I called this CVS today and my call was met by a friendly, calm voice who stated "let me see how I can help you" after I frantically rattled my concerns (unrelated to CVS) off to him. He was polite, friendly, professional and above all - he was sincere in his offer to help me resolve my issue. He looked into my complaint and validated my concerns. That alone was so nice... to not be dismissed. Then he got into the solution and explained the steps he was going to take to help me solve my problem with my doctor. He called me back quickly to confirm what he had done to get in touch with them. He went way above and beyond to help me. I was crying and frustrated. He was so kind and helpful. At the end of the call, I expressed my gratitude and asked him who he was and he said "I'm Ted; I'm one of the pharmacists here and I'm happy to help you." What an absolutely incredible human being. Poor customer service. Had 2 coupons to use at self checkout and one of them wasn't accepted because the machine couldn't tell it had been dropped inside. Staff took 6 minutes to come over and help. All she did was grunt at me and tell me I was "doing it wrong" in a condescending tone. She unlocked the machine, gave me my coupon, and walked away. Machine still didn't accept it. Poooooor customer service. Not asking a lot for staffmembers to be respectful when I'm having a problem checking out. This staff member has been rude when I've visited this CVS before. read more

This has got to be the worst pharmacy. I have been going there for two years since my other CVS pharmacy was closed. I have asked to coordinate my prescriptions in one pick-up . It works for one pick-up only and I have to readjust again. Pharmacist and the store managers are robotic and do not listen. After leaving a store and calling in my concern they said that they would refill it and when they called me it was still incomplete. Let start by saying that they're running a scam. I noticed a charge for carepass membership. I had to google to see what it was! So be very careful when they offer coupons that they have. The sales associate never told me what she was doing. She said it's free, I'm not charging you for this. I had to be on hold the whole day to get a rep. It would disconnect. They removed me and said they could not reimbursed me Because " I use it! "Meaning that discount they have me without me knowing they were enrolling me. But here's the kicker the pharmacist that work in that particular pharmacy have no fucking clue no intellectual curiosity they have no moderate management ability to inquire as to WHY or where the prescriptions are within the CVS purchasing chain or why there has been a two month delay and when do they think this may be solved, unfortunately, they feel that the customer service verbiage of just saying "it's not in yet we will text you when it's filled" is apparently going to be a good enough answer for the last eight weeks? YES EIGHT WEEKS ! Although most of their clientele has one eyebrow and is upset about not smoking inside while wearing suit pants and underwear T-shirt and socks with sandals some of us actually would like to have a more informative answer or narrative as to why it's not being filled and or to be given other options that we may have to look into, So CVS pull your head out of your slow 3rd world lack of facts loser ass and join the world of American exceptionalism and lean into your job a little bit more and maybe go find out what the fuck is wrong with your supply chain. CVS GO FIND OUT WHY YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO FILL SOME MEDICATIONS WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS LEANING ON MALPRACTICE!!! As you advise the customer to any drug interactions or efficacy in taking particular drugs when you give them to them don't you think it would also be a responsibility to tell the person on the phone if they stop taking the medication that they're currently on that they're going to have to take other action to mitigate any health complications that arise from that you can't be responsible for the drugs and only pick which responsibility you're going to be a part of if you're not able to dispense the drugs in a timely fashion then you need to be equipped to inform the public what they need to do to mitigate any health problems illness or possible death from not complying to the doctors orders of taking certain prescriptions other than answering the phone and saying it is not in stock right now when we fill it will text you that's not an answer and it's irresponsible. When you're asked directly as to what to do you offer no suggestions nor do you even saying slight concern so you've chosen and part of the medical field and yet you act like zombies. Anyway obviously completely dissatisfied this is not a service situation this is a complete breakdown in the pharmacy and its ability to fulfill its obligations to the public within reason. read more

Horrible customer service. Unless you go during select hours of the day, please do not expect to be treated in a courteous and professional manner. Amy, a "supervisor", refused to let me use the ladies room, even tho this seems to be a non issue during the day. I am a regular customer who frequents this store about once a week. The management staff during the day is very compassionate and accommodating. Amy chose to make me wait until she finished her task at self check out, rather than simply pause long enough to give me the store director's name, who I will be calling first thing in the morning- what ever happened to "customers come first"?? Instead, she was argumentative and talked down to me like I was a piece of toilet paper stuck to her shoe - I can't imagine ever speaking to another human being with that kind of aloof and rude tone. I was finally able to pry out of her his first name -Jack - but she advised that if I wanted his last name, I could go outside and check the window. When I asked for the phone number, she said she couldn't give out his personal number.. I said, "don't be ridiculous- I'm just asking for the store #." Apparently, using the word "ridiculous" brands me as being the rude one, because she then admonished me by saying that she would not assist because of the way I was speaking to her. Sad, how in our society, if you're female & being direct and professional in manner, you are labeled "rude." AND, by the way, she wasn't assisting me at all in the first place! By now security came over to observe. I never did get the phone number to the store or Jacks last name! I've worked in the service industry for 30+ years & have never even dreamed of treating customers like the way I was treated. Nor would I ever think of putting a personality like Amy's in a leadership position. I didn't even purchase what I went in to purchase, because a) I had to pee so bad after being denied access to use a public restroom & b) I felt yucky after the whole encounter & I really didn't appreciate the security guard watching my every move as I was comparing items. So I picked up the Rx from the pharmacy that I promised my elderly neighbor I would get for her and left. I'll call Jack tomorrow . And then I will transfer my own Rx's to a different CVS location. This complaint is about the pharmacy and more specifically, two members of the pharmacy team who wear white coats- one who is a pharmacist, the other whose capacity I do not know, and "Joe," the retail store manager at this location. Today, Saturday, July 20, 2019, I visited the emergency room at Glendale Memorial Hosptial due to a horrible bout of excruciating sciatica. I had to obtain a ride to the hospital through Lyft because I was unable to operate a vehicle. My walking was so impaired, I struggled to walk from the car that dropped me off at the emergency room. The doctor I met with, ordered a single injection to quell the immense pain and provided three prescriptions that I was told would reduce inflation, further suppress pain, and a third medication that would directly treat the sciatic nerve. I left the hospital and slowly made my way down a block and a half to CVS located at the corner of Los Feliz Blvd and San Fernando Rd. This is normally a short distance to walk but today it was one of the most arduous and painful walks I've ever endured. I entered the store and as I approached the pharmacy counter I noticed the "drop-off" windows were boarded up. I looked at the time and it was 5:56 p.m. A schedule on the wall referenced that closing time is at 6 p.m. A woman whose hair was tied to the back and wearing a white coat looked up and said, "I'll be with you in a minute" and then resumed speaking to a man who had lots of questions about his prescriptions. At 5:59 p.m., the man left the counter and she motioned for me to step forward. As I approached her, I stretched out my right hand holding the single sheet containing the prescriptions I'd been given. She said, "I'm sorry, but we're closed." Technically and according to the sign, closing is at 6 p.m. which brings into question why the drop-off counter was closed at 5:56 p.m. I explained that I had just left the emergency room, was diagnosed with sciatica, was experiencing tremendous difficulty walking and can't drive. The pharmacist, a paunchy 50-some-year-old Asian who stood on the other side of the partition where prepared prescriptions are stored yelled, "NO MORE PRESCRIPTIONS FOR TODAY" and immediately resumed processing prescriptions. The woman added, "We couldn't help you anyway because our computers are shut down." Immediately after saying this, a large Black man who I later discovered is the retail manager named Joe, walked up and informed her he is ready to shut down the registers. If the computers were truly inoperative, then why was he advising her that he was about to close the registers and why was the pharmacist still processing orders? You can't process prescriptions if the computers are inactive. I asked the woman if she could make an exception because I can't drive nor can I walk to another pharmacy. Joe then stated, "You can go to the CVS down San Fernando Road" and points east. Could he have been any less specific or glib? He added, "Or you can just drop it off and pick it up tomorrow." Service is a factor that used to be incredibly important to retail businesses. Apparently, at CVS, upper-level employees are obtuse to the fact that the quality of service provided by them has a direct impact upon cultivating new business and customer loyalty. Though I can confidently state I have never previously requested an exception made to fill a prescription by a pharmacy preparing to close but this was an urgent and critical event involving my well-being and the need to acquire medications that would alleviate the excruciating pain I was enduring. It is unbelievable that the woman, the pharmacist, and Joe, the retail manager, are all equally ignorant of understanding what constitutes professional acumen, delving out proactive responses to sometimes unique situations, or comprehending they are responsible to uphold CVS's standards. I have always found the employees of the pharmacy who wear blue uniforms to be helpful even when they are providing service to long lines of customers but what perplexes me is that these three gross incompetents could not conduct themselves in a manner that would reflect well for CVS. It is also quite apparent that these three think providing services ends at 5:56 p.m. or that ignoring customers or offering inane solutions are somehow going to placate a customer or translate into glowing reviews of CVS's services or of their individual conduct. Based on this location's sub-par reviews on Yelp, one would think that these people would understand how important it is to work to dispel what is apparently a problem-dynamic adversely affecting how customers view service at this location. I will also be mailing a letter to their headquarters. read more

Line through the store with one person on register. And there's about 8 people working in the background but you would think someone would come help everyone out so we're not waiting 1/2 hour in line. Nope. Everytime I send my prescriptions to this location they're out of stock but won't tell you until you get there even if your prescription has been done for several hours. Not even crazy medications very basic ones. They also won't send u a notification informing you your prescription is ready for pick up. I hope you guys read this review and do better for your store. Worst cvs ever. I tried printing here and spent about 45 min working on a project. Low and behold the worker turns around after I was almost done and says that the printers are not working. I asked her why aren't the computers off and no signs. She blamed the morning shift! Unbelievable! This store is just lazy. I wouldn't be this angry had this happened to me this a single time. However, the same thing happened to me around Xmas time when I was trying to print Xmas cards for family and friend. Open 24 hours! This is my go-to CVS location. I'm a little addicted to shopping at CVS, I blame their awesome coupon system. If you have a CVS reward card (and you should definitely have one), you scan it at the machine for coupons before doing your shopping so you know what you can save on. The system takes note of things you buy, and gives you coupons for them. That's why its so awesome -- coupons for items I already buy? So nice! Never had a problem with their pharmacy when getting medication. Store itself is a little on the older side, could use some revamping/remodeling... Customer service is good, the employees are friendly. Plenty of free parking in the large lot. read more

Fist of all, this CVS is open 24 hours. There is always available parking spots . It is easy to find. Second of all, this store has almost all products that you would expect to find over the counter (including household items). There was never a time when I visited this store needing for example a makeup item of a certain brand and it wasn't stocked. It's very organized and the employees are super helpful in helping customer locate items. They are very friendly and always make you feel welcomed! read more

I have mixed reviews for this place because....so am finally gonna write my review.....well just cause -Customer service on about half (or a lil more) of the employees are fantastic and give them 5 stars. -Photo dude 1 star because he doesn't like me. -One supervisor who I know still works there is 4 star. -One asst manager is very helpful and great so 5 stars for her. -Pharmacy is good, they helped me out a few times but they also lacked it other times, so 4 stars. -Front end cashiers, sorry but I'd say 2 1/2- 3 stars. A little bit on the slow side and still sometimes not enough people to come quickly for back up. I'll still be eventually coming back since it close to my house. read more

Needed to get some cash back and I wanted something to eat. Went here and was very pleased with customer service and the fresh sandwich selection. The cashier Lilit was very nice to me. But I was most happy with how nice she was to the elderly woman in front of me. By the way, my sandwich was pretty good. The only problem I had was that I could not use the self check which I would have like to. But I guess I got lucky because the customer service cooled me down. I was a little irritated because I just missed my bus because I needed some change and I had not eaten all day. But between the staff and my sandwich Im now good. Got a call over 3 hrs ago that prescription for my 4 yr old was ready. We were at an event on the other side of town and couldn't make it until just now. Went through the drive thru and was handed a stapled bag and then drove home. Opened the bag and it's a bottle of powder. It had not been mixed! It was supposed to be liquid amoxicillin but they gave us a bottle of powder. I called and they said we have to go back for them to mix it. Seriously?? What a waste of time. This CVS is at a busy intersection so be very careful pulling in and pulling out. I like how the store is well-lit and clean, the supervisor is helpful, but there are often long, long lines, and no shopping carts. Last time I went, I followed a guy out so I could use his shopping cart afterwards. He laughed, and echoed the same sentiment. Where did all the shopping carts go? Sometimes a supervisor or staff will beckon you to try the automated "express" checkouts. Don't! They tell you it's quicker than that long line. No, they are "slow boat to hell." Something often goes wrong, and you have to call over a supervisor if the super has stranded you. If the supervisor is standing there, they will also have to figure out what happened. I rarely use "express" automated checkouts, I only succumb under duress b/c I want to people to keep their jobs. Seriously. read more

I don't shop here often unless i hear about a good deal they might be having other than that I just pick up my medicine or prescription and be ony jolly way. So this rating is really toward the pharmacy and the polite way they run their system. I never taken more than 10 min. Waiting for my meds, they always try to knock down the line of people waiting as fast as they can and making my day of running errands easier. Morning time is when i go due to the parking lot getting filled fast as other surrounding stores open up. Once in a blue moon they do have trouble with finding my prescription and might take longer but the other when am in and out of their make it up. read more

Looking for a hearing aid batteries didn't know where to go so I asked pharmacy pharmacist whose jackets displayed "USC" sounded like Patrick from SpongeBob And I had no idea what even a hearing aid and pointed over there ...... went to the cashier asked for hearing aids batteries and again was pointed "over there" not even in the direction where there were a batteries good luck you're on your own. Sometimes it's a little dirty, and if there is even one person ahead of you in the line at the pharmacy, you are going to have a long wait.
