When gentrification occurs, you find so much joy in places that never changed. This is one of them. Cheap, friendly, neighborhood market. These are the kind of places you should be supporting.

I love Vince's Market! I've been buying sub sandwiches from them for years! My dad brought me here when I was a little girl and this market has continued to be a part of my life well into adulthood! They have the most affordable subs and you can always fill up on lunch for under $10!

The best naborhood store in Atwater Village, CA 90039 you can call them and ask if they have something before you go, and the lunch sandwiches of out of this work, hot or cold what a menu 323 674-4798 , and the kindness is the best,

    Amazing Hot Roast Beef Sandwich!

This place is amazing. The cutest little spot that's been here for decades. Two very cool peeps operating the cashier up front and at the sandwich counter in back. The hot roast beef sandwich reminded me of a roast beef po' boy and an Italian beef in one. I ordered one and noticed they were priced very friendly. I had a feeling I'd be back. I went back in for a second one moments later in awe waiting not long at all for another. Luckily, they're cheap enough you could try a couple but, let me tell you more about the beef. Simple 4 ingredients on a roll. They packed it full with beef and the best part if you've ever eaten a po' boy fully dressed you know what happens to the Mayo and juices. I mean this thing poured a river of juices on the pavement. Delish! Tailgating recommended. It was nice chatting with the crew after my first round. Thank you and I'll def be back soon!

Heard about this place in TV, since I was close by the area, ordered the famous ham and cheese and also ordered the carnitas, good sandwiches for affordable price.

Stopped by this GEM of a place, while out prom dress shopping with the hubby & daughter's, sandwich was so good just how I expected. Very nice customer service and store is nicely organized and inviting!

Deluca's feels like a proper Italian deli with fresh sandwiches, pastries, soups, pasta, and shelves full of imported Italian goods that make you want to spend way more than you planned. I ordered the panino al pollo and added pesto, which was absolutely the right move. So flavorful and satisfying. The fiery steak sandwich was also really good, and since it was chilly outside, we paired everything with their bell pepper soup, which was different from what I usually go for but surprisingly delicious. The staff was super kind and welcoming too. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to whenever the Italian sandwich craving hits again.

You order at the counter, and if you're dining in, you'll get a number and they'll bring the food to your table. Their sandwiches are fantastic I tried the Panino al Pollo which consists of blackened chicken breast (slightly spicy), cabbage, avocado, tomato, parmesan, and light mayo. The sandwich was a perfect combination of flavors and I loved the slight spicy kick from the chicken. Additionally, the ciabatta bread was soo chewy and tasted very fresh! I also tried some of the Figs & Pigs (roasted pork, cheddar cheese, homemade fig butter) and this was just so heavenly too!

Just found this place through Instagram ads and decided to give it a try. Just for information,…read moretheir working hours are 9 AM-9 PM, 7 days a week. I mentioned this because we missed it on one of our attempts. Finally, on Sunday evening, my husband and I had a chance to visit Butcher and Booze. Very interesting store, with a delicious smell. There is a huge section of drinks where you can find very unique wines and alcoholic beverages. They also have a section of Japanese drinks, and in another corner, different kinds of unique seasonings, BBQ charcoal, and other BBQ supplies. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Next to the drinks section, there are several tables available indoors and two tables on the sidewalk for outdoor dining to enjoy your meals. Their food menu is very interesting, and we tried the Philly cheesesteak and pastrami sandwiches (which they prepare completely in-house from A to Z). The sandwiches were super delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. One thing that surprised me was the amount of salt they used -- it was exactly the right amount, and we didn't get thirsty after eating them. These sandwiches are some of the best we've tried so far, and I highly recommend giving them a try. I noticed a huge samovar (large kettle) and another kettle in the corner of the open kitchen, and I asked about them. Argisht, who noticed my interest and who I believe is behind the kitchen and the delicious food success there, started a very warm and helpful conversation with us and surprised us by serving cups of tea. The tea tasted super soft and delicious. If you have ever tried Middle Eastern tea, you will love this tea. Luckily, they are selling it in the store, if I am not wrong it was Sri Lanka tea, which I have never seen in any store around Glendale or Burbank. Thank you for the great food, awesome store, and very positive and friendly service. With just one visit, Butcher and Booze will become one of your usual spots, so don't miss it!

We came here on Christmas Eve hoping to try their sandwiches but to also buy some meat as a white elephant gift. First off we were greeted warmly by the staff - not just the cashier but every staff member working behind the counter. On top of that, they gave us a shot of cognac for my husband and I to try. We decided to try buy some wagyu burger patties for the white elephant (we ended up winning these back during our white elephant - they were excellent!). The patties were juicy, rich, and so tasty! Can't wait to try other cuts! When we checked out, they offered us two small complimentary bottles of champagne and some produce from their refrigerated area. this was so kind of them to do so. This place is like your one stop shop - hot food, butcher, alcoholic drinks, liquor, and other cooking goods like seasonings, caviar, butter etc. Unfortunately they were not serving sandwhiches that day so we didn't get to try but we will definitely be coming back to try! Thanks so much to the staff and Butcher and Booze for treating us like fam.

It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. I normally would save a half for another meal but my "Pasadena" hit the spot that I finished it up all at once. Quality bread, meats, cheese, fillings aka all the ingredients...to boot! PS the kid loved theirs and so did the hub. Thanks for making dinner: easy and delicious! There are no pictures because it was too delicious to take the time out and take any. Just order.
