale around the store branded with those same banned books *see pictures* , BUT - no one acknowledged me in the store & I don't appreciate that. Decent mall, decent stores, great food court (Burning Mouth being the best place) - with lounging, sitting area. There's also a family bathroom in this mall, located by the food court that is HUGE - and I'm sure helpful to mothers nursing. A family, small-oriented mall indeed!

This store smelled so good with nice music playing. There were so many cute and nice things to purchase from furniture, home décor, painting, candles the list goes on. The prices weren't too bad. The only negative thing is that the workers were all behind the counter. Never said a word to any of their customers. Just standing there chatter boxing away with each other. It's such a surprise that not one of them would greet or come out on the floor to assist customers. It wasn't like there were 2 or 3 customers in the store that Friday Evening. After dusting in the first week I noticed saw dust underneath one of the chargers but thought nothing of it. The following week while dusting again I noticed sawdust yet again under two or three of the chargers. After careful inspection I noticed a couple of bugs crawling on the wooden chargers. I did some research and to my disgust, found out they were TERMITES! I immediately removed them from my house and called the store. The manager on the phone was very helpful and encouraged me to bring them in right away for a refund. When I arrived she was not in, but the associate refunded my purchase price with a gift card. They did not seemed concerned that the product I returned has termites and could transfer to other products in the store. I wrote to customer service and after explaining, was offered a gift card. I received the gift card yesterday for $20! This is not even enough to cover 1 new wooden charger & barely the gas spent to drive back and forth to return them. I'm insulted! I expected much more from Kirkland's. I encourage others NOT to purchase products without careful inspection! I will not be returning to this store. I have a complaint on file with the corporate office and have remediated my house to deter an infestation. We have been advised by the exterminator to carefully watch for signs on our wooden table and floors that could have possibly been infected.
