I finally got to try Steph's macarons at her last PopUp in beautiful Hudson Yards NYC! They were so good! Steph is so friendly and she makes the cutest character macarons with the best flavors. Today we drove down to Morristown's #armory to experience Dessertopia! There was a wide variety of vendors. Everything looked fantastic! We met Steph aka Dr Tran she makes these amazing macarons ! We had to get some and I even picked one for my husband since it's his year this lunar new year, the year of the snake! She was so cool and nice! Super talented! I was captured by her beautiful and colorful macarons. Such cute characters and great flavors. Her personality and service is great as well. I highly recommend her macarons. I tried her custom made dragon bento macaron cake for my son. Pistachio flavor was on point. Perfect crunchiness and softness. It's perfect for a small gathering we cut into multiple slices for my family. The ube macaron flavor was also perfect. I also highly recommend the unreleased Dubai chocolate macaron. Worth it. I FINALLY MADE IT TO ONE OF HER POP-UP LOCATION!!! First thing first!! Follow her on Instagram!! So you know where she will have her pop up location, and her menu ahead of time!! Do make it easy when you are on a long line waiting and you know exactly what you want!!! I tried 6 of her macarons today!! Taro milk tea, Thai tea, Black sesame, Lavender earl grey, Turon, and ube creme bulee!! Ube and Thai tea was my favorite!!! Yes they are not cheap, but they are pretty good!!! I've been fortunate enough that I've run into her at her quick pop ups and every time I see her the macarons are different. I can not say enough great things about Steph's Macarons. I discovered her pop ups via Yelp and I've been back two other times to get her delicious macarons. Not only are they super cute and pretty on the outside but they are slightly crunchy and then super soft and delicious on the inside. I absolutely adore all the different flavors she offers - from cookies and cream to ube to pistachio to cinnamon toast crunch to taro to thai tea to even cheddar! (I have yet to try the cheddar macaron). And so many more flavors I didn't list! My kids and I love going to her pop ups which are usually in different ice cream or coffee shops. She has such a beautiful display and my kids love choosing the different characters they want to buy and devour. My daughter's faves are any chocolate macarons and the cinnamon toast crunch ones. My son loves the cookies and cream and ube flavors. My favorite? Basically ALL of them. Steph is also so so kind and patient. She always greets us with a smile and gives us the time we need to pick out the perfect macarons to feast upon. Thank you Steph for the delicious macarons and for all your pop ups! I was excited to finally try out Steph's macarons and bought some at Kogarocon. Made sure we got there early to get the anime themed ones. Not only were they cute but tasted so good. You can taste the flavors really come through without it being overly sweet. The texture was perfect combo of soft/moist with crunch to the shell. We bought the combo that had a few from the different tiers of macarons. Really liked the ube crem brûlée, strawberry crunch, Samoa cookie, earl grey Totoro and lemon! My kids enjoyed the all the characters (Squirtle, dragon ball, poke ball, Cookie Monster). I felt bad biting Pikachu since he was sooo cute! I finally had the chance to try Steph's Macarons and they had to be some of the best Macs I've ever tried. So soft and chewy and the filling was very flavorful. We tried the following flavors: dubai chocolate, cookies & cream, chocolate ganache, vanilla bean, raspberry, and cosmic brownie. They were all so tasty. My son, daughter and I devoured them. The designs are also really cute and fun. Our favorites were Mina, Jinu, Pikachu & the teddy bear. Steph was very sweet and helped us with our selection. She offered a huge variety of flavors. Beautiful and tasty macarons by Steph! Steph is a star being a dentist by day and macaron baker and artist by night. When you get a dozen you get to have a little tasting of everything! My husband and I were eyes open wide with how delicious the Turon Macaron was, banana caramelized macaron who knew! The strawberry crunch cake macaron was also my favorite and my family members who love it all got a text, and they're all jealous because it's in NJ. This was so worth the drive from CT to check out the pop up and try these pretty macarons. I'll need to convince my Jersey family members to get these macarons for their next event! read more

For Christmas, I booked a class for my kids to take a French macaron-baking class with Steph's Macarons. I was very impressed that they did such a great job and that the macarons came out well. Met Steph at an event and she was super sweet. I talked to her previously on social media about an order and she was very responsive and professional. Same as in person, she was very kind. At the event, she had macarons themed for the event as well as some other flavors and designs. You can tell she put her time with the flavoring of each treat as well as special detail with the designs. I almost didn't want to eat them because they looked so delicate and astonishing. For someone who typically does not like macaron's, I thank Yelp for having me cross pathes with Steph's Macarons! I love that she doesn't make the typical looking macarons, and that they are not dry as most macarons that I have had in the past. They are truly soft to the bite, and have a pretty great quality taste to them. Speaking of not typical shaped macarons, seeing all the Harry Potter themed, made my Harry Potter loving heart bloom of excitement. How could I not get the sorting hat one, no less! Was recommended to me by a friend and decided to visit her stand at the Jersey City Night Market. I like that she does pop ups and makes it accessible to different people. Steph was so sweet and her service was amazing. Not to mention how good the macarons were. I tried the crème brûlé, nutella, cake batter, s'more, pistachio, cookie butter and fruity pebbles and they were all delicious but my personal favorite was the crème brûlée. Most importantly, my son's girlfriend -- who eats gluten-free baked goods often and knows the difference -- absolutely loved it and had very positive things to say about the taste and texture. I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes. But worth it once in a while. And they have a bathroom in the back!
