I had to hunt down some Airborne with all this craziness going on in the world. I was lucky enough to find 2 at this location. It is located not too far away from Hackensack University Medical Center, and I believe it is the closest Pharmacy store near the hospital. Customer service here is the worst I've ever encountered!!! Not only are there prices crazy but they are so rude, then not knowledgeable about anything when it comes to answering questions but then no one is in charge everyone is like a chicken with there heads cut off! I like this CVS! Staff are nice. It's also very organized considering how much traffic it must get since it's down the road from a huge hospital (Hackensack Meridian). The only downsides are (1) they usually only have one cashier who is also restocking shelves so you may have to wait a few minutes to be checked out and (2) the pharmacy takes a while to get your prescriptions done. I'll get a notification saying my Rx is ready...then when I go for pickup it takes an additional 15 minutes for them to actually fill it. It's not a huge deal but I would rather not have to wait since they said it was ready. read more

Horrible horrendous workers in the pharmacy. They are worse than mean ignorant elementary kids that will play around with you if they feel like it. I spoke to Christine about making sure medicine is in stock and expressed that it's important that she is sure it is so I don't go there for no reason. She seemed upset about me asking this. My number was blocked after speaking to her and even when I call with a different number they dare to play around and put me on hold and hang up on me. I spent like 2 hours to get things finalized. They don't know how to pick up a simple phone call. They will put you on hold for hours. The girl in the front has no clue what she is doing. Because she says the medicine was not available when it was. These type of workers should be fired immediately. I don't even know why they work when they don't know what they are doing and want to mentally play around with patients. read more

Standard CVS in regards to inventory. However, they are a cut above the rest when it comes to customer service. The associates are always asking if you need help navigating the store and they seem pretty genuine about it too. Do sign up for the extra care card. You'll receive 20% off offers weekly. Every time I walk in, any associate is always happy to help me find a particular item and today I was hunting for Cadbury eggs. Since I wasn't explicit to which type of Cadbury eggs I would like, the associate placed five different options on the counter for me to choose! Excellent!! Woo hoo!! And that is CUSTOMER SERVICE! Store is always clean and neat! No self checkout - But does have a price checker !! Not a big fan of the pharmacy drop offs-too slow for my groove. read more

Terrible staff, I've been waiting for my prescription for more than 30 mins when I was the only client there because 2 staff members decide to talk shit to each other in the back in front of my, while multiple staff members ask the gentleman to help with my rebill and he just tells them to wait while she talks to this other girl. LAWD the evening manager has an attitude. I could tell she had a stick up her rear from the minute I saw her. They screwed up my order at the front counter. There was a promotion where if you spent $30 on certain items you got $10 extrabucks. I thought it was before coupons and there was a misunderstanding between myself and the cashier. Turns out you had to spend that after coupons. No problem with that, those things happen and she seemed nice. She then calls over the manager to do a return. Ms. Attitude does the return. I said can you re-ring the order and ring me up for 2 of these so that I reach the $30? She only re rings what I originally purchased and unfortunately I didn't realize until after I paid. Throughout the whole thing I got a lot of groans, "oh my GAAWD!", eye rolls, and thrusting my purchases into/out of bags with more force than necessary. She kept asking me why should she do this/that "it doesn't make any sense!" Seriously I'm sorry I messed up but she could have been a lot more professional. Skip this place. read more

Worst pharmacy I have ever used. No prescription is ready when promised and the pharmacist is rude, impatient and apparently overworked. I'm sure with all the pharmacy customers that they have, they can afford to hire another pharmacist to assist. I need to switch pharmacies ASAP because it's bad. I was there for close to 2 hours for a prescription that should have already been filled. It make it especially bad because I am sick and just want to be in bed. read more

The store staff is very helpful and always welcome you. The pharmacy staff is a different story.. I personally love cvs and like the fact they send me texts through mobile about refill reminders and pick ups; that part GREAT! The pharmacy staff does not live to the expectations. This is the second time that I get a reminder for refill stating that if I want the refill they will contact my doctor and don't do it. A few months ago they had me back and forth with this, the doctor stated she gave them the ok and them saying they couldn't contact her. Long story short it was a Saturday and 5 minutes before closing I got a call saying they had made an error and my refill could be picked up the next day since they were closing. Yesterday same thing I called on my way there to see if prescription was ready for pick up and to no surprise they stated they had not been able to contact my doctor since Monday! Well if they would have contacted me in between it would have helped, but no one did. I called the doctor and she stated no one had ever communicated with her office from cvs. I was so tired that I got the number for another cvs asked doctor to call them and text came in already that my meds are ready for pick up. No more going to that Hackensack location for me!! read more
