Take a quick stop at the coupon machine and see what you may be eligible for. The shelves here are well stocked and items are presented well. You can get a wide variety of items here ranging from vitamins to milk. It's almost like a large convenience store. The pharmacy is located to the rear. On average there are two friendly people there to assist with pick ups. The line can get long so be patient. Overall this store does an excellent job of providing good customer service, average prices and the convenience of finding a wide variety of products. Went in for 1 thing , long line the cashier opened another register and another girl standing guiding guest to either self checkout or to the cashier, the girl guiding people gave attitude to the person in front of me and she just kept giving them attitude, they I got fed up waiting for her to tell me to go to the self checkout , I walked thru her and the other guest because they were going back and forth so I scanned my one item. It's a shame. I pay for my prescriptions here just so I don't have to drive to a savons where I'm OVERED my son needs breathing treatment or steroids for his asthma they will tell me to check back in HOURS what is going on???? This is our neighborhood pharmacy and No empathy no care in the world. A woman in-front of me said she could wait for 30 min to get her meds they said "no just come tomorrow or another day" the customer service is horrible. Total regrets having my dad's prescription auto refilled at CVS. The medications are NEVER ready. HOW?! And they promise another exact date and time and it's NOT ready! It's such a challenge to get medications that's been ordered by the doctor. I understand that they might be short staffed but the workers are NOT friendly. read more

I was at the pharmacy a few weeks ago and asked an employee where manager Bradley was and come to find out CVS let him go. Bradley was so professional, so knowledgeable and so friendly. Shame on you CVS for letting such an exemplary employee go. I wish Bradley nothing but the best and as far as I am concerned he was too good for your establishment. The Hacienda Heights CVS Pharmacy has repeatedly said your prescription is ready for pickup, or will be ready so "come on down" But when I get there the representatives searches her computer and looks like a dear in the headlights and finally says I can't find anything, Go wait again in Drop Off line! If they can't put their hands on the bag then they shouldn't tell me to come on down. And if the doctor has not approved the refill then just say so and please don't have me drive over, wait in a long line, then tell me to wait in another line to find out why it isn't ready like they said it was / would be. This has happened several times in recent months and I'm done with it. I pick up for my sister, girlfriend and myself and am going to change our pharmacy to a small mom & pop one around the corner, Heidi's, which friends have recomendedthat I should have used in the first place, but CVS was convenient because I (USED TO) buy other items there at CVS at the same time I picked up our prescriptions. Not any more I just won't go to CVS at all. I can go across the street to Von's to get whatever (for less) and to Heidi's for our meds! TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION!! read more

This is the second time I called the automated system to place my drugs for refill and the system states my drugs will be ready but when I go to fetch them they say it's not available. If it's not gonna be ready then don't give me a time or call me and tell me not to come in because this is crap of a system. This is definitely poor poor service to a point I will not get my drugs here or recommend this pharmacy. I don't like that your front desk people give me inaccurate information and tell me it's my fault when your darn system is to blame. Service is so bad, I see so many staffs inside and no one bothered to help me. There is no signs of vaccination and how do I know where is the line for vaccination. We did online check in, but staff doesn't know what's going on and can't find our appointment and nothing as prepared. read more

All CVSes are not created equal, and while I wanted to love this one because of its perfectly nostalgic location and the way it reminds me of defunct old Taco Bells and slightly younger but still extant old Del Tacos and donut shops and gas-station rejiggerings and especially Andi, I only liked it. It used to be a larger store, possible a supermarket. Maybe an Alpha Beta back in the day, although I doubt it. It promises a lot from the parking lot, and by "promises a lot," i mean that its size and stately palm trees are inviting. But when you get inside, you realize that CVS got the lease on this place for a song, because it's just way too big for this particular CVS. That too-bigness leads to all kinds of annoying wasted space, empty shelves, and hard feelings. Yes, I know, supply-chain issues. But really? What's with the carpet starting and stopping at jaunty angles at random places? Some monster-truck guy--or was he a Harley-T-shirt-wearing guy?--seemed to be following me around the store, or he just happened to have a hankering for what I happened to have a hankering for. Whatever. He wasn't up to no good, and neither was I. I purchased a case of Diet A&W, and while it wasn't atrociously awful, it wasn't good either. Some diet sodas are good (7 Up, Dr Pepper, Squirt); but Diet A&W is not good. Not CVS's fault, but they also didn't have much of a diet-soda selection, so it really is CVS's fault, supply-chain issues be damned and damn the torpedoes! It's kind of a depressing store. That's what brings it down to two stars. The employee I dealt with was very nice and kind and patient. Everything was fine except sad. And not in a nostalgic or wistful way. I don't know. read more

Failed to automatically refill medications which are detrimental to heart and stroke prevention. Partially filled another medication that was low in stock and did not finish filling the prescription amount as written. Now that the detrimental medication is gone the doctor has 72 hours to respond. The pharmacy made the error and now that could cause a heart attack or stroke because of their error. A lawsuit against this company will be filed by me or my family if I am hospitalized, die, or am incapacitated due to the negligence of this pharmacy to provide adequate prescription refills. The lack of professionalism and inability to do their job is going to hurt or kill someone! I hope it's not me. read more

I am only rating the CVS Passport Photo service. It's the going rate of $14.99, super fast, less than 5 minutes BUT the young girl doesn't no the rules of what is acceptable. I smiled and she shot two photos, looking at each other separately. Then she said "no smiling". I should have googled it right then because it is totally acceptable, must be natural unexaggeration smile. So I came away with a non smiling sad looking picture but I'm going back with my receipt and proof of acceptable smiles. Man the staff over at the pharmacy either needs to get retrained or fired. Absolutely ridiculous! Scheduled my mother to get her second dosage for the Pfizer vaccine at this location which was supposed to be today at 10:15 Am, to which my mom calls me and hands the phone over to some lady behind the pharmacy counter telling me that the other CVS location billed both doses, so they cannot administer the vaccine due to being unable to bill her insurance. The lady told me to tell my mother to visit the Baldwin Park location and get her second dose there since the insurance was already billed "twice". Don't even get me started with the male pharmacist I spoke to over at Baldwin Park... He did not understand when I asked him to cancel the second charge as requested by the pharmacist at this location, kept asking me if I wanted to book a second dose appointment.... So I had called my mother and asked the pharmacist to contact the other branch herself to better explain, to which she says she is too "busy"... Anyways my mother arrives at the pharmacy to get her second dose and hands the phone to a female pharmacist mentioning that they are unable to take her because they are "busy" but had only billed the insurance for the FIRST dose only and our local CVS where we INITIALLY booked the appointment CAN and HAS to administer the dosage since she has an appointment which is still valid. The pharmacist over at Baldwin Park CVS had provided a photo on their system to show proof that they had only charged the insurance once. (This information shows up on all CVS location computers, but someone here seems to have a hard time reading this information...) Now she has to drive 25 minutes back to our local pharmacy to show them the information and get her dose.. read more

We went here to get my 2 yo son's passport photo. Apparently, if you're not tall enough to have your head reach the white backboard, they won't take your photo and won't try and accommodate you by allowing him to stand on a taller step stool. I understand that standing on a stool might be a liability but we could stand next to him and make sure he wouldn't fall. This is how the USPS would do it and we would have taken it there, but their camera wasn't working which is also frustrating. read more

So incredibly frustrating and infuriating. Long story short: do not get your flu shot at CVS, they WON'T make it easy. I was denied a routine flu vaccine today, on account of a "system shutdown" earlier in the morning. The staff claimed they were not accepting walk-ins, contrary to the scheduling system. I had even double-checked online right before arriving to confirm that walk-ins were indeed permitted. I totally would have understood if there were a stream of patients waiting in to be served; the pharmacy area was nearly empty, save for a guy ahead of me who was waiting for, of all things, a flu shot! I relayed my logic and observations back to the pharmacy tech, who then tried to ask the Asian female pharmacist (perhaps the manager). She outright refused to inoculate me, relaying the message via the tech that I should come in again another day. As I walked out CVS in frustration, I checked the CVS flu shot scheduling site once again, to see if I could select the "I'm here and ready now" option and get served. Lo and behold - I could! Moving forward, another more customer-oriented pharmacy can take my health insurer's reimbursement, not CVS. So much for their so-called purpose: "bringing our heart to every moment of your health." read more

The pharmacist, Wildon Jian, in the CVS Hacienda Heights, was rude and didn't care about the customer. Today, the same pharmacist, Wilson Jian, told me I had to return at 7:00 p.m. when I dropped my list of 3 items at 5:44 p.m. and, at that time, didn't have a customer. He told me that it was a big order, too many items. Three items mean too many for him? How lazy he is. I have been with this pharmacy for decades of my prescription and have never had any issues. It never took over 20 minutes until the pharmacist, Wilson Jian, was in charge, so I removed my list, canceled my presentations, and moved on to other pharmacies. We have been with this branch of CVS for decades and, most of the time, had a nice service. That all depends on which pharmacist is in charge at the time. read more

This place is unbelievable. My script was called in, I went there and they asked me to come back after 2. Fine. Hour+ later, I came back and a female worker told me it would be 15 more min. After about 30+ min later and I inquired, but the female worker made eye contact with me but blatantly ignored me. Do I come back again? How long will this be...? Who knows!? The male Pharmacist recognized me and thankfully told me he's working on it and it would be ready in 5 min. Sebastian, who checked me out was wonderful and always has been every time I see him. So big thanks to them. The customer service has been very inconsistent, but since it's close to home, I'm still coming here. The Saturday crew has a much better level of customer service. read more

I ordered a large canvas for a funeral and ordered it very early. Actually ordered a few canvases. Got a confirmation that everything was ready for pick up. I get here, and Fatema only had 2 ready. I came later than my pick-up time. She said she called and left a voice-mail, so I checked my phone, no missed calls, and no voice-mail. Then she said well I called a number." I'm not sure if it was yours. THAT IS WHY THERE'S A NUMBER TO CALL ON THE CUSTOMER ORDER. So I was like well now what?" She's like, "You can go to another cvs and see if they can make it. A 16x20 takes at least an hour to do, from what I was told. This is frustrating. I KNOW everywhere is short staffed, but that is bs. I might as well have ordered online and got them delivered. Next time, I'll go through somewhere else. But no apology. Just a shrug of the shoulders and an oh well attitude from her. read more

I left this CVS Pharmacy 3 months ago and still dealing with fallout. They failed to transfer prescriptions for me and my spouse. Not only that, they sent over the wrong birth control thus getting a prescription we didn't have to begin with. So since the little falling out with the main pharmacists that supposedly has been relocated, now I'm dealing with the fallout of poor customer service yet again. Stop going to CVS! This is a nice big CVS with lots of selection. But they did not have a key duplication vending machine. They do have CoinStar.

I went to pick up my prescription and the staff name Cynthia in the pharmacy with the glasses and pony tail was super rude and had a very bad attitude. She told me she can't find my prescription and she told me to call my doctor with really bad attitude. I told her maybe it's not on the system yet the doctor said to wait 10 mins and she just ignore and left. After 10mins I was going to ask her to check up on the system again but she told me I won't get my prescription if I just stand and wait over there, I have to go to drop-off first.???She can tell me at the first place. My eyes was really hurt and she treats me very poorly. I will leave a zero star if I can. read more

This is a pretty busy CVS considering the strip mall its located in is a little on the sketchy side. Although they are very busy they still seem to make sure the customers are taken care of. They are fast very helpful and the store is pretty well stocked. You can find medications, household items, hardware, medical supplies and aides. They also have a pretty huge selection of gifts, cards and fine spirits!(alcohol). Patio sets, holiday items, flowers, the list goes on... Oh I almost forgot they will develop your film or you can print pictures here at a discount. The only thing they don't have would be lettuce ... Otherwise for anything else this is the place. read more

This place just keeps going down hill. Of course management changes again and they have hired people who have no knowledge of their own sales. I purchased two "not your mothers" hair product items. Both buy one get one 50% off. Plus there's a coupon for $2 off any $6 of hair products. The cashier fatema tells me that I need to buy two of the exact same items and I don't understand their sales. I explain to her multiple times and she is insistent, so I tell her to go read the sign and she response I know my sales. Okay cool, she goes and asks the manager and the manager says it's exactly I say it is. So when I try to show her a picture of the sales tag and explain to her that's what I said, FATEMA (cashier) turns around and says that's what I told you, I was just saying the register wasn't doing it. Seriously dude so I tell her she is a liar and she starts going off on me. Then the manager Chrissy protects her when I start to put her in her place. Learn your sales CVS employees. If your customer has to tell you how it works then shit maybe I should be working here instead of you. Dear CVS Why are condoms behind locked vitrines? Given the super sensitive nature on the topic of unwanted conception lately, they should actually be free. But as you're a commercial business I guess that's not going to happen. And as the government gets most things wrong, they will not understand this concept either: to chip in and make this product free. Which would be a much better "bang for the buck" of tax money then most if their other "ideas". I travel throughout los angeles county for work and see many public locations. the staff was helpful and kind. I did not see one name tag, so I have no names to offer. I stopped to purchase cough drops and water. I needed to use the restroom. it was close to the most disgusting public restroom I have ever used (see attached picture of the toilet). after I exited the restroom I reached out to the employee in the pharmacy and she told me it was not her job to clean the restroom, but she will let them know... wow. then the sweet lady who helped me check out also just said "i'm sorry. This store is clean and well stocked, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. While waiting in line to be helped, the cashier closest to the door is supposed to greet everyone who enters the store. All I can say is that the volume and tone seemed more like a threat from a drill sargent than a friendly greeting to encourage people to come back again and again. I know that we all have bad days and we may not be able to work our dream job, but the attitude of the employees at this CVS is more like endentured servants, than people who should be happy to have a job.
